Very professional service, accommodated a surprise relaxation day for my wife. She had a fantastic time and no doubt will be returning frequently.
You d easily pay double the cost for half the service elsewhere so they re well recommeded.

Today was the first time I went to Ruma and I loved the look of the salon, everyone was very friendly and adhered to Coronavirus regulations meticulously. Hannah was wonderful, she made me feel so comfortable during my consultation and explained everything in detail. I can t wait to come back!

My first visit and I must say I was very impressed with the professional, helpful and friendly service I received. The safety measures put in place for Covid appear to be very thorough and best of all I came away with a magnificent new hair style from Rachel. Many thanks and will be definitely revisiting.

Hannah is excellent, she made sure I was happy and comfortable the whole time and made what would normally be an uncomfortable experience a manageable one. The salon is very welcoming and the staff are all lovely, I shall be booking even more treatments soon. Thank you so much!

I had my appointment with Sam and she was fantastic! I did hair cut, hair dye and styling with her. She is very skilled, knows what can suit my face and offered a good consultation before beginning the process.

I have been using Jaz @Ruma for a number of years and her skill and attention to detail is 2nd to none. Her conversation is genuine and she really listens to you which is truly refreshing. Ruma is a classy serene place which is very ambient and calming and a massaging chair ensures you are as comfortable as possible. All the staff look very professional and are very friendly too. I always look forward to my visit

Had my hair done with Sam today for the first time as she'd been recommended by friends. She is so warm and welcoming which really makes the experience. Sam has got my hair to the exact colour I wanted and am so happy with it. The salon is lovely and really enjoyed the massage chair whilst my hair was being washed. I had a deep tissue back, neck and shoulder massage with Tiffany today. WOW is all I can say! She knew exactly where I needed it most and listened to me with such detail and care. I feel great, thank you Tiffany!

Absolutely wonderful service! Had my eyebrows done by Chloe and then my hair by Jasmine. Both were amazing! It was my first time at Ruma and I was a little nervous, but I was made to feel at ease as soon as I walked through the door by everyone. Left super happy with both my eyebrows and my hair and 100% will be visiting again - I ve already booked! 10/10!

Recently moved to Southampton and was looking for a salon to have my treatments done in which was proving a test as I LOVED My salon back home! I walked into Ruma and everyone was so welcoming and friendly! Chloe does the best shellac manicure I've ever had anywhere (including London) and such a sweetheart. Beautiful salon and I'm very happy I found them!

Great laser hair removal session, it is totally painless. This was my 8th and Kelly and I were saying we wished we had taking pictures before this process as you can see my hair follicles even when I had shaved my legs on the back of the thighs. 8 sessions later you can t see the, at all and I ve shaved once in the time from my 7th to my 8th. I used to shave most days. Also Kelly is lovely to chat too and the time goes so quickly. Xx

Fantastic Salon with amazing staff, always have a warm greeting. Recently booked lip fillers with Emily, a very brave embarkment on her behalf as I am hands-down the most hyper critical client anyone will have and she handled me like a star. Wonderful results and I'm over the moon!

Had a wax, best I've had in all of Hampshire to be honest as I've tried out many salons before this. Really professional, quick, clean, easy and as painless as possible. Great value for money and lovely, helpful staff. Would highly recommend & will definitely be returning.

My second visit to this salon wasn t anything like the first visit some time ago. Such a shame. Staff were all sitting around on their phones. Heard one of the hair stylist swearing whilst she was having a conversation with her customer. Very unhelpful when I wanted to book an appointment, left very dissatisfied. Will not be returning!

Highly recommend this salon. I had Sam do a tone and cut, and she was excellent. She really listened and then did exactly what I asked for and my hair looks soo nice! Plus everyone is friendly (unlike loads of salons where I feel mega self conscious) and the products they use left my hair shiny and soft.

Kelly is brilliant. Easy to talk to and very professional 5 Star service.

Chloe is amazing at what she does. I travel from Marchwood just for her service. She really is professional, offers great advice and is great at what she does.

Had my hair colour done by Ellie, she was so nice and was very helpful. She gave tips and advise for the after colour care and has recommended to some products to use to make sure my hair would look its best. I cannot recommend ruma enough! Will be back again very soon!

Having suffered from terrible shoulder pain for years, I have found the back & shoulder deep tissue massage that Tiffany gives absolutely amazing for pain relief.

Im a woose getting my brows threaded, Chloe is so gentle and makes me feel comfortable. I love the shape too and its is al always consistent

As a man that usually uses barbers, I found my cut to be just as fresh (thanks to Jasmine) but in a more luxurious setting. Great value for money too.

Tiffany was professional from start to finish. My first ever massage was fantastic and I will definitely be booking for a 2nd! My visit was finished off with a beautiful set of The Gel Bottle nails and I was really impressed with the colour and finish.

Always an excellent polite and friendly service, makes you feel relaxed and at ease - my brows always look amazing. I'm always asked what sort of shape I would like, and if I'm happy with the end result.

Really lovely salon. I was nervous about going as it s my first appointment since the Covid outbreak, but I was made to feel very comfortable and safe throughout the appointment. My stylist Sam was really lovely and friendly and had done amazing things with my hair. I will definitely be going back!

After being asked to remove my previous 2 star review I am detailing my experience at this salon. I initially booked to have botox and my experience hasn't been good. I was left with part of one eyebrow higher even after i went back for a review/top up.
After I left my review I was contacted by the salon manager.
I was offered a discounted cut and colour to remove my review (her words were I can't actually say to you remove the review but what can we do to change your mind)
This is where it went even more wrong. I have been left with an extremely uneven hair cut, 3 plus inches difference in some places. I went back to the salon to complain. The stylist, Sam, said I must have had an old fringe which was making the sides so different. I showed her a picture if my one length hair before the cut. I specifically asked for no short layers and we discussed this. I have been left with layers one side that start at my cheekbone and no layers at all the other side of my parting. I was told it's uneven due to having a side parting. I was asked where my parting sat before she started to cut.
The solution advised by the stylist was to move my parting to the centre.
I was offered another stylist but I have lost all Faith in this salon. I was given a refund for the cut and colour and having asked for some money off of my BOTOX was given a goodwill gesture.
At the hair appointment I was given a top up of botox to rectify my higher eyebrow. This did not work. I still have one higher than the other and a slightly puzzled expression.
I would not recommend this salon as having in a round about way been asked to remove my low star review I am not sure how true a reflection of the services they are. Very disappointing all round.

Lovely place to come for waxing. I only saw 2 parts(reception and one of the treatment rooms). But they were clean and the look was very modern.

The waxing was great. The therapist checked what type of wax I was used to and talked to me throughout. Would highly recommend.

My first trip to the salon, Ellie was very helpful and I was very happy with the colour and cut she did.

I really enjoyed my massage with Tiffany. She was very friendly just like the other Ruma staff. I feel lot more relaxed and do feel like a lot of stress has been taken off of my shoulders.
