Amazing place to be visit in Bangalore just next to Kemp Forte Mall. The Shiva Statue is divine and looking at it for few seconds gives you goosebumps. There is also a wishing well, where you can wish something by putting a coin in it. One more thing I never saw anywhere was a paper to write a letter to God and to be thrown in the Havan there. Simply awesome.

Management is very bad in terms of money looting..they just forcing people to give money... actually darshan is free of cost but for new comers who don't know well..they ask 150 rupees as entry fees....on special day and govt holidays they charge minimum entry fees 100 ruppes (no free darshan) by forcing people to take entry which is not good at all. It would be good they should have entry ticket 20/30 ruppes, a normal person can't afford. Request management to change their mindset and do good for all common people which lead everybody should get darshan and return happily. I feel it's just commercialization for the sake of God.

As a visitor to this temple today, I had a great experience. I have been previously around 5 years ago and found it fantastic then too. It has a bigger 'museum' area now but the staff are great and answer questions where required. I paid Rs250 for entrance and no additional money for questions, a blessing, coins for prayer buckets and candle offering. This is a great temple in my opinion as it is fun, quirky and memorable. I recommend and visit.

OK

Good things first: Its a very good place to visit. One of the biggest statues of lord shiva in India. I have visited this place since it has been established.
Now coming to the "not so good" things: people there are running business in the name of god. We have to pay 30-200 Indian rupees for darshan. Women there are trained to sell tickets even if we don't want them. there are different idols to see inside the temple, we have to pay extra money to see them.
I questioned the management as to why people are being charged, He said that the money goes to a charity based hospital.
But i dont give a damn about it, if its charity, people have to do it at their will & not get looted like this.
Overall, its just a place to visit once, like a tourist attraction.

I went there with my friend. It's a beautiful place and I loved cleanliness. There were few book stalls also food and other stalls. The place was very peaceful. Must pay a visit to this place. The weather was so wonderful the day I visited this place I would to go there again.

Absolutely not good place. If you want to go to a authentic temple try atleast small ones but this is like an exhibition where you pay 100 to enter and see a big statue yes it's well maintained but 100 for temple in India is absolute non sense I feel. But it's ok for one time visit but 100 is too much pricing.

Nice place and cost was expensive the god is very nice and good place to sit and make a yoga and this place was situated behind the kemfort mall. The place was situated in the very small.and easy to reach there.near by the isro and the Sterling's Mac hotel and the leela palace.

Be careful. They pretend as if everybody needs to pay the fees. They ask for the tickets without mentioning that there is a free entry also. Do not pay a single rupee. Just say, outside darshan. Big time cheaters.

The statue of lord Shiva at this place is humongous and it feels like you've visited all the 11 jyotirlings over here only they've got small models of them and we do parikrama throughout them so yes it was a great experience

It was good. But they have asked for 150 rups as entry fees for the temple. This temple seems like more than a business than a worship centre. Inside it is good. Its kind of north indian style inside. Big shiva statue. Everything inside is man made. Artificial mountain like view. Inside it is very congested.

I wouldn't call it a Temple. Theme park would be a better name for it.
Its just a money making racquet, you wouldn't find any spirituality there.
If recemand not to visit this place if you are looking for some place to pray.
Be careful while entering , You'll find this women who will insist you on taking taking the special entry which costs 250.
If you manage to reject her scheme and move towards normal darshan there you'll find another 2 receptionist who will offer you different schemes.
Such waste of time.
The only thing free is watching this statue.

Good temple have visited multiple time.
Just one negative point is the level to which this is being commercialized.
Entry fee is way too high if you want to view the whole temple

At every step and every turn you have tickets to buy. It's not a temple, it's a bazaar. Nobody has an ounce of devotion among the staff and poojari. Extremely commercialized. Being from Bangalore, I remember visiting the temple as a child.. it was calm and serene back then. Knowing how beautiful this temple was and what a disaster they have made it for the sake of money only angers me. You go to pray and come out feeling looted. Good for tourists .. but if you want to feel devotional and have a peaceful time, please go to another temple

A very peaceful place, entrance is next to mall, there is a free entrance too.. If u want to see caves and offer anything to God, it is charged then.. Shiva's idol is very beautiful and calm. More than a temple, it has nw become a tourist spot.

The Shivohamshiva Temple, located in the heart of Bangalore, is abode to a 65-feet-tall Shiva statue.

Seated in a yogic posture, the deity is a towering symbol of faith. Lakhs of devotees throng the temple to experience God, especially on festive days.

The majestic Lord sits in a lotus position and has in the background Mount Kailash, and the holy river Ganges flowing from the His matted locks. The sense of tranquility that one experiences by looking at this 65-feet marvel, surrounded by mountains and with the blue sky above, is overwhelming.

Sorry to say but this place is run by a bunch of touts. Even though there s a free entry to the temple the person sitting at the entrance forces you to buy a Rs 250/- ticket. On a weekday they make you wait in the Q just to show that there s a lot of demand and rush at this place, but the fact being the temple was totally empty. A complete commercial place.

Before entering into the main temple you need to go thru artificial cave which feels very cool and relax. There is a big lord Shiva statue which is superbly builtup and designed. This was good experience. Good place to visit with friends and family.

Very good place to visit. You have free darshan and paid darshan(250 rs)
you will have many facilities if you are going to paid darshan.

Note people who are claustrophobic please avoid going in to hill structure.
though they have made air flow with A/c and fans.It wold be a having a bit tough as two people cant stand side by side there the path is very narrow.

One of the best tmeple in Bengaluru, of Lord Shiva. Holy as well peacefull temple, You can go there and do meditation, also that night arti (Sandhya Aarti) is awesome. Everyone who want to visit bengaluru, should go there atleast once.

Who would visit this place, either a genuine devotee or a tourist. It does not work either way, its totally commercialized place. A temple needs to have a general dharshan. Though this place has, not even single person is allowed by the workers. If you notice they intentionally isolate every group of visitors and force everyone to buy tickets and go in particular route which does not worth it at all. I would recommend agains going to this place. You can save ur temper, money and energy. Believe you don't loose anything.
