I agree with people who say it's a money making temple. But you can go for a free entry. But really beautiful place to visit.
I agree with people who say it's a money making temple. But you can go for a free entry. But really beautiful place to visit.
It seems to be commercialized rather than getting an spiritual feel.... Like an tourist place rather than temple.
statur of shiva is good. Sitting arrangements are good. Only good things about this temple. Right from starting till end it looks loke Comercial purpose built. Present at Backside of mall. Even pujaris doesnt like a proper pujari instead look like some other state country local ppl who have been kept for small salary with 2 3 mantras. Not a devotional one. Makes u to visit caves for lingas whch are artificially built for some extra money. Not wrth and devotional either.
Very crowded now a days.... Not a peaceful place. Avoid to going in festival or holiday.
This place is good but they are collecting money in the name of god
Inside temple is pleasant but outside ticket price is very high per head 150 and 250 rupees too high .medium ticket should be there to all levels of people .
Unnecessary they loot people.staff will confuse us and force us to pay entry fee .there is free entry but still they force us to buy 150 rupee ticket..we just argued and didn't pay the entry fee..very commercial place.. apart from fee, temple is good and well maintained. Don't pay any fee since it is free.
Beautiful shiva statue is there , at entrance don't buy any tickets. They are making business of your emotions.
For the first time ever I paid 250 Rs for Darshan. They also have normal Darshan queue which will cost you 200 Rs. That means you are not allowed for Darshan if you don't have money.. minimum amount to be paid is RS 200 at least. I opted for special Darshan because I came from long way to see this temple, and since normal Darshan was to see the statue from long distance and special one was to see it from near. Also they don't have Prasad after paying this money. It was a very bad experience for me. This is more like a museum then a temple.
Staff are fully money minded now a days... You can visit temple for once
Ita good for peace but now everything is money making business here.
Nice place to be... good environment.... Shivomay.... Shivoaham
Was staying near this place, missed going there, Seen from balcony of hotel room.
Good Temple, This is a group of model temples. Best for students to get knowledge about our "Shakti Peetas"..
Awesome time spend with Shiva.
By referring previous reviews I had kept 150 rs for temple visit., But here they charge me nothing, they will charge only if we have to perform pooja or visit 12 jyotirling darshan (which is just a fibre model).
I spent 50rs for 12 jyotirling darshan.
For seeing Shiva idol of 65 fts they will not charge u nor they will force u to buy tickets.
I had heard a lot about this Shiva Temple, but after entering the premises, I didn't get the feeling of a holy place there. The entry ticket costs you 150 bucks per head, and that is too much for a temple. It has been built to generate money, everything there, even the pujas looked like a DHONG (hindi word Drama). They have created everything like a Shiv Temple, it has replicas of 12 Jyotirling, a Pond where u can light Diyas, a tree where u can tie a thread and make wishes, and everything is fake. I didn't like it, can be termed a tourist place not a temple at all. The authenticity was missing because the intent is to make money. Beware.
Waste of time and money, they made devotion as business
Very nice Lord Shiva temple
But today in eve on Maha Shivarathri huge queue for normal darshan taking more than 5 hours and paid darshan adult Rs 250/-, child RS 150/- even paid darshan 2 hours.
Super, architecture, ergonomic, loard Shiva in meditation, 12 Lingas dwadasha lingas
It is the lord Shiva temple, the statue of lord Shiva is very high. I personally visit here multiple times. I found it's very peaceful place, you should definitely visit here once atleast then you will want visit again & again. The senerio of this temple is very beautiful.
Everybody said those people are asking money for entrance but when I went there it is free of cost , it's depends upon time they change the amount some time it's 50 some time it's 150 sometime it's completely free of cost , but place is super cool and devotion feel is there , if they remove the entrance amount then it's superb , but they have to maintain so many things there, for that they asking for money it's there problem , Siva idol is like fest to the eyes for sure ...
A great place to feel in one with the lord. Very well maintained. Staff used to be good, however recently they have started pestering for donations and entry tickets. A total put off...
The place was peaceful but looting money in the name of God...
In the Shiva temple God is to bigg and there is more too see and it's an nice temple
Please dont call it as temple. It is only to make money. Charging rs.
150 as entrance fee....
Nice place. Clean inside. Massive statue. Well maintained. Some of the volunteers may protest against a camera other than on mobile phones. Went during Arati( prayer) time at 7:30-8 pm and watched the puja. No need to buy tickets if you want to see only the Shiva statue.
The statues/idol/structure of Shiva and Ganesha look magnificent.
The entrance and the passages with red, blue and white light gives a shady feeling. The entrance especially makes you think like its an entrance to scary house in malls or exhibition centers.
More than a temple it give a tourists/place to visit type feeling because
1. Nobody charges you to visit a temple. unless you want to do some pooja why should we pay entry fee to temple.
2. The staff at entrance was initially slightly forcing to take special entrance tickets for 250, when we said we we just visit he let ue move it. Again one one staff asked us to take ticket for 150 per person to visit. After telling them that we just want to visit only they gave us a ticket of 50 per person.
3. Staffs where asking to show them the tickets at multiple times as if we where in some fare. I never knew temples had this system.
4. They have arranged a sort of exhibition/display center on the underside of the designed mountain background. Which is really nice but again the blue and red light gives a very shady feeling.
Altogether the structure of Lord Shive and Lord Ganesha looks magnificent but the system and the staff doesn't gives a temple like feeling. End of the day this is just my perspective from my experience.
Beautiful place.Take special darshan ticket for quick darshan and to perform all poojas with this ticket.
Devine of God bless
Om NAMO SHIVAYA
Must Visit Place in Bangalore (only one time)
One of the biggest Shiva statue in Asia
Highly commercialized and money minded staffs, this is not a temple, this is a tourist Place.
Beware Staffs will nicely force you to buy below :
* Special darshan
* Special Cave entry
* Special Pooja
etc
Though the idol looks incredibly amazing, from my experience, place doesnt give you that spiritual and divine feel.
Business business everywhere inside the temple.
Charging 150 rs for cave entrance is ridiculous. The entry and exit gates is on the either sides of kempfort mall which is also very narrow and seems like a maze while you walk in.
Apart from these factors, the temple is good for visiting in the evenings.
They will try to convince you to buy special entry tickets worth 250rs.. Better you can visit free entry. Since no diff at all between both. But anyway you have to pay 50rs entry fee even for free entry.
Well maintained and clean...Open even now in covid times...
I came to the temple, read the responses of others and saved some money. Do not buy tickets for 250, I bought for 100. It was interesting to see 12 jyortir lingams, or rather their copies, although the word is probably not entirely appropriate. No one especially piles up with the services, if you want to make a puja, you need to pay. I liked it. Read reviews-very useful thing)))
Christian management is managing this temple to fool Hinduism. By asking money everywhere they loot out pockets and our divinity to the God will goes off..
Very well built place with a great religious atmosphere. Best place to visit when you want to get your mind off of your tensions in life. The only thing that bothered me a bit was, at the outside of the temple, it's written as free darshan, but when you go inside the temple after waiting so long, they're asking you to pay hundred or two hundred bucks to go in.
Had a great religious moment. I went on the day of pongal and pandits there helped in performing all the rituals.
The place is more 'commercial' than it is about 'spirituality'. There are also instants of plastic being burnt in the name of lighting candles for the deity. The entry and exit is also not systematic and there are no proper fire exits in the location. Not a place to visit if you are in search of some religious intervention. Good enough for a jolly trip into the spiritual amusement park.
Peaceful place to visit with family. Entry charge starts from 150 , but it's worth it. Located just behind Kemp fort mall.
Wonderful place, a small trip and introduction to all kind of shiva lingam, who ever unable to visit kaashi , Kedar and Badrinath etc... You can go here to see all the miniature of those. Good ambience , set up was good and peaceful
Looting visitors by forcing to take special passes for Darshan. As seen there was no rush for Darshan. Very bad management
Enterence fee is Rs150.This is too much.Siva and Ganesha statues are big.Very small area.
Temple is very nice, we can feel the Lord shiva statue
Nice place to visit. Entry fee is waived but you will need to pay 50 INR for certain places to view inside the temple.(approx-150 for all visit)
Went twice in three years and happy with the place maintenance. Weather conditions makes the visit more enjoyable. #ShivayaNama
Has huge statue of Shiva and ganapati.
Buy ticket to see different shivalinga.
places to visit once in life time.
