I've stayed many times here before but the was our first stay at a Hotel since March. We were a little a anxious but felt very safe with all the precautions that Rudding Park had taken. Fabulous rooms, great food and outstanding service, what more can you ask for. Will definitely be back soon

Good food in the Clocktower restaurant but what you'd expect for the price. Service staff attentive and on the ball without being in your face all the time. Thankfully we didn't feel hurried like in some places.

I can not fault this place one bit, having stayed here a couple of times now. from the moment we booked in to the moment we booked out we were treated with the up most respect. Every staff member is always happy to help.

SPA SUITE
we have stayed in the sauna room and the steam room suites. I could not fault them on bit. the rooms are cleaned to the highest standards, the beds are comfy.

SPA
Wow I am a mans man and me and my wife to be took out various treatments. Each treatment were amazing.

Clocktower
I can not put in words to describe the food here. It is to die for. The food was amazing cooked to perfection. Presentation of the food 11 out of 10.

All I can do is thank the staff at Rudding park for a relaxing and joyful time I have spent there with my Mrs.

We went to rudding park for my mums birthday and it was more amazing than I could imagine
We had a spa stay and dinner
We also ate lunch at the spa
All staff and facilities were perfect
Unfortunately 1 star less for the clock tower restaurant which let it down
Food was ok but nothing felt special and staff were friendly but slow

Overrated. Interior is nice but nothing extraordinary for UK. Towels were not fresh and repeatedly had to call for fresh towel and all of them had odd smell. Spa room without working steam room. They offered repair for the morning of my check out. Should offer spa services instead. Food at the restaurant is not only nasty bland and odd but extremely expensive even if you half board you will be required to pay for it partially.

Loved it! Pure Luxury, nothing too much trouble. Food in the Clock house restaurant is really nice, was included as part of our Spa break. We went last year for our anniversary and birthday, liked it that much we booked again this year.

Last minute get away with the wife. Enjoyed a brilliant meal with a beautiful bottle of wine and the live music was magical. The all you can eat full English breakfast buffet was excellently done. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to staying here again.

Had a belated birthday spa, meal and stay, somewhere to go for a special occasion. Check-in was excellent with a complementary upgrade and bottle of bubbly for my birthday. Covid restrictions in the spa were well managed but it was busy particularly the pool so had to wait at times. Evening meal was great, it's too expensive to go just for a meal if we weren't already staying. Breakfast was a big let down, had a late breakfast but poor service meant we had to ask multiple times for things like cutlery, orange juice, where to get cereal, could we have some toast. Nothing about the service was proactive and you get to the point where you feel guilty for asking for something else that isn't there, probably a symptom of the end of service but at the price you shouldn't have a different experience.

On arrival through to checkout, the service and experience in the hotel was excellent. Staff go above and beyond to make your stay feel special. Also, given the current climate, staff also took extra measures to ensure the safety of guests. The room was lovely and we had access to the rooftop heated pool that was very relaxing. This is a really great place to get away and escape. Just so relaxing with all the little touches that you would want. The food topped it off. Well worth a visit

Was bought the supper and spa as a gift . Beautiful two course meal in the Clockhouse restaurant then full use of the spa facilities. Definitely going back. The infinity pool on the rooftop spa the highlight for us. Next time going to stay in the hotel looks really nice.

A lovely hotel experience.

A lovely hotel experience.

I was disappointed with the spa. It was extremely busy and felt like a public leisure centre with white robes and flip-flops strewn all over. The roof top spa was do busy, nowhere to sit, a room had a group of women with alcohol. I was looking forward with my friend, who was still mourning a
loved one, to a relaxing spa experience.
I searched various spa hotels having visited ones in the north east and Rudding Park's spa, although excellent facilities, was poor with organisation .... limiting numbers.
We were limited to 3.30-5.30 however we were told at 3.00 we could use it then.
How do you monitor the roof top facilities?
There was no staff awareness in that location.
All the staff we came in contact with were very professional and polite. Thank you.

We stayed during the week for one night for my husband's birthday. We were greeted on arrival and all staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Our room was lovely. The bed (a super king) was very comfortable. The room offered plenty of mod cons. The bath tub was great.

We dined in the Clocktower restaurant. Food was a little bland especially for the price tag and didn't live up to the a la'carte experience. Same with the breakfast. Hot food arrived quickly but portions were small and bland.

Overall this was a lovely hotel and a relaxing, enjoyable break.

Fabulous time on Spa day. Food at lunch very well presented and tasty. Treatment beautifully relaxing and left you feeling destressed. Facilities were excellent and very clean. Staff polite, friendley and helpful.

We stayed here for the 2 night New Year's Eve package this year (nights of the 31st and 1st).

Bedroom allocated was overlooking the new Spa complex they're building, which we were unhappy with given we'd booked and paid in full as soon as reservations opened. That said, the lady at reception was extraordinarily helpful, and rectified the matter forthwith, so as far as service recovery goes, it doesn't get much better than that.

We opted for the Black Tie Ball and dinner at Rudding Hall, which was absolutely the right option for us. Food was excellent, and whilst the portions were small, the ratio of meat/fish to everything else, meant it was more than enough to satiate our rumbling tums. Dining was communal, so we were sat on a table with 8 other guests, an experience that was made unforgettable owing to some extremely good company in the form of Bill and Mary next door. The band 'Checkmate' were absolutely on point, playing a good selection of classics through the ages, from a widereaching range of genres; seemingly everyone there knew nearly all of them.

Despite me and my partner being the youngest unaccompanied people there by quite some years (we're 24 and 32), and a slightly bizarre moment of realisation part way through the evening that my partner was the only non-white person (who wasn't staff) there, we didn't feel out of place one bit, and everyone we met and spoke with was an absolute pleasure to do so.

The New Year's Day Jazz Brunch was the only real disappointment. Yes, there was live Jazz playing, but it wasn't in the room we were seated in, so it was somewhat of a moot point for it to be so. The food itself was fine (although my other half's pancakes were described as being 'very chewy'), however we couldn't help but feel it was a needlessly expensive addition, offering the exact same dining options as the already brilliant (and inclusive in the overnight stay price) breakfast at the Clocktower, albeit served in another part of the hotel. Not at all worth the extra money; in our humble opinion at least.

Bad brunch option aside, the sumptuous accommodation, beautiful surroundings, friendly and attentive staff, and the New Year's Eve celebration itself (and Bill and Mary!), more than made up for it. We've really enjoyed our stay so far, and we will be coming back again. A very special treat indeed.

Excellent 3 day stay. The service was great, the quality of food was exceptional. The atmosphere is very country house stay, with a roaring log fire in reception. The facilities are first class.
