Warren County Board of Health Review

I am really disappointed and frustrated to get medical card for my family.
We moved from Kentucky to better city and state(Mason,OH) in Summer 2016.
I applied for medicade in health department on Angus 23th 2016. I ricived a letter after 4 months on November 17 to complete the documents. After another month on December 21 they sent another letter to verifying some things.They give us 10 days to call them. I called 2 times and leave message,they don't return my call. And i don't know what is next step.
We struggle with going to doctor and taking medication from 6 month ago that we moved. That's a shame that i ask my family to sent medicate from another country because it was cheaper.

I need to get a TB test done for my work, and this is the only place that my work will pay for it. I am always busy since I work a full time job and go to classes. They only do them on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays which is really inconvient. The last two times that I've tried to get the test done, they have had a window from 11:30-1:00 when they will not do them. The first day the lady explained that they were short on nurses and this was the cause of the timeframe, which that was a lie. The nurses go on lunch, which is insane that they get an hour and a half but okay. She did not have to lie to me. Overall, just bad service.

States it s open at 7:30 am. Waited in waiting room for 30 minutes plus until someone arrived to help.

Apply for multiple things all in one place quick easy. Parking is a joke tho.

Dr.Scott Swope and Mrs Smyth are very helpful for years, thank you for keeping me in good health all these years, anyone would be thank full for your help.

The ladies weren't very friendly overall. 1 helped with obtaining copy of husband's birth certificate. The new are so bland compared to the original, not as much information.
