The temple houses a giant monolithic statue of Lord Shiva. Apart from that, it gives you a chance to vicariously travel through all the Shiv dhams through the architecture which is present. Go there at the time of evening Aarti.

It's not a temple it's just a tourist place, you can go there once. There is 40-50 feet idol of Lord shiva that is in the center and rest all places it has small small shops of lord shiva, oh sorry i mean to say small small idols of shiva.. You can sit back and relax for few minutes inside the central area which only i liked,
The management asks 250 for per person. It's not fair asking money too much. Don't travel here, if you aren't interested to spend rs 250. Asking this much money loses the divine within us.
Wonderful temple I ever seen jai Bhole bom,. But one thing I don't like is there are asking do spl puja what is that this is just making fool to people plz change if it is possible , you guys are doing business the name of God which is very bad thing ,
Although it's a temple, but it's not as cleas and hygienic as expected. No hand wash right after removal of shoes, small pond right in front of shiva statue is full of algae and stagnant water.. Had to buy special entry although there was no one around and felt it's too expensive for the experience.. No direction indicator.. Had to ask someone around at every section. Even the entrance is very small.. Unrecognisable if you blink.. Request to the caretakers, please clean the pond and all water resources there.. And put a hand wash area next to shoe keeping before entering...
Place is good but there is no free entry though its mentioned as free. For normal entry it costs 150 per person and for special entry 250 per person.Free for senior citizens and half cost for childrens.Mangement is looting the peoples money like anything.
WOW.. Its a wonderful place to visit atleast once in your lifetime. Helped me to connect to my roots. Very reverent prayers and yagnas are goes on here.. In the middle of all the Darshan and Aarti, I feel like I am in heaven.
I have read many reviews about this place that it is minting money out of pilgrims but I must say one thing this place is a spiritual heaven. The temple is so well maintained and the infrastructure is so beautiful that the spiritual tour ticket of 150 rupees is worth paying and moreover one thing if you visit any mall or any other place we are ready to spend hundreds of bucks there then why are we so stringent in entry fees to temple.
The temple has his own beauty and Charm in itself. The special pooja package has several parts and one will feel spiritually engrossed after performing all the artis and Abhisheks included in the package.
This temple is good for one time visit as it will not give you any divine feeling. They have commercialized it to its peak. For everything you need to pay.
5 stars for Lord shiva, its a wonderful statue. .. not even single star for looters at every step.. 150 per person. May be poor ppl can never visit this temple. Its a forceful donation collection center.
Nice Statue, but management was doing harassment for took entry tickets. Don't buy entry tickets, it's obsevitly free entry. If you spend evening time here, you have to get chance for offer harathi to lord Shiva.
A devotional Shiva temple with spiritual sayings displayed as posters. Gold coins are completely rusted. No water in front of Shiva. Maintenance has to improve a lot
An artificial spiritual place where hindus can offer puja without any hinderance. You are visitors only..enjoy as visitors....you can offer special puja after paying Rs. 250...Shiva Deities are the cause of attraction..you can visit artificial jotirlinga. Mini market of teracotta, hindu God idol, book stalls available..more fully it was spiritually motivated ...fun with religious faith.. A big idol of Lord shiva is the main attraction..
Very good temple. If you wanna just go and meditate , please go during weekdays afternoon or so.Weekends will be filled with people.Such a wonderful temple for prayer but people will not let you do so. They will be busy clicking pictures.I feel authorities should ban photography atleast near Shiv s statue.
Lot of good things about the place, the quotes you get to read while entering gets you motivated and then the Shivoham chant inside makes you rejuvenated, yeah they do charge money for different things but it's your choice if you wanna spend or not, basic things like entry, darshan are all free so all good.
The temple is located near kempfort mall in bangalore. A very big shiva temple is there. Aarti time in evening is after 7. This is one of popular place to visit in bangalore
|| Om Namah Shivay || God forgive me for writing this post. I am fan of this temple and visited several times in last 7yrs. Today visited after long time. Surprise to see Rs 100 charges for normal darshan which was not earlier. This charges has been made mandatory. My only say why in India on the name of spiritual we are charging so hefty. Such charges demotivate people devotion towards god. On discussion with management it's for charity. But won't agree on force fully charging this amt. Secondly, very smartly management (info shared by one of the staff) has made it free visit between night 9pm to early morning which is quite obivous its off time. (See visiting hrs graph of google that very few visits in off hrs). I am worried for poor devotee who cannot afford this. God bless them and make his life affordable to visit this temple. My request to management to think and make life better for everyone and save this beautiful temple.
A wonderful place to worship. A peaceful place to worship. No need to take special darshan ticket. Only Gufa darshan ticket (50 ) is enough. Even without that, temple experience was amazing.
jai shiva Temple of Lord Shiva. A huge statue of Lord Shiva siting in meditation position is been erect here. Just situated in well approachable location, focuses on all holy location of Lord Shiva and benefits of meditation.
This is more commercial than any other temple where you have to pay 150 or 250 even though there is a path for free entry, it means only entry is free it seems (whatever it means). If you want to see God you have to see the statue from road and not enter, as per the person who was selling the 150 ticket. They try to give you the cave temple effect but it just feels so artificial. Overall not satisfactory. They should change the name from temple to something else because a temple is supposed to be for everyone whether they have money to pay or not. Min fee of 150 clearly states it is not for everyone and it is just a commercial building where the aim is making money and not a olace of worship for everyone.
Temple is good but the services there are worst on the name of God management are maraud the people who goes their for darshan which is really bad I understand for vip darshan we need to pay amount but 500 is like more then enough..and inside for everything you need to pay...
