Great food. Service is always good. Average prices.

Tbe staff was very busy but they lost my meal ticket in the kitchen had my family waiting excessive long time at the table. Oh yeah my family were the only black family at that time in the restaurant.

The crab dip appetizer was served hot and was delicious. The waitress was very attentive and never let the drinks get empty. When the entrees came the pasta was lukewarm at best and very bland. The spinach salad was decent but when it comes with HOT bacon dressing I would like the dressing to not be served as a solid congealed mass. Not worth the wait

Generally sit on the patio because they allow u to bring your dig. Food is good and a nice variety. Enjoy their salad especially. They even had a band playing last time we were there.

The food at Rucker Johns never disappoints us. It is always delicious and keeps us coming back. The service and staff is very polite and attentive.

The food is barely on the average side. The bartender didn't know how to make a white Russian, which was the drink on special. I asked for some more coffee liquor to put in it since it tasted like watered down milk and vodka and when I got the bill I was charged for a double shot plus the drink. So my on the rocks size drink that was on "special " cost me 15 dollars. The rolls are the only thing to go back for.

Coleslaw dressing has changed for the worse. Don't list sliced potatoes as french fries. Waitress was very pleasant. Food. Not so much.

Nit bad food but not great, but you pay for good food so it makes the whole thing taste worse. For a long time it was the only place to eat a nicer meal on this side.of town, now you have a lot better choices to work with. And you should.

My family and I were seated within 5 minutes... good start. After that, NOTHING! We sat at the table for 20 minutes and we got nothing. No acknowledgement, no "hey", nothing. We appreciate it!!

Hands down the best restaurant I've ever been to. I ordered a Carolina burger, baked potato and side salad... All in which were the best I've ever tasted anywhere... And our waitress Audrey was amazing. As well as all of the other staff. So clean, friendly and accommodating! As a bonus.. I was also given a complimentary brownie for my birthday which was to die for. If I could give more stars, I would! We will absolutely be back here first thing next time we come into town to visit!

Food is normally really good, I've had the occasional, or rare meal I didn't enjoy, but normally it is really good food at a reasonable price. Of course the croissants are ridiculously tasty.

1 word: Croissants. What they do with honey and butter on those croissants should probably be illegal.

Best food in monkey junction. Great beer specials on Saturdays. This is our go to spot when we want great food for a great price.

Our waitress was not attentive at all... When she was asked to do anything, it was with pure attitude. Had the gratuity not been included, she would've recieved, penny for her thoughts (still left additional to let her know that WE actually tip). OAN: The food was great as usual.

As always, rucker johns provided great food and service. We had shrimp, mahi mahi , and crab dip. All was wonderfully prepared and our waitress was awesome. We have been coming here for years and are never disappointed.

Hit or miss these days. Their croissants are amazing, but they seem to have a really hard time cooking fish...

We love this place. The seared tuna was excellent and my wife's mixed green salad with tuna was also great. The food is always great and the service is excellent.

We just love this place $2 beer on Monday half-price nachos on Wednesday Tuesday night music in the bar Friday or Saturday or Sunday just great food friendly wonderful servers

I love Rucker Johns. I used to be able to always bring friends/family here from out of town with and guarantee they'd get great food and great service. Sadly both have been lacking the last few times I've visited. I'm still giving it 5 stars because every single time after talking to a manager they've MORE than made it right. I have never left dissatisfied.

This place was recommended by lots of people so i couldn't wait try it. We went for my husband's 30th Birthday dinner with some friends. Unfortunately, my family and friends and our kids didn't like the food. The cheese grits my daughter and husband ordered were good but then rest of the plates were unseasoned. The atmosphere was nice. There was live music. It was my husband's birthday so they brought him a Birthday Desert. Which was a delicious chocolate cake with ice cream

The food is magnificent!!!! I highly recommend the shrimp and grits! Yummy!

salad was horrible. their croutons taste like stale bread. the food isn t horrible but it s not amazing either - it s edible. fettuccine alfredo might be the only good thing on the menu. the chicken tenders were an absolute mess

Always do a good job with fresh salads and fresh ingredients.

Food was great. Service was terrible on our last visit. 2 hours to eat diner. Waited on food most of the time. Server used words like "sorry it took a minute to bring your food". ??? Have been going to RJs for 20 years here and emerald isle. You get one more chance. By the way no manager ever check on our table.

We went late on a Tuesday night because the reviews were good. Great service, we were at quickly and all orders were accurate. The food, however, is subpar. I got the grilled porkchop and it tasted dry and bland, the kind you'd expect from a diner. My father got an overpriced steak that only subtly bragged its whiskey marinade. A $25 steak shouldn't need A1. The best part was the fries, deserving of the name RJ fries. Overall, overpriced for the lack of taste

We don't visit this place often. Not sure why. Tonight was great. We all enjoyed our meals. Service was excellent. Live music was a pleasant plus.

Came with a party of 9. Great customer service. Full bar with great specials. Food was exquisite, and their prices are very affordable. Beats olive garden on price, food and service. They also have nice outside dining if your looking for a nice view.

The wait staff was amazing, highly knowledgeable of items that aren't the same daily and very nice. They were quite accommodating to all of our requests and needs. I absolutely recommend this restaurant and will definitely eat here again.

Atmosphere in Rucker John's is relaxed yet slightly upscale. I ordered a side salad with the best ranch dressing in Wilmington and some pretty good pork chops, loaded backed potatoe and broccoli. Fairly simple. My wife and two small kids enjoyed their food also and we all for a reasonable price. It was pretty cool that they were decorated for the holiday and playing awesome live Christmas Music. The wife and kids loved it. If you're looking for some other than seafood! Change it up with Rucker Johns.

Can't find anything to complain about. Steak sandwich was banging.
