Good and great service. Went here tonight for a friend's birthday (15 people, so a potential headache for a server) and our server was incredibly patient and helpful. She even came outside afterward to take a group photo of us.
If I wasn't already sold on the food (which I was; I recommend either the cowboy or the elvis burgers), I would have been sold on the service.
The food was fresh and amazing. We had the salmon omelet and the omelet with the bacon ( can t remember name) which was not your traditional fatty bacon. Thick cut, meat and not fat- less grease. The food is so savory, there is no need to ruin it with extra salt or pepper because the fresh herbs seals it. Go to the joint and start salivating reading the menu.
Excellent salmon omelet. I would not recommend ordering anything to drink. It was $4.50 for a cup of tea. Ridiculous
Fancy place. Mondays are all day happy hour prices. Very tasty small plates.
Easy vibe, patio can get plenty of sun, food is always good, service is pretty consistent and good regardless of server.
It's always fine but nothing special. Chairs need replacing. Service good.
We came here on a quiet midweek afternoon prior to the dinner crowd, and had an excellent late afternoon lunch. We ordered a Guacamole ($13) which was outstanding and in a very large wonderful portion, along with a Steak Salad ($19) and a Salmon entree ($26). The steak and the fish were perfectly cooked, and we enjoyed our meal immensely. The bar also provided perfectly poured margaritas. Service was attentive but not intrusive, the entire experience would be well worth repeating, and we will! Highly recommended!
I had dinner with a couple of family members for the first time this evening. It was my first time. I'm visiting Sacramento this week from Colorado. Our expectations were high and we were disappointed. The location convenient enough, plenty of parking, the outside of the restaurant was well decorated and lit up, I was greeted as I entered the restaurant, our waitress was professional and explained things well but didn't introduce herself to us, our meals came in about 10 minutes, were served hot, but basically none of the 3 of us really liked our meals - salmon was kinda dry and not too tasty, pork chop looked nice but was kinda dry and not delicious, and my baby back BBQ ribs were overcooked, dry and crispy!, and our entrees were all overpriced. If I lived here I would not come back. Why should I?
The sangria is perfect. I'm tipsy already. Also, the garlic fries and LDR burger were great. Our server was very nice as well, and checked on us often.
Up beat though a bit loud. Good and service very good
Everything was delicious. Fried brussel sprouts were awesome.
My long time friend and I went to brunch today & it was delicious. I recommend this restaurant to all of my friends!
I've eaten here 6 or 7 times the food is always good often with a bit of something different like a shaved brussel sprouts salad or a a build your own burger. Unfortunately the service can be spotty.
Everything was great! Nice atmosphere, good service, great food, decent price! I'll go again. :-)
We came to this place for dinner. my friend recommended this restaurant. Well, it was very successful. the staff members were so friendly and we felt fantastic. The meal was yummy. We loved this restaurant very much and we shall definitely come back again. Recommended.
My granddaughter loves this place!
I call it the $40 hamburger place....two hamburgers ......they are great.....and to please my granddaughter it worth it......atmosphere is pleasant....good service
Great place for happy hour. Food is good and drinks are too.
This is the food experience you ve been wanting you re whole life. The staff and chefs are entertaining, the food is unbelievably good and the experience is hands down amazing.
Whenever I'm in the area, this is where I like to get small bites paired with a glass of wine at the bar. Mac and cheese is super yummy... hamburgers are yummy... tacos are yummy... everything is quite yummy. I don't think I've ever had anything bad on their happy hour or main menu.
The food is decent but it is nothing to write home about. There are a lot of great restaurants in Sacramento now and at this price point there are better options. I will go back but this will not usually be my first choice.
Very pricy. The happy hour portions were terribly small.
Special new years menus. Wrong order , gave us someone else's. Fixed after a while but then Spilled my drink on my table and down my leg. Wasn't the big deal, problem was the food just wasn't good at all. Burger over cooked and frys slathered with garlic and drowned in oil. Horrific we couldn't taste anything else on our plates after a bite of them. Told them of the issue that it seems they over cooked them then decided to make them moist with seasoning. Which failed. I'm concerned that a restaurant of their caliber or so stated would be so lack luster and un caring of the customer concern for the items. They declined to fix it due to how swamped they were and tried to offer something that would come out quicker. No thanks. Damage was already done.
My wife's steak was all fat. Hard to cut and wayyy over done
Medium rare was burned. Then the collar greens were flavorless and looked like canned spinach. This really shocked us and their was no turning the meal around. Since we barely started we walked out without finishing and went to Ruth's. Luckily they had an open table. Neither I nor my wife's family shall return after this incident .
Amazing food and a wonderful atmosphere. Will fill any foodies craving and expectations. 10/10
Great service. Very attentive and answered all our questions. Nice diverse menu. In our visit they had a nice "Happy Hour" menu of small plates. Mac n cheese, and shrimp tacos were very good. Nice mix of beers and full bar. Parking lot adjacent made parking a breeze and free. Outdoor seating was nice as we had a beautiful summer night but lighting outside adjacent shops was a little distracting.
A solid brunch place with a nice patio. Good breakfast items.
DJ Rockalot performed at Roxy when a client bought the place for a night and I can tell you it was money well spent as the staff does an awesome job at making events there magical!
Good quality farm to fork restaurant. Grass fed local meats. Friendly efficient staff.
Excellent service. Wonderful flavors. Would go there again.
One of our favorite restaurants. Everything is great!
Good food, great service, with a fun atmosphere. Loud but able to to have a conversation.
Great food, friendly staff, and a very nice atmosphere. Had a great brunch here and already can't wait to be back!
Roxy rocks! Great salads, perfectly done Salmon, great staff. A winning combi ation
Good drink and good specials for happy hour. The chairs at the high tops were ask wobbly though. I want sure they would hold us, and there were none to swap them out with. None collapsed, so we were good, but still, not comfortable. There is also outdoor seating.
Had the Chilean Sea Bass, alright but over cooked. A tad dry. Good service & beverages.
Staff was very considerate and attentive in this post-pandemic world. Food was above average, but drinks were great.
Awesome selection of meals for lunch and dinner. Lovely environment and nice staff.
Love Roxy! The best part is they own where the food comes from. Truly farm to fork!!
Great place; has good furniture, clloth nappkins and great food.
Nice place, attentive staff. food is good and fair priced.
The staff is so nice and helpful. The food is tasty. The donut holes were a little disappointing. They were warm, not hot, and on the hard side which was unfortunate. The marathoner breakfast was good. I really enjoyed the walnut wheat pancakes. I would ask to put the fruit compote on the side next time.
They were very accommodating as one person was in a wheelchair. I had a burger and fries, and it was very good. Everyone liked the food. Will be back.
Always excellent food and service. Gluten free options available, servers are knowledgeable. Meal-sized salads, and other fare.
This is one of the only places where you're truly going to enjoy the FarmtoFork Movement.
I love this place . We went there for brunch . The food as usual was perfect . Dogs were allowed outside . So my puppy loved it and he met a new puppy friend
I really enjoy the food and especially the drinks at Roxy tonight. The service was too notch, they checked in religiously. The drinks on happy hour were divine and just as great as the drinks not on happy hour. Best of all the servers checking in with us multiple times, kept the water coming and always checked in with a smile. I highly recommend checking this place out. I wish I would have taken more picture but the food, drinks, and company were so good I didn't have time! Thank you Roxy for such a great experience.
This is a very nice restaurant. The food is great and our waiter was a really nice, considerate man. We were a group of 8 & he made sure that everything was well taken care of.
I had the grilled salmon on mashed potatoes & tried the macaroni & cheese, both soooo delicious. My salmon dish was cooked just as ordered, grilled just enough on the outside but tender & moist on the inside. But next time i will order my own macaroni & cheese, not just sampling, ummm ummm good!!!
Unfortunately this place has gone down hill. My husband and I used to love their happy hour and meals in general. Sounds like they got a new chef and now everything is a bit tasteless and very greasy. Used to be our go to spot. We also noticed a price increase. Sad to lose one of our favorite spots.
Wonderful food from a higher level restaurant with no dress code. Delicious food. Had the lamb burger, zucchini chips, mixed salad with vinegreatte, tried bonbons, and fruit cobbler (berry).
I have eaten at the Roxy once and will definitely return soon. I thought the service was good, and even better, the food was excellent. Moreover, how many restaurants in town serve wild salmon, grass-fed beef and range-fed chicken. In this restaurant, you don't have to sacrifice taste for health. The house cabernet was good too.
Great service, love the restuarant and food was excellent
Great atmosphere. Try the fully customizable burgers!
Happy hour appetizers were great, we got the street tacos, the beef and veggie skewers, the zucchini chips and BBQ shrimp. The reason I gave 3 instead of 5 stars is because we drank our cocktails and the entire caraf of water. The server never checked and we never got a refill.
Comfortable seating accommodations for a party of 6, with good service. We ordered from the lunch menu and found the food to be well prepared, with fresh ingredients and very tasty. Will go back again.
The facility is nice. Two waiters wanted to take our order. Waited < 25 mins for our meal. Acoustics are poor.. this place is noisy. Meal was delicious.
I was excited to find out that Roxy was serving breakfast. A great way to start my morning! Wonderful food and wonderful service
Nice place. Good seating. Menu is small but very good. The sea bass special was delicious. The half rack of ribs was huge and well prepared, sauce was a little spicy but good. Coffee was hot. Great service.
Awesome! Staff and food are great and the prices are reasonable!
Very enjoyable semi upscale Anerican Cusine. Had the pan seared salmon ... absolutely excelent.
My husband and I went here for dinner on Thanksgiving Eve; was a very disappointing experience. The special was sold out; two of the Entrees were sold out, our bread was never delivered; finally when our meals arrived, my husband asked for bread. Food is overpriced for the quality.
Amazing food and great atmosphere. They have an extended porch with heaters to keep you warm while you dine at the restaurant. They follow the covid 19 rules and are open to the public which is a breath of fresh air when everything is forced to be take out.
Nice ambiance, friendly staff, great food. I went to the restaurant near closing time and the food was impeccable. The seafood bowl was just amazing. Lighting isn't good for pictures and driving there is the slightest bit toilsome. But wow such a gem .
Disappointing. Tried first time yesterday. Interior nice. Service good. Food overpriced for the quality and quantity. I had steak salad and just a few pieces of steak, but two large wedges of romaine, couple slices radish, blue cheese dressing. Less romaine, more other stuff would have been better. Celebrating a friend's birthday, which I mentioned several times, but nothing done. Not even a candle in the dessert. Won't go again.
Good food and great service. Ambiance just OK (feels a little like a chain restaurant).
good solid casual moderate priced restaurant. the modern cowboy atmosphere is great . when they open the front wall, the entire restaurant becames an outdoor bistro. the food is delicious - new american comfort food, with a western twist. steaks are the
I ve eaten here at least 15 times over the last few years. The food quality always brings me back. It also has a great menu.
It would be 5 stars if two things were more consistent. Portion sizes and service. Service is never bad, but sometimes lacking. Portion sizes sometimes vary visit to visit. I like to know if I m ordering the same salad, for example, it s approximately the same size. The steak salad is a favorite, but the kids steak had more steak at 1/2 the price.
I enjoyed their egg benedicts, a classic breakfast item with their own little twist. I actually prefer their egg benedicts over the ones made on English muffins. One of the eggs was poached for too long, so I didn't get the satisfying ooze when I cut into the egg, but the other one was spot on. Overall, very good food and excellent service. :)
Nice setting and the lamb burger was great too. I have been a handful of times and have always enjoyed the food.
