The evening was just okay. Everything sounded better on the menu than it actually was. The drinks weren't that great, and our dinners were just average. We almost didn't order dessert because everything else was nothing special, but glad we did. The highlight of the meal ended up being the dessert. The Warm Valrhona Cake was delicious and almost saved the evening.

To top it all off, even though everything was just okay, it was not worth the overall cost. I don't mind spending on a gourmet meal and an enjoyable night out, but this experience did not justify the price tag.

Substandard overpriced food that most likely caters to tourists. That being said, the service was quick and friendly and I had an elderflower cocktail that wasn't bad. If you are hungry and in this part of town and this is the only place that's open, come here, otherwise go elsewhere.

Hubby had French dip and really enjoyed it, a little more aujus than most but very flavorful. The Cobb salad had tons of chicken, bacon and avocado, one of the best I have ever had, very good value for the price in NYC !!

Went for Sunday morning brunch. 10:45. Busy. Main aisleways through the dining room were packed with customers waiting for tables. It was 39 and rainy outside, but still...a detraction and distraction. They did go out of their way to accommodate my 7 month old and helped me carry my stroller downstairs to the cost check. Food was very good, but not extraordinary. Omelette Lyon and Onion soup both needed more salt to make them sing. Blueberry pancakes were delicious...light and fluffy with just the right amount of tart and sweet. Coffee needs improvement.

Had a wonderful brunch experience with my group. Every dish was exceptional and unique, while still at a very reasonable price for the area. Service was great, and even at one of their busiest times the wait was only 10-15 minutes at most.

Fantastic late night spot! For the city that never sleeps it was surprisingly hard to find a place to eat after a concert at Radio City Hall. But Quality Meats actually recommended it as their kitchen was closed. Fried artichokes were delicious and burger definitely satisfied! Quality food and fast service. Definitely recommend!

Walking by this place the salmon dish someone was eating got my attention to come here for dinner. I could tell it was good quality salmon and made just right. When we came for dinner... since my guest got the salmon, I ordered the steak. What a mistake that was. I was right about the salmon being perfect... but the steak was horrible and it cost like $50. Other things that displeased me to give it 2 stars. When I ordered the steak, I was under the impression that it came with fries... so I ordered a side of mashed potatoes. When the meal arrived, the steak came with mashed potatoes and a extra mashed potatoes. If the steak did come with mashed potatoes, and I asked for side of mashed potatoes, the server should have informed me... that my dish already comes with mashed potatoes. So now I m stuck with 2 mashed potatoes. The second thing that stood out, was the fact that they brought out bread and butter after our main dish was served. I found that strange. Add in the horrible steak, which I would call one of the worst steaks I ve ate at $50 and we end up with a 2 star review.

My husband and I were in town for the new year and my birthday. We were seated upon arrival which is always nice. Our waiter how ever had a very flat affect and was nor very engaging. I had the hangover breakfast and it was good. My husband had a burger that was good also. Not sure if it would be a go to place next time we go back.

A little bit of Paris in New York. If you are tired of New York (although this can hardly be possible) - pop into Rue 57 on the corner of 6th Ave and 57 W street and get a Parisian experience. We had such a "rude" French waiter we made have been in Paris - but he was delightful. Try and get a table on the sidewalk and imagine you are in Paris. Had a wonderful sole there - prepared the way you will get it in Paris! Order a Klaustini Place is always busy but walk-ins will get seated as well. Bon Appetite

A nice place for brunch, just blocks away from Central Park. The restaurant feels like classic old Manhattan with its high ceilings and gilded decor. The food and service are good, but the location and atmosphere are Rue 57's biggest draws. Worth checking out if you're in the neighborhood.

Tried this French style Restaurant and it didn't disappoint. French Onion Soup in the classic style was delicious. Whole meal delightful. Recommended if you are in the vicinity of 57 Street West.

A comfortable and clean bistro restaurant only 3 blocks from Hilton Midtown that opens early and has great breakfast options. I had a very tasty brioche french toast with strawberries & mascarpone and my friend enjoyed her egg white omelette. Average price for nyc and plenty of seats for breakfast on a Friday morning ~10 a.m.

For a French restaurant this food lacked taste and presentation. Sure it s casual dining, but that doesn t mean it has to be basic. The service was also just ok, I wasn t offered water upon taking a seat. The server didn t check in on me, but did so for other guest. Overall the food is overpriced for the lackluster quality.
