Rushmore Loan Management Is Run By Liars! They Reported Us Late On Our Mortgage By Over 190 Days Even Though We Are 100% Paid Up And Refuse To Remove If From Our Credit Report! They Have Told Us They Will For Months Only To Lie About It And Never Follow Through. They Added $13,000.00 To Our Mortgage Debt On Our Credit Report Only And When We Asked Why Said We Don t Know Why? Dispute The Credit Report And We Will Back You Up They Lied And Told The Credit Agency s We Were Still Late 190+ Days And Wouldn t Give An Answer To We re The Extra $13,000 Came From. Credit Agencies Have Our Current Mortgage Statement Showing Us Right But Rushmore Is Fighting Us For No Reason! We Have To File A Lawsuit Now. Don t Trust These Liars!!

New to this company, but they were very help and informative thus far. They answered all of my questions and made me feel welcome. I look forward to working with them.

This is one of the worst companies I have ever come across. Please, please stay away. I was one of the unlucky people whose mortgage loan was sold to this company when I recently refinanced. I have had a nightmare of a time. They sent me a letter asking for proof of insurance for my home in August, I called them and gave them the information just a few days later, way before their deadline. They still went ahead and erroneously charged me for insurance claiming I never gave them proof of insurance. They went ahead against my knowledge and purchased a home insurance policy for my home and adjusted my mortgage payment. I called them for a SECOND time and begged to speak to a manager. After being transferred to a coupon hotline, then calling back and being on hold for more than an hour was finally able to get through. I gave the manager proof of insurance and told them this was MY SECOND TIME giving it to them, and I informed them I was purchasing a new home and moving all my insurances in a few weeks to a different company, but there would be no gaps in insurance ever for my home. The manager agreed, said he understood and informed me I would get my money back and my mortgage would go back to normal. Fast forward to now, nothing has happened. To top it off, the new insurance I changed to sent them a copy of my invoice which I paid already in full for a year and this company sent my new insurance company a payment! So now there are 2 payments on that insurance and Rushmore is charging me. They are absolutely clueless and an absolute nightmare to work with. I keep telling them, my INSURANCE has never been part of escrow, I HAVE ALWAYS had insurance and I HAVE ALWAYS PAID MY INSURANCE on that home and I have given you proof multiple times. To be completely honest I thought I was being pranked today. They kept trying to transfer me to the insurance department but their agents said it seemed he was able to be connected, but the insurance department couldn't hear him, so he gave me the number to call. So I call, and yeap, same thing, insurance department couldn't hear me, and they hung up, multiple times. Customer service is atrocious, spoke to them today and still no sight of resolution. I have wasted so much of my time and energy. I still can't believe they took out insurance on my house even after I presented them with proof of insurance TWICE. Then they went ahead and made a payment on my behalf, even though they weren't supposed to act on my behalf, that insurance was fully paid for the whole year. I am disgusted by this company. Please, please please, stay away, this is not a professional company, this is the worst of the worst. I am frankly unsure if these people are con or scam artists.

Customer service was professional and easy to deal with. Only concern was when they took my loan they never notified my insurance causing me to pay double insurance at a outrageous price. Thank the Lord it's all gonna be refunded I was told.

I would have given them no stars if possible. There is not enough I can say about this company that would make it worthy of what kind of awful customer service I have had with them over the past year.

It has taken me 8 months to get my taxes adjusted and they still cant get it correct. The county has called them two times, provided them with two stamped and signed letters and they still cant get it right. Every time they mess it up they have to do another "study" which ends up taking them 10 business days.

Do not bank with Rushmore, do not give them your money, there is literally nothing you can do when they are at fault.

Rushmore made it impossible to get my pay-off statement in under 5 business days and is most likely going to cause me to miss having this essential document in time for the closing of this property. I had to call several times and email to get anyone to even agree to try to expedite getting me the pay-off document. My primary loan on this property was through SPS and I was able to get the pay-off document instantly on their website by pushing a button. I will never do business with Rushmore...not intentionally any way.

Weighing out the pros and cons, I do not recommend Rushmore Loan Management Services and I do not believe that they conduct their business in a way that is for the customer.

Cons: Where to I start?
I have spent hours of my life I will never get back of phone time with this company.
Their processes are unreasonable, example: I will be 2 payments behind, And on this date I will be able to bring my account current.
Response: OH to avoid foreclosure (a bit extreme if you ask me) You will need to fill out an application, give us all of your financial information dating back 2 years and in 30 days we might approve a payment plan. OR, how about you don't pay anything and we modify, sure it will jack up your credit, etc etc....
Their options for getting a customer on track are not in the best interest of the customer.

THEY SOLD MY LOAN to a company that has no record of my previous payments and I am still on hold to which the call was escalated after 48 minutes because even that customer service representative apologetically explained that the entire account is in disarray, they just bought my loan 3 weeks ago.

Pros:
There are some good apples in the company which gave me some relief.
Mobile and online account is easy to navigate.

These people, who I have NEVER heard of, called and said I owe them a debt from 2017. I tried to tell this guy that it was some kind of mistake. He tried to push me into making a payment to settle this fake account. I told him I need info on how to dispute this claim because it is not on my credit report. At that point, he said so you refuse and hung up. SCAM ALERT!

1JC agent was awesome and answered all my questions and really helped me and out my mind at ease referencing two scam letters I got in the mail that I uploaded to Rushmore. She was friendly and polite! Thank you 1JC agent. (I forgot her name)

This place has to be the WORST mortgage service group on the planet. You can never reach anyone. They never return phone calls. My mortgage was just transferred to these clowns. There should be standards for mortgage service companies. They need to be held accountable for their actions.

Update: I was given two different sets of critical information on two different days by two different people. I can t wait to be rid of this company. When you can reach them you are not given correct information. It s appalling. This company needs to be investigated for their business practices.
