Roxy Theatre Review

Saw THE RAT PACK LOUNGE. GREAT intimate seating or gallery seating, if u like. The show was FANTASTIC. Deano was my favorite (Sean Salazar will go places!) But ALL OF THE CAST: Chad Collins, Dwight Robinson, Lauren Mitchell & Ryan Guerra did a great job of singing (and almost dancing, as Dwight put it). The band was outstanding: Luvine Elias Jr, Joseph Segovia & Bill Gowen. The sound & lighting great, as well. There's a bar for drinks. EVERYONE friendly!! Will go again & you should, too!

I went in for a musical of Edgar Allen Poe's poetry & stories. Even though it isn't a large space, they'd put the cast on mics and it just did not sound good. I lost some of the dialogue and the harmonies weren't well balanced.

We thought Lady of Burlesque was a good show with the exception of one part. When the audience participated by being detectives, the prosecutor (the guy doing the lights upstairs) added on weird and oftentimes offensive comments to their questions (lines). To one woman, who was pregnant, he said I got you pregnant and to another one said something about smoking marijuana behind the building. There were many other offensive comments like that and it seemed to go on way longer than necessary. It didn t add to the show and although we are not easily offended, were so by those unnecessary and rude comments that obviously were not part of the play. It made the audience uncomfortable. Other than that, it was a great show!

Bad acting theater! Wow. The lights and stage are good....and that was about it.

Just saw their production of Sweeney Todd and it was absolutely amazing! The cast was amazing and the theater was small which made it feel much more intimate. Wonderful venue!

Just watched Evil Dead The Musical and loved it! The actors were great, the show was hysterical and how could you not love a bloody splash zone!

Had an amazing time seeing a small show here! I'm so glad I found it and hope to come back for future events :)

Went to their My Fair Lady show and they all put on an excellent show and performance!! Way to go guys and gals!! Would come again for another show

An extraordinary performance into the human condition. I really felt the emotion of the characters and made the audience apart of the show. Very entertaining, we will return for another show for sure!

I went there a few nights ago with my girlfriend to see Miss Abagails Guide to Dating, Mating, and Marriage and it was quite an enjoyable experience. The venue itself is very intimate, perfect for dates, and the staff is extremely warming. All seating is good seating, the lights and the vibe are calming, and there is a bar with some beverages like soda, wine, and beer. There is 360 degree seating and the actors will interact with the audience too. It is neat! This is the place to go. I will be back for more shows for sure, either by myself or with my girlfriend. I loved it.

I also just want to say the performance I saw that night was very enjoyable as well. It was funny, it was cute, and the interactions with the audience had my stomach jumping with laughter (and embarassment when my girlfriend and I were in the spotlight). Kudos to the actors who played Paco and Miss Abagail. It is definitely a performance I would love to see again!

Great little theater with a home feel. Came for the first time last night to the open mic / karaoke and it felt very welcoming. I will definitely be back.

It's very small which makes it fun to watch shows in, however your kinda squeezed together and the chairs aren't very comfortable. Overall alright through and Avenue Q was great.

Horrible show, Rat Pack Lounge. Bad casting, elementary at best. The Theater was nice for what it is.

"Our Fair Lady ", excellent cast; Shawn and the Lady gets 3 Bravo's; They were exceptional excellent. The other casts members were excellent as well.

I saw their live production of Rocky Horror Picture Show! It was amazing. Everyone is so talented and really made the night so fun!

Love it!! Rocky Horror Show was amazing!! I wish they sold memberships because I would buy one for my wife and I instantly. We re going to see the Evil Dead next, can t wait!

A bit on the small side. But offered refreshments and good sound and lighting.

We saw a Christmas Carol and several of the cast did outstanding jobs. Kudos!

They were super friendly and super fun. The space is a little small, but they totally make it work!

Great production, professional delightful acting. Gabriella actress & partner were really good. At least 7 of the young folks were really great in their roles. Thoroughly enjoyed the entire presentation and I will share with others!! Enjoyed so much!!.

Avenue Q was absolutely hilarious. Laughed the entire way through. Everyone's performance was great and the characters flow well. Cute!

Loved the intimate feeling of this theater. We went her for Peter Pan . We expect to be regulars!

I purchased tickets to see Evil Dead and 2 days before the show I was sent an email about it being cancelled due to one of the main actors not being able to preform. So I sent an email asking for my money back since I was only visiting Texas and I had other things planned for other days so I would not have been able to attend a rescheduling. The next day I was given a call and informed them about my situation but they said they do not give refunds. Which is not on their website and it was not something on my part that hindered me from attending. I told the rep I didnt understand how I am being charged for something that is out of my control and is a problem on their part not mines but they refuse to see how what I was saying made sense. So in the end I had to call my bank to dispute the charges which is upsetting. I wish I could tell you about the show but all I can tell you is customer service is garbage.

The seating here is great! Super close and clear view of the stage no matter where you're sitting. I've been to this theater on a multitude of occasions and I am always so surprised by the fantastic talent they've managed to cast for their shows.

Went to watch Avenue Q and it was a huge hit! I wasn t expecting to laugh as hard as I did! The play is interactive, and being that it s a smaller venue, the actors can make it more of a personalized experience!
The only complaint was it was really hot inside during the play. Other than that, I will definitely be back!

Great casting, those stage managers and tecs can really pull off a lot. And they make it a fun atmosphere for the audience

I saw a wonderful play, I felt like I had front row seats I will definitely go there again

Saw "Chicago" at the Roxie with my husband (who was expecting to be as bored as he was at the movie) and he was blown away by the much faster-paced story, the live band, the energy and talent of all of the performers. We will definitely see as many shows at the Roxie as we can.

This is a really great community theater. I highly recommend it to anyone! Small venue, but very high quality!

Very amateur community theater. Theater is cramped. Theater not user-friendly for handicapped people. Music too loud for singer volume.

Lovely little theatre with lots of great talent involved in all their productions. Anything they perform is a blast. Sweeny Todd was a treat and so far my favorite show. Look forward to many more and recommend this place to anyone, so much heart goes into their work.

It's a small and quaint venue. I have been there more than once and have enjoyed the performances! This last visit it's seems like air conditioning wasn't working so well...too stuffy inside. However, Rocky Horror Picture Show was a blast.

While I wasn't able to watch a show in account of covid, it was a warm welcome.
Nice and cozy and great drinks.
I can't wait to watch a live show here,new regular
