I stayed there for ten days from one of the most beautiful hotels in Beirut
Very clean, elite, inspiring hotel in heart of Beirut Lebanon, we held a training course rent the meeting room was fantastic good service, we took our lunch there was huge variety tasty and delicious,
Top notch hotel. Excellent location to visit Beirut. Impeccable food, ambience and service. Friendly staff who are highly professional and welcoming. Accomodation is great with all the amenities you could wish for. Hotel is being renovated.
Good place to stay for travelers, business men and tourists. Also good for meetings.
The hotel overbooked their rooms which resulted in our 3 king sea view rooms being unavailable for the first night. Instead we were offered smelly smoking rooms or low floor suite rooms. Our rooms ranged from having leaks, ill fitting doors and windows and road noise. Whether we also told that we had booked 3 king rooms with single occupancy and that we would need to pay for the 2nd persons breakfast as it wasn't included. This was incorrect and was rectified as soon as we obtained wifi and showed our booking confirmation. The second night we were moved to our proper rooms which were a huge difference in comfort and standard.
Breakfast was excellent and the location was fine, a short walk from the university area known as Bliss. Short walk also to the corniche.
We were given on the 2nd day a flyer which told us we could get a discount for eating and drinking in the bar. Unfortunately on our first night we were not aware if this and paid full price.
All in all a good hotel to book but beware as the hotel do not seem organised and their organisation costs their customers.
Good place and delicious food pay attention to change the bedsheets sometimes
Best place to go for a stay if you are visiting Beirut.
The hotel is in an excellent location in the heart of the capital Beirut. The staff are very courteous and tasteful but the room was not ready with pre-booking and we were transferred to another room which caused confusion even when paying on departure. The forms were resolved but it seems to be frequent due to lack of cleaning staff
The sea food night buffet is simply a premium, fresh fish, tasty dishes with local and international options available, lobsters are offered directly off the grill to your plate and there is a variety of fish either cooked or fried, its followed by a generous sweet tooth plates that never stops you from endulging more. The waiters arw super friendly ans the cost ia nothing in comparison to what local restaurants offer against this value of money.
The hotel was clean. I liked its strategic location, it was close to many hotspots. However, some of the hotel s staff were not friendly at all!
Nice location in the heart of Beirut, i attended many workshops and conferences in this hotel, clean, good food and coffee break
Prime location, great food specially breakfast buffet, also they had seafood festival one of the evenings. It is on the expensive side however somehow justify. Rooms are good and hygiene was maintained.
It was a great experience with an exclusive service
A strategically placed hotel with good views and excellent service.
Great breakfast, walking distance to Zaituna bay and shopping area.
Excellent place to stay in Beirut. A lot of verities of food. Spoilt with choices. :)
Hotel and amenities are good, but rooms are very small. Electricity goes off very often but comes back in a short period of time, which is good. At the moment, I am staying in a room with a 27 degrees temperature, very hot in this summer. I called twice to get someone to fix my AC, but no one showed up. Waiters and housekeeping staff on the ground are nice and friendly, otherwise staff needs to be more welcoming and at least smile. Going back now to complain about the AC.
Close proximity to and from the airport. Overall satisfaction with service. Highly recommended for UN staff.
Excellent food, services and elegant place. Thursday Seafood night is more than delicious !! Highly recommended.
Location was excellent since it was from a walking distance from major places and the sea. Personnel was helpful with positive attitude. We were provided with a two single-bed room instead of a double for the first night as we booked, but in the next day we were moved to another room with a double bed, which I believe might was an upgrade as well to our original booking. The room was very clean although the carpet in the first room (older room) was a bit old and didn't feel very clean. The shower water pressure could have been stronger, specially in the older room. Last day checked out 2 hrs later with no charge or problem made. In addition, they kept our luggage safe free of charge until our departure at night. Didn't mind the body scanner at the entrance and backpack discreet check, since they enhanced the security feeling, specially in this period of the year.
The best seafood buffet I visited, anywhere, period!! Every Thursday evening
Room service is good but the restaurant is very bad
In addition to cheating on bills, recording items and feeding him that you did not request, and lack of honesty in dealing
Good localisation, fine swimm pool. Breskfast very very Good. Recomendations.
Strategic location close to hamra but also away from the rush. Professional and friendly service
The Rotana Gefinor hotel is quiet, very comfortable, always beautifully decorated for all seasons, offering the exquisite Lebanese cuisine, in a walking distance from the seaside promenade. Beirut is one of the oldest cities in the world with a rich history over the past 5000 years. In the first half of the last century it used to be called the Paris of the Middle East, prosperous and rich. Having both the sea and high mountains, historical monuments and an advanced infrastructure, it was a popular touristic destination. Regrettably, the second half of the last century brought wars, damage and decline. Over the past years much efforts have been paid to restore and revive the city; in May 2015, Beirut was officially recognised as one of the New7Wonders Cities together with Vigan, Doha, Durban, Havana, Kuala Lumpur, and La Paz. I hope peace and prosperity may return.
I keep returning to this hotel I was happy to see the internet problems are fixed (December 2018).
Remember to go to the rooftop to enjoy the amazing view, I never get tired of it.
The lobby with its reflection features is another photographer's joy.
When I stayed here our room was not ready so we were offered a free drink at the bar. After an hour or two of still not having the room ready, the gracious staff offered the three of us a meal and all the drinks we wanted on the way house! It was worth the wait. Still the best grilled tuna I've ever eaten! Live entertainment too. The view from the rooftop pool is outstanding and the hotel is in a great location for the city walking tour starting point. I will stay here again!!
Great hotel, superb staff, everything was amazing!!!
Gefinor Rotana Beirut is an excellent option for leisure or business.
Centered in the middle of town between hamra and Downtown.
Excellent business center, conference and halls.
Very welcoming staff and walking distance to the American Hospital
didnt change the sheets when asked to i slept on the same sheets for 2days and the internet kept disconnecting
Very nice and clean hotel, food in the boufet is also v good, very cooperative staff
Excellent service and location. Superior on-premise restaurant
Stayed there recently.
Very polite and helpful staff.
Pool and gym was clean and a nice view from the swimming pool.
We had a double room sea view and it was very nice and clean
Great place for corporate and professional events. Easily accessible with lot of nearby markings. Great lunch offerings. Great open air garden through the whole year.
Prime location, but otherwise small hotel rooms. Nothing extraordinary, but the place has got a fantastic reputation none the less. My friend lost her ring here and the staff found it and gave it to her when checking out.
Rooms were dated, staff brought already open bottles of water and their ancillary services were over priced. Not worth the money.
Will the real Ali Younes please stand up? Please stand up please stand up
Good reception, spacious rooms, good food, rooftop with exceptional views
Its location is once excellent
The service is great
The room is large in size
The place is elegant and has all the services
Their fault is their job that their breakfast buffet is small and not varied
Stayrd for 5 nights in November 2017 and will definitely recommend it to all Beirut visitors.
C FLOOR, it's a party venue, the only issue is that it needs a better air inspirator.
Stay was good enough, but the inconsistency in the way staff offered room service and cleaning was annoying. I was given a room with a view over the worst side of Beirut, with no option to change. Breakfast service was OK at best, with coffee pot either always cold or empty, until staff was asked to change it.
