Very nice and peaceful place , Monday night is always special here. Huge Lord Shiva sculpture is main highlight of shivoham temple. Whats special about this place is that at shivoham temple everyone sings prayers at night around 12 and after that prasaad is distributed to everyone. Even in night time many bhaqt visit this temple from different corners of Bangalore to pray to Lord Shiva and to gain peace of mind.

Temple is backside of a shopping mall.entrance to temple is from shopping mall underground parking place. Awesome place . perfect place for lord shiva devotes. Lord shiva idol is very huge and holy. Entry fee is more than 100 and special puja fee is 250. every one hour there will be a harathi time everyone can perform harathi themselves, they only provide things . prasadam won't be available. You can take photos. no extra charge for camera.

People say it's commercial or costly but beleive me the price is worth. They have 12 jyotirlinga prarup which really makes you feel positive. It's a really positive place to get peace. Per me you should visit at least once the energy there will warm you up.

Fully satisfied. As per my belief, acharas are belongs to mind. If mind satisfied that we have done good thing, our mental worries are diminished. I understand that the process in the temple reflects it. Hence it's worth *****. Because so many of us lacks it(satisfaction).

Superb

Beware of unwanted things.

Beware of unwanted things.
On main gate one of person told us that we can't go further without ticket, whuch cost 150 n 250 INR. There is no provision of free entry. I provided my card for payment. Luckily due to some network issue my amount is not deducted. Meanwhile a long queue of people built and people start shouting what type of ticket you providing.
Afterwards i told please proceed queue i am waiting aside once network back i will pay.
Next person only paid 5rs and enter i asked her why you didn't charge 150 or 250 from him
Than she told he took only for shoes.
Than i felt that she is trying to cheat me with optional ticket.
I feel sad and realise issue of cheating people in name of religion.

Unique big lord shiva temple in India at bangalore, you have to pay only 150rs to enter in mandir premises and on this amount they will provide you various facilities like
Rudraabhishek,
101 OM NAMHA SHIVAE mantra jaap to 101 shivlings,
Hawan pooja,
Ganesh darshan,
Hardiwar theme,
Jal abhishek of all shivlings of india,
Diya on jaal,
And various other things...

You can say it paisa vasool paid service..

I had never seen these types of temple who provide facilities like this.

Please go once if you are in bangalore.

Good one. But the ambience outside makes you feel you are not going in to a temple. The entrance us through the parking of More supermarket. But rush is less and they have all the miniature modela of various shiva temples in india which is quite intersting. You need to pay 250 per head if you go with all poojas which i will prefer to go with rather than going on a regular pass

This is run and maintained by RVM foundation. A pure business temple in Bangalore. Each and every step is a business here. Last time when I had been to Shivaratri, they said it's compulsory to buy special darshan ticket and Pooja items. What the hell!!! It's my wish to go for free darshan or special darshan. You can see executives sitting everywhere and demanding you to buy jyothirlinga darshan tickets. The milk they give you to pour on shivlinga is just a ash water, not milk. If you take Pooja items there will be no one to use it inside. On the other side you find line of commercial shops. This place is not for devotion.

Peaceful

Peaceful

It is a small and a beautiful temple with a feeling of Himalayas around.
This tall and beautifully structured Shiva idol is the main attraction of the temple.
The pathway to it is very dark and long and it looks like a tunnel that you have to pass through reach the Shiva idol.
Water falls from his hair and you can actually feel the drops and mist in the premises.

These guys here are just running a business in name of temple. You have to pay even for walking through caves. I didn't get the feeling of visiting a temple. Outside it is written normal entry is free but nothing is free once you enter here.

Worth a one time visit. Be aware of commercialism of the temple prayers/offerings, etc. One can visit the temples without paying a single rupee.

The entrance is from left when you are facing the mall. Entrance is a (quite dark) tunnel of ~100m. Rest of the route through temple is well managed/barricaded. They have good system for leaving footwear, don't know about luggage.

Idols are quite magnificent, with plenty of opportunities for selfies!
During non rush hours/days, it should take around 30 mins to complete the visit.

There could be some food outlets in the mall - I haven't checked. Alternatively, after exit from the temple (from the left of the mall), cross the street and go little left to find a decent south Indian restaurant.

The mall seems well connected by public transport, cabs, autos. Indira nagar metro station is the closest one (~2KM). I don't know about car parking availability in mall parking for temple visit.
