Awesome place to rent Kayaks single, double or fishing.. stand up paddle boards at decent prices.. I gave 4 stars only because the parking sucks and the porta potties are very stinky and nasty... other than that we had a Blast...

People were very nice. Ran out of single kayaks free upgrade to single fishing kayak. Parking lot is very small. Parked under the bridge and walked. Price is in line with others.

This place has very good and clean equipment. Their kayaks have backrests and are well maintained. The staff is always supportive. The place is hidden away and parking can get hairy later in the day but its totally worth it. Look out for coupons on their website.

These people failed to accommodate easy changes. We wished to swap a double kayak with two single kayaks and they refused despite availability and us finding another couple wishing to swap their two single kayaks with our double. Absolutely absurd. They insulted us over their radios with us right there listening. Wasn't surprised how horribly operated everything was and probably reflects the intellect of management. They seemed overwhelmed and stressed over easy tasks. I've been in combat and stayed more calm and collected than this team who struggled to manage parking of two dozen cards.

Best place to paddle on Town Lake/Lady Bird Lake.
Parking isn t great, but this is Austin. Parking sucks everywhere.

During these COVID times, they are also very on top of safety precautions. Mask required from your time in line up until you get on the water.

Loved the music playing. Enjoyed the price and the view of the city. Overall though it's your typical canoe renting experience. Nothing more. Nothing less. Row into the wind on your way out. It will make your return trip easier.

What a blast! Absolutely loved this place! Everyone was really helpful and caring. I came a bit before 9am on Sunday and it worked perfect. As we were coming back at 10:30am the lines were FULL! Definitely recommend coming early. Great prices, they don t offer military discount on weekends. I used the SUP and it was so much fun.

I ve been going to the Rowing Dock for years and it s always a great experience! The prices are very reasonable (only $20 for a double kayak!) and the staff is always very friendly. The location couldn t be better with incredible views of the Austin skyline and the Westlake hills. A must-do for anyone visiting Austin!

Great service, awesome time. The employees were so patient with us. A friend was a bit scared to go out in the water and they helped us in and out of a few canoes and kayaks until we were all comfortable. Will definitely visit again. Good place to visit while in Austin.

Nice people. Have a great selection of kayaks. There's a rental place right across the lake, which have a fewer selection, and kind of a bad attitude when you ask them to get something else. This place is great though.

Had a great time renting a double kayak here. They offer canoes, kayaks, and SUPs at reasonable prices. Their location is great and provides easy access to both nature and city views. The staff was friendly and they have a good system in place for processing a lot of people on busy days. They have dry bags to rent and offer opem cubby storage for your shoes and clothing you want to leave behind.

Went on a Weekday and it was peaceful and quiet with no wait time, just signed a paper and gave them my ID and Credit Card to have on file. We grabbed life jackets and hopped on the kayaks and spent 3 and a half hours out there and it only cost $25 per kayak. Very affordable and had a wonderful time with friends. Plus all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Definitely Recommend.

Went for the bat paddle and have been going ever since. Batt paddle was super fun (see pic). Nice staff. Decent prices. Google doesn't really know where it is but once you find it, it's easy. If there's not enough parking in the lot, there is more on the street.

We went here at 8am without any advance bookings on a long weekend. They still welcomed us and provided quick service.
Tips:
1. if you want a peddle kayak you will need to book online.
2. Wear good suncreen and swim wears as you will get wet
3. They need a credit card (Amex not allowed) and your license as proof.
4. They do have a storage area for your shoes/bags - please be advised it s not locked
5. They would provide you with splash proof bag and splash resistant bag for 2 and 4$ respectively.

This place is awesome. Very reasonably priced. We went on a Saturday and was able to get right on the water on some paddle boards. The staff was awesome! I forgot my sunscreen and they were out of little packs to sell so the guy at the counter just gave me some of his personal sunscreen. So much fun on the water. Highly recommend coming here!

$10.00 an hour per person when we went. It was my first time ever and I felt really comfortable. They don't give you time to second guess. Just sign, see if you need water/waterproof bag, get a life jacket, pay, and go. It's so simple. No directions given. Turtles were EVERYWHERE and it was just very peaceful. Recommend wearing shorts and shoes you don't care about/water shoes. I recommend this place for sure!

Best place to rent a kayak or paddle board on Ladybird Lake!!! Highest quality/widest variety of watercraft, coolest staff, furthest Westward dock, has it's own parking lot. Also gives excellent bat tours!

Great experience with this company! My wife and I had a blast renting a few SUP's and getting out on the lake, Pricing is a bit high but with groupon deals it can be better than most other companies in Austin. Thanks for the enjoyable time and we look forward to doing it again!

My girlfriend and I visited this place for kayaking. It was so much fun. We went around for an hour or so. The view is so beautiful and it is so peaceful to just float in the water for a while and have conversations. We had a lot of fun and will visit this place more often. Definitely recommended.

Things I love:

Things I love:

They have the most wonderful staff, the dock is organized and clean and the general facility is great. The water craft are in great condition as well.

Things that could be better:

Wish they had better bathroom facilities. They have 3 porta potties which do the job. However a better bathroom for changing, cleaning, locker rooms would be pretty awesome.
