Worth a visit & its in a nice Yorkshire market town.
I have been to see live cinema events here. It's nice that you can get food and drink beforehand and in the interval. The seats are a bit uncomfortable though.
Rural arts is a gem in the North Yorkshire Crown, it's centre in Thirsk based in the old court House provides a quality cafe, great art exhibition and sales of hand made goods. There is also a performance space and rural arts puts on a great selection of classes and courses in arts and crafts including many children's activitys.
Tonight we went to see "instagramming the apocalypse" an act by Vincent Byron. Well worth seeing.
great venue, great resource, hitting all the right buttons. Food great, events great and management and staff very helpful, we are very lucky to have this facility in Thirsk and North Yorkshire.
Wow who would have thought an award winning contemporary Canadian singer, Ian Sherwood, would brave the elements to fly from minus 20, three feet of snow to sing to us here this week.
As a fellow Winnie ( the first name, Winifred Ruth English of Winnie's Yorkshire Delights and name of his daughter) well done to his family supporting him from afar and his inspirational work and of course in no particular order for Coxwold village hall and Rural Arts for supporting him... this global
reach is essential
Nice atmosphere. Good quality products. Friendly staff. I love this fusion of art and restoration.
Friendly Staff. Cafe is great coffee and homemade cake always good! Have a shop with local artists gifts. Held a free self care day which was really good. There is alsorts going on. Do go in and check it out for yourself.
Our first visit here, the Broccoli and Stilton soup was very nice indeed.
Always something happening every day .closed Sunday. Good website. Cafe open every day but sunday serving all home made food wonderful soups, scones, cakes etc. Workshops are all day or half day. The new booklet is out for January to June which gives all details of everything.
Lots of fun arty courses, good snacks, great gifts, great place to meet friends for a coffee, no parking, but can park in Tesco for three hours, staff helpful.
Lovely welcome, good coffee, not much space but interesting art to see.
Went with my grandson, it's his preferred barbers. For myself I don't think that they offer a quick sandpaper and polish but if you need a haircut they are fine.
Favourite resting place for tea or coffee and snacks or lunch with the most helpful staff - lots of homemade stuff, cakes, scones, jams etc. Yummmm........
Super light lunch. Bacon in BLT was so tasty. Also some fine goods in little shop where the lady on duty was just lovely and spoke for ages. Certainly go back.
Cute little gallery and cafe. Didn't stay for food but will come back.
Lovely little place. Great friendly cafe. Great crafts for all ages.
A most interesting place to visit. Always displays of local arts and crafts. High quality. Cards, silver jewellery, ceramics, glass, pottery.
Run workshops all year round of various crafts.
Lovely cafe all homemade food. Open every day but Sunday
