Everything was fine up until the end, when me and my family ordered 3 desserts. After waiting 10 minutes trying to get our server's attention we ordered said desserts. Half an hour later I had asked two people to just box them up, then to just scrap it and being us the check. Upon which they were still on the check, but not ready, and we had to leave. So we paid for three desserts we never received. Will never be back!

This will be my last time at this restaurant. I have found myself eating out with a dog in a baby carriage almost at my table. I am sorry, I do not eat or sleep with dogs! Isin't there a state or county health law about having a dog where food is served? Very disappointed!

The food could have been seasoned a bit better...the grits were pretty bland...the shrimp were not seasoned really at all....the croissants were very good...a bit too much honey for my taste and extremely sweet...the house made ranch and honey mustard salad dressings were excellent! I very much enjoyed my side salad...overall, not a bad meal...we would come back

Terrific restaurant with an island flare, down to the palm shaped paddles hanging from the ceiling! It has a lovely ambiance with lots of seating and great customer service. Must try is Deb's chicken salad.

Hot Bacon salad dressing!!!!!!!! I loved the Hot Bacon salad dressing. They have numerous salads that compliment the Hot Bacon salad dressing. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. Mine was great, I ordered the Hot Bacon salad dressing that came with their house salad and grilled chicken. When you visit, the Hot Bacon salad dressing is great. All of their salad dressings are made in-house. I almost forgot the Honey Buttered Croissants are light and fluffy. They taste amazing (not as good as the Hot Bacon salad dressing).

Good selection of varied foods. All our group of 4 chose was delicious. Waitress well versed in drinks and dishes available and how they are flavored.

Slow slow slow. Staff also was disconnected or disinterested and kept bringing wrong plates to persons at our table. Six people at table took 2 hours for 3 salads, two plates chicken tenders, one prime rib. Chef salad tasted like they used low end sandwich meat. Won't be back.

Food is always delicious! I would be very very careful if you have food allergies or intolerances. My family and I have had three instances in the past couple of years where there was cross-contamination and in
accurate following directions about foods.

My wife and I shared a chicken dish, and a dessert. Wonderful food and service.

Rucker John's is simply the best, the food is always consistent, the service and staff is top notch. We love sitting at the bar and meeting new friends everytime we dine!

Rucker Johns is my favorite restaurant in Wilmington! They are consistently amazing, and the service is always terrific! Try the Black Jack Special!!!

Small menu but has great choices. Our waitress was very nice and simply amazing! The food was delicious and came out in reasonable time.

Great food, but best part is the croissant that comes with the salad. If you are not getting a salad, order a basket of them as an appetizer. Freaking amazing!

The food is consistently enjoyable. I love how the local crowd always returns. There's a lot of regulars there. It seems as though the bar crowd enjoys the place as much as the food lovers do. I've never seen the place not busy. But I never have to wait very long for a table either.

In love with this place! This is always where me and my girlfriends go grab a lunch together! Always have the sweetest waitress, and amazing food! Best salads in town, hands down!

Food was not as good as the service. Teriyaki is not a substitute for BBQ on chicken. At least the crab cakes were good.

Meh. I ordered their special tonight- a Caribbean jerk fish. There was no taste at all and it tasted a bit overdone and chewy. My kids enjoyed their meals, though. Also, wine seemed a bit old, as if I was drinking from a bottle that had been opened several days prior.

Average place similar to Fridays or ruby Tuesdays. Nothing special but not horrible

Always enjoy my lunch at Rucker John's. The atmosphere, service and food is good. Love the Rucker John's House Salad with Honey mustard and Hot bacon dressing.

Can be pricy depending on what you get, but a great clean place - great for families.

Food was delicious and the croissant rolls are out of this world. They taste like doughnuts! delicious!

OMG THE CRAB FINGERS!!!! Delicious awesome food and an all around great place.

So I've always had a great experience, until the last time I went for my daughter's birthday, it took almost an hour and a half to get our food, but the manger came over and have my daughter a free birthday Sunday and ended up giving us our whole meal for free! So they quickly redeemed themselves!

Good cool place..Will mighty fine waiter. Appetizer was spectacular.

Really damn good food at normal prices. There are many different dishes. The staff is really nice and so attentive. Really a madness.

We were also passing through and stopped there because it looked nice and did not regret it!

This place just gets better and better! If we lived here, this place would have us at least once a week. No wait for seating, loved the ambience, and our server, Jayme, was out of this world! She was sweet, informative, and at the end of dinner when we were gathering our to go orders...she realized our chili had the wrong toppings and changed it out before I even noticed it. Now that's amazing customer service! The food and drinks were awesome. If I could rate more stars, I would!

Excellent service! Prime rib n RJ salad w honey mustard n hot bacon dressing. Food is always at top what ever you order off the menu. Seating inside and out. I was inside, social distancing guidelines followed. Rjrocks.

Service and food is good, they have a great variety on their menu, French fry circles were not cooked well they were pretty greasy.

A top site for delicious American food. It has a good interior. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I liked.

My friend ordered the prime rib and was able to pick it up while sitting in the car. Was able to stretch a meal to two different meals. it was a great time just sitting in the car while waiting for meal

Great food. Disappointed I missed the chicken mushroom soup! One of my absolute favorite things to eat there.

The experience is always great Audrey was our server and she is wonderful and very knowledgeable . I suggest anyone that's never been there should at least try it once .

Oh my gosh...way good food. Sat on the porch outside and had pork chops and baked potatoe. My guy had salad and a hot croissant and a wonderful chicken dish. Very worth the price we paid and killer good service. Cant wait till go back..oh and i better not forget they had live music in the bar area.
