Good hotel with good amenities. Needs a bit of upgrading because it looks quite rundown.

In my recent trip to Lebanon I stayed at three different hotels, in three different areas of the country.
The Gefinor Rotana was my absolute favorite. The staff was exceptionally polite, informative and the hotel itself was a splendid place to spend time. The location is perfection if you want to stay in the heart of Beirut. Rooftop pool is gorgeous, rooms are very clean, wifi is strong and valet parking is very efficient. This was my second trip over to Lebanon and I will most definitely stay at this hotel again and again. Thank you Gefinor Rotana for making my trip fantastic for the five nights I stayed at your hotel.

Just right behind Hamra. street, close to many hotspots in Beirut. For my experience, real nice place for meetings, the staff are very friendly.

Its location is one of the best. Minuets from.the sea and Al Hamra street. Lots of restaurant around it since it's clise to a university. Rooms are a bit old

Incredible hotel with truly amazing service. The room was cleaned 3 times a day. It was a great experience. The head chef Jean Makhoul made the buffet next level. The food was tasty, the fruits and vegetables were so fresh, it felt they were ouch 30 seconds ago. The variety and choices where also great. I have tried many new dishes. The rooms were renovated and spacious, with great a bathroom. The roof top bar, pool and gym were amazing. The views from the top are magnificent. I recommend this hotel if you want to be downtown Beirut, close to everything and watch a beautiful sunset from the rooftop pool.

Very great location at the heart of Al Hamra Street and the reception staff very friendly and helpful ask for Anita and she will make you happy, try the sea View rooms with balcony its really amazing and you will feel you are staying at your second home

Decent place and great location but the rooms are small

From the moment you arrive at the Gefinor you learn that the staff and it s level of service is the best part of the Gefinor closely followed by its location. Also positive is the rooftop pool with a great view. A minor observation is that while the public areas are great the rooms are a bit adequate but dated and with a number of alternatives in the area that s an area that the hotel might consider to compete.

Tho i always prefer the cozy uncrowded places, but Rotana is a good choice to stay in the heart of Beirut where everything is nearby. The view from above is breathtaking.
Good service and kind staff

The location is good, very close to the American University, overlooking a beautiful little park close to the sea.
Towels, sheets and beds are clean and tidy.
The floors of the rooms are made of carpet and this is not desirable, as it is better and cleaner to be of wood (parquet), to prevent the sensation of the smell of mold with dust.
Breakfast is good by Lebanese standards.
Reception is good.
The price is high compared to Turkish hotels.
Unfortunately, there is no musalla (small mosque) inside the hotel.
I wish it was free of alcohol and intoxicants, especially since its owner is an Arab-Emirati Muslim.

Rather a nice and quite surrounding hotel offers daily home made food at a very moderate price did not visit the rooms for quite sometime but those were to a higher standard ones

Gefinor rotana is a great choice for conferences, gatherings and wedding...I have attended those 3 kind of events and it was amazing. The food is very tasty, the service is very professional, the rooms are spacious, well maintained and luxurious
