Perfect outing to relax with family and regain peace of mind. The huge Shiva statue should produce the "wow" moment for a few seconds. It's a bonus if you reach during aarati time.. Around 6-7 pm

Beautiful Shiva temple. Macro shape like Himalayan Mountain of Shiva image is more attractive. Also deities of Shiva Lingam among others installed worth for worship. There is a cave journey in the temple wherein Badrinath,Kedarnath like so many Jothir Lingam statues in the shape of temples with colorful illuminations are also more attractive.Though the tariff appears to be high but seems to be more worthy realized after completion of cave journey. Devotees abhisekam on Shiva Lingam with the help of Gurukkal without tariff inside the cave is pleasant to each devotees. There are two giant fountains., i.e., one from Shiva head (gangha ), Other in front of Shiva are also attractive. The full temple is have a feel of Saaral Rain due to the fountains. My entire family with my grand children enjoyed this place very happily. I also worshipped the deities besides the cave journey.

5 star rating for the monumental, magnanimous idol of Lord Shiva in meditation and fond memories associated with the place.
Negative (-10) rating for unnecessary, greedy commercialization of the place.

Statue is good but the management is completely commercialized. They'll charge you 100 pp just for viewing the statue else 150 for watching the caves ( just for name sake, everything is artificial). I wouldn't recommend it all if you are visiting with your old parents because caves are unnecessarily built and are too narrow and dark. It's a religious place but I would say avoid it if you can.

Very nice place. Entry is free to visit only shiva statue. Entry fee for cave is 50 & 150 for puja archana. The place is commercialized over the years, but has a very calm atmosphere. The caves and the structures are beautifully made. Located at the busy area on Old Airport Road behind the Total Mall (Kemp Fort).

The temple located in Murgeahpalya city also called as shivoham shiva temple is dedicated to Lord shiva. What a wonderful makeover this place has done by revamping basic stuff .. nice clean parking area... huge campus and quaint temple .. nice place of Lord shiva. Neat and clean. No words are enough to say... Speechless good blessing atmosphere here...Feel the positive vibes of god everywhere Calm environment and good atmosphere the holiest place on earth. But, it seems that locals are a bit of cheating the tourists/pilgrims. Perfect place for seeing the beauty of architecture and spirituality & awesome street food.
all it now needs is a civic sense from visitors. Modern infra with centuries-old tradition is visible here.

It is a temple of Lord shivaa.

This is how hindus are exploited in the name of god... give money in small temples insted.. God would bless you more than a visit to such shady place named as temple. This is a commercial structure intended to make money.. you would come back with negative energy .

I believe its over hyped. The only attraction is giant Shiva statue which looks beautiful. The way inside is mostly in a cave like setting. An artificial rendition of the Chaar dhaams of Uttarakhand. Seeing many reviews that they charge you for the entry which is incorrect though the guys at the counters would definitely ask you for the same. Those tokens are however for poojas or sewas. There is an ok amount of space to sit and relax. Not much though. Overall, one can visit once to see what the hoopla is all about and to experience.

They have a pretty good set which shows the various forms/avatars of Shiva Lingas. The gigantic Shiva and Ganesh statues are the main source of attraction. And the place is easily commutable

Very important: don't pay any amount after standing in the line.. ask as normal entry (not inside the cave) .. if you don't ask , those guys at the desk charge u rs150 for normal n 250 as special darshan .. but remember, if u want to visit Shiva shrine , then YOU NEED NOT PAY ANYTHING. Don't fall to their words

It's really a wonderful place.. but earlier it was free to atleast visit and see the God... But now in order to enter inside or the Big statue of Lord Shiva they are charging money... We live in a world where Ppl do business in the name of God which goes for charity... But this are my personal views... Incase visiting please be prepared to buy tickets individually to experience spirituality..

The 2 stars is all for the beautiful work of the statue of the deity built. Nothing around is a melody. Massacre of religions and traditional practices. It looks like no one around the place can recite a true 'mantra' from any of the four Vedas. People don't even wash themselves before offering milk to the deity. It's pitiful sight to see religion being used as a corporation to generate business. I hope someone can make a true change to this mass murder of actual religions.

Nice place, there is a grand lord shiva statue , and there is a proper arrangement of all the jyotirlinga s that is scattered around in our country, you can see them all here. The aarti takes palce around 7:30 pm and is a very good experience as everyone takes part with their own aarti....

However , it's clearly a money making machine as most of our religious places are in recent times.

Shivoham Shiva temple was established by Rvm foundation. It is marked by a 65ft tall figurine of Lord Shiva carved in white marble, and placed in an artificial pool of water symbolising Lord Shiva's natural habitat, this place is a beautiful pilgrimage centre for all the devotees of Lord Shiva. This temple is considered as one of the most beautiful shiva temples around the country. The beautiful statues of Lord Shiva and Lord Ganapathi are a major attraction for all the devotees visiting the temple. The temple is known for its well-maintenance and regular festivities being organised for the devotees for them to indulge in the worship of Lord Shiva, who is considered as one of the major gods in Southern India. Very beautiful

It was just 5 minutes walk from my home, so when my parents came to visit me, I took them here. Even though there was not a much queue, people at the entrance (inside entrance) asked us to pay and stand in queue not allowing any one to get in.After entering inside, we were talking our mobile phones, for that again they asked us to pay , Then since I know kannada, people were caught and allowed everyone later. After entering inside also in many small mandirs inside felt like fully commercialised. But any how God is God. We sat for free minutes and prayed and finally came. People going first time, don't fall for this trap.. anyhow the ambience was good with large Shiva statue.

Mesmerising and peaceful place to spend time with family. The temple is open to devotees for 24 hours. It is one of the famous attractions in Bangalore.
Now the management are overcharging. We visited last year at the entrance fees for Rs.50 now it is Rs.150

This is good place to visit in bangalore. It is usually good in evening from 6 to 7 pm when aarti happens.
you get a chance to have the aarti with music and diyas, fountain and lights.
when you want to take your parents to a commercialized temple then you can go here, its up to you if you want to purchase each things like ticket, special darshan, 12 jyotirlings darshan ticket, 108 coin's ticket, etc.
You can spend 30 minutes to 1 hr here and enjoy the shiva temple with bhajans and aarties.
