My dad graduated from Rose-Hulman with a degree in mechanical engineering, and so I've spent enough time around engineers to know that they're incredibly smart and they know it. A lot of the times there's a lot of arrogance that I have to deal with when it comes to dad, but the agent who helped me with my chemistry on AskRose was incredibly polite and understanding and didn't make me feel stupid at all, even though I missed some pretty obvious stuff. I'll definitely use this the next time I'm struggling because using the chat option is a lot more conducive to my learning style and helps me better formulate my questions. This is a wonderful learning tool. Keep up the good work!

Great service that has helped all 6 of my children over the last 15 years. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

They don't chat for fun like homework hotline does and they ask me if I have homework after I tell them I don't then they just end the chat
But, other than that they are pretty helpful.

I teach HS Algebra. This resource is the BEST! Being able to speak to someone when you need help is critical ! The fact that this resource is FREE is even better! The tutors who man the phone lines are trained to help students gain the understanding without "giving" them the answers. My reluctant students have shared that they are much more willing to call back because of how helpful and friendly the tutor was. And, they say "the tutor didn't make me feel stupid"!

I love Rose-Hulman Homework Hotline because it is easy to use and does not cost any money. Also I like how it is students that help the kids. One thing that they could do better is making the open hours start at like 5:30, 6:00 so it is more convenient for kids.

The people are very nice but when i used it the tutor was not very helpful. and the hours are very limited. I have a feeling it might be more helpful to those in easier classes.

Really helpful, I learned so many new things from my tutor.
