We ask that they also find here the science books of Rabbi Zamir Cohen as well as the book in Rabbi Shalom Arush's Faith Garde
Worst gender neutral public bathroom I have ever been to. There was urine and poop smeared everywhere! It also had a faint smell of boot leather.
It is impressive place and it gives you to fill how President of United States lived. My visit of Air Force One here was unforgettable.
Arguably the best of any of the presidential libraries! This place has everything you could want to see about one of our most accomplished presidents.
One of the most important places to visit when you can. A very important part of the Americans way of life. With out his hand in (my) life. Most of us would be under a different government. Not a good one. A great place for Americans to teach your child and grandchildren, why we and they have freedoms that other countries want. He made our country strong again. He had strong family faith and family values. Thank God.
The best place in California about my favorite US president. What else could be said?
This was the 1st Presidential Library we visited and I suspect the others will be a letdown in comparison. We went during an off period (end of January) so no problems with parking, purchasing entry tickets or seeing and using any of the interactive exhibits. We did purchase the $7 handheld audio tour device but not sure it was necessary. Enjoyed the tour of Air Force One--not as luxurious as expected but that plane went into service almost 50 years ago. If desired, a photographer will take your picture (5 shots) of you boarding Air Force One. We did purchase 2 of the pics for $31 and felt it was a worthwhile momento. There were 2 places to get lunch but we were short on time so didn't visit. The views of Simi Valley are beyond stunning. Spent about 3 1/2 hours there and felt we saw most everything. If you're in the Los Angeles area, would recommend taking the day to go for a visit.
My mother and I took a trip here recently and purchased the annual membership which includes free visits to this and other presidential libraries. There are guided tours, but it's worth it just to explore on your own, especially Air Force 1. This was a nice, relaxing visit while the rest of the family played at Six Flags, which was only about 30 minutes away. Very historical fascinating, and they have different exhibts that get showcased throughout the year. Worth a visit.
Absolutely beautiful, educational and nice. Friendly staff. Thank you
Definitely worth visiting!
Don't forget to visit also the Air Force 1 there! :)
Fantastic. Nothing shy of professional above and beyond courteous service in addition to an absolutely beautiful facility. Lots to see and learn! Hands down must visit for anyone who gets the chance!
In this museum,we understands the power of the United States of America and the challenges that this great country has had over the decades, especially the great contribution it has given to the Cold War. This place is amazing as it has gathered many things in one place. Awesome objects like Air Force One, helicopter of president and other original things. Also here you can see all the history and contribution that has been given by one of the lfamous US Presidents Rinald Regan. It is worth visiting. Do not miss the opportunity to visit this wonderful place.
The most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the government and I'm here to help. Classic.
I love it . When I have out of town guest, I will take them to Reagan Library
Worth the 90 miles to visit, Reagan was right then and our President today is stating the same. Cafe is pretty good.
Sweetheart Dinner and Dance was amazing! Took the hubby for Valentine's Day and we were very impressed with everything. From the decorations, to the live band, and the delicious spread, I honestly couldn't believe what a bargain this was. Great way to avoid the V-Day crowds and have a delicious meal and some quality time with your significant other. Highly recommend!
Fantastic. What a treat. Can't believe I didn't come sooner.
This is an awesome reminder of the greatest president of my lifetime. It also reminds me of how far the USA has fallen from our greatest ideals under the currant SOCIALIST administration. We need another Ronald W. Reagan!
I had been here several years ago, not long after the Air Force One pavilion was built and really liked it. I returned this time and was pleased to see the exhibits had been updated with lots of interactive displays. This is a well-executed story of a great president and absolutely beautiful setting.
Great place to visit at Ronald Reagan Library. Great service and clean.
Beautiful place but not worth the cost to visit, way over rated.
It was fun there but the the line to the Air force One was very long. I was a good place though
An outstanding tribute to one of America's greatest presidents! I especially enjoyed touring Air Force One.
This is what a Presidential library should be!
What a once in a lifetime event.
We had a great time.
I was very great full to be able to pay homage to the president at his resting place. I may not have agreed with his politics but I do have to admit there was something special about the Great Communicator . I lived through the Cold War and he was one of the pivotal figures in ending it. The museum is a true time capsule. Every American should visit this place. If anything, to increase your awareness of the difficulties and obstacles overcome by this President.
So much to see and do...A GREAT way to spend a day!!! Food was reasonably priced....and tasty!!
Wonderful time at the RRPL, first titanic. Exhibit was super. A year or so later, Leonardo davinci... Loved it.
Absolutely impressive library about the life of Ronald Reagan. The exhibition is also interesting if you are not a political fan. The highlight is a visit to Air Force One in the hangar behind the museum and the grave in the garden!
This place is a must-see for anyone that lives in the LA area. It's not a long drive, and the facility is amazing. The museum section is like a chronological history of RR from his youth, to his college football days, to his acting to his political career. The amount of memorabilia on display is priceless, from the flag that draped his coffin, to the actual suit he was wearing when he got shot, to his personal diary that he wrote in each day he was in office. There's also great displays with video footage, tons of photos, and a history lesson of his accomplishments. There's even a huge section of the Berlin Wall that you can take a photo with. But the real highlight of the day for me was walking through the Air Force One plane that was used by Nixon, Ford, Carter and RR -- and also the Marina One helicopter! The hangar that houses them also has a motorcade display where you can see a presidential security limo up close. You can see the entire facility in a few hours if you don't stop to read through every single display.
I enjoyed our visit here. Very informative with nice exhibits and Air Force One.
I love you honor Nancy Reagan very beautiful my heart God bless to you
You will love this place if you are a fan of ronald regagan
What a great historical view of America and one of its Hero's.
Love this place. Very educational. There is a lot to see. There are special exhibits occasionally throughout the year. NFL to Star Wars, the special exhibits have a great quantity of memorabilia and facts about them. Seeing how the president went from college football player to actor to president is a great way to relate and feel connected to the past. You can set foot in the Air Force One of Reagan's administration and even see fighter jets.
I Love this place, my dad told me Ronald Reagan was the best president of history
A beautiful presidential center dedicated to Ronald Reagan. Loved the hanger with the plane you can walk through!!
Excellent experience, any of the libraries are well worth visiting.
I have been to here multiple times for multiple occasions. It is good to check out if you have never been also good to come back to from time especially if there's an exhibit that you like there.
Most excellent and educative place to visit in California
It is a wonderful museum. Explained that it was a beautiful hall and the contents of the exhibition were wonderful. The scenery outside is also superb. You can shoot inside the building. it's recommended.
A bit of a drive, but if you have a free day it's worth it. Great place to spend a whole day exploring, the old Air Force One jet is an exceptional treat to view.
we were there a few years ago and it's beautiful...need more time to see everything we missed. we'll go again this year 2016. A great President and First Lady.
Awesome experience, great place to visit with children, lot of history, very emotional to hear President Reagan's voice as one reads his goodbye letter after his diagnosis. Great time.
Abery interesting place of history of the Legacy at
The Happiest Place on Earth! Been there 8 times!
It just never gets old...
The library is so beautiful! The area even more beautiful I loved it!This is the first Presidential Library I visited!
Horrible public gender neutral urinal. This public Gender neutral urinal is the worst. What a horrible public gender neutral bathroom
Amazing place great enviroment for both adults and kids
This museum is extremely well done. Lots of interactive exhibits, and seeing Air Force One was very cool.
Geat even a limo that Ronald Reagan was in and his own airplane
The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library is a great place to see, because it has an incredible view of the valley area and the interactive pieces in the museum are a lot of fun! The buildings are spectacular, the Air Force One airplane is beautiful and elegant in its own way. . I highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't done so already
Literally no parking available. People havi g to park illegally. Parking lot seems entirely inadequate to accommodate the footfall. Compounded by a slew of spaces cones off for some reason.
Drove over an hour to get there and couldn't even visit.
Great place to visit. Ronald Reagan was a great thinker an as a president changed the world. Excellent location with the beatiful views of the Simi Valley. Occasionally they have themed exhibits.
I stopped by the Presidential Library on my last trip to Los Angeles, and remain impressed with the location, size, quality and layout of this facility. What an adventure. The only thing I need when I get here is more time. There is so much to read and absorb that my brain input is full and I need a rest, but i plod on, reading the history of this President and the many ways in which the world was changed. For me I live through this Presidents term so it is a trip down memory lane to fill in some information and alight events on a time scale. Having an Air Force One 747 in the museum is impressive. This is my favorite Presidential Libraries (I have been to 2 others, and still need to get a couple more to complete the set!) Come early, spend the day and have a picnic on the hill with history.
Simply amazing. President Reagan picked the perfect spot of his Library - truly a reflection of who he was as a person and president. The highlights are the replica of the oval office, Air Force One and Marine One as well as the Berlin Wall exhibit. Go early as the parking lot gets full quickly.
So organized tour route and astonishing Air Force one. Friendly staffs. Not so crowded.
Great museum. But exhibition about Mongolian imperie it's sad. It's luck like Hitler imperie after 300-500 years. They were killers and destroyers.
This place was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend and I will go back. Regardless of your politics, there are so many fascinating displays, artifacts and pieces that bring the history to life. When you can see things in person vs. reading about it, or watching it on TV, it is just a whole other experience. The sounding hillside and gardens are so peaceful and quiet. The views are gorgeous. I highly recommend to go visit. Take your family and enjoy it. Please be respectful.
This place has really great vistas of the area. The exhibits are usually very nice thought out, and the venue is pleasant to visit.
Our daughter and her friends absolutely loved the interactive exhibits that recently ended. There is always something new however and really, it's pretty hard to see it all in a day. That makes for another reason to return. Prices shouldn't shock anyone, it's not a free public library and you should know that up front. Yes, parking is limited but there is a shuttle and it runs on a schedule. Once again, this is not a secret. Really a must see if you're in the area and can spend a whole day to take your time and enjoy it.
It is beautiful and it is one of the most beautiful presidential libraries that I have seen so far. Very interesting
Great place to remember Ronnie. He was a great president. Aspirational. Not divisive.
Plenty info and knowledge are provided here. So happy to have a closer look of my favor President !
Very nice and well reserved museum . It is also a great place to spend a whole day with family here. A must go and visit museum.
Great tour along with many extras including Air Force One. All top notch and very happy I did this!
Just a fun place to visit. Air Force one is the highlight and the Berlin Wall brings back terrible memories of the Cold war...
An amazing man. An amazing an incredible place. The views are so great. The experience is one I will never forget. Thank you.
This Library captures everything Ronald Reagan! Very well done!
I would say this is definitely something you should do sometime in your lifetime.
Inspiring quotes and wonderful informative videos.
What an amazing place. It's only the second presidential museum I've been to but it sure doesn't disappoint. Fantastic views and amazing exhibits. They're holiday events are really enjoyable as well. The staff couldn't be more friendly or knowledgeable.
Beautiful painted murals of former First Lady Nancy Reagan adorn the entrance. This was another reason why I wanted to come to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum. I wanted to pay my respects to this lovely lady who passed away earlier this year. I remember when I was in grade school, Ronald Reagan was president and presented a few of us with the Presidential Academic Fitness Award. I still have the embossed certificate and lapel pin to this day.
The museum is set up in chronological order from when Ronald Reagan was born, his acting career, his years as governor, assassination attempt, a recreation of The Oval Office as it was when President Reagan was in office, and at the half way mark is the Air Force One Pavilion.
In the Air Force One Pavilion, the Air Force One 27000 was used by seven presidents: Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, G.H.W. Bush, Clinton, and G.W. Bush. The plane was decommissioned on September 8, 2001. It was disassembled over a nine-week period by The Boeing Company into sections: fuselage, tail and stabilizers, engines, main landing gear, and wings. After construction of the pavilion and reassembling of 27000, Air Force One Pavilion opened to the public on October 24, 2005. In the pavilion, you can see the plane in its grandeur like it just came off the showroom floor. The front of the pavilion is floor to ceiling glass (3 stories high) with sweeping views of the Conejo Valley.
On the plane, you will see how President Reagan had it with the creature comforts of home. One thing that President Reagan was known for was his love Jelly Belly Jelly Beans. There were glass canisters of them on almost every table. But what you probably don't know is that he always had a cake on board to celebrate birthdays and special occasions of his crew and staff. As you take the elevator down a level, you can view the Air Force One underbelly and get an actual concept of how big this plane really is.
As you make your way out of the Air Force One Pavilion, the rest of President Reagan's life continues from politics in America, summits, and Camp David during his presidency. Post-presidential life continues through his passing on June 5, 2004. The emotions are very strong in the Mourning Ronald Reagan room. There is a picture of Nancy with her son, Ron, and her daughter, Patti, at President Reagan's funeral that capture the emotional pain and I couldn't help but cry.
The tour ends at the Museum Store where you can select the perfect memento to remember your experience. They even have a variety of Jelly Belly Jelly Beans for purchase as well.
I took a stroll outside to the Ruwe Terrace and see beautiful views of Conejo Valley and Simi Valley. There is a piece of the Berlin Wall on display.
The Memorial Site is where President Ronald Wilson Reagan and former First Lady Nancy David Reagan lay to rest. They had a magical love story of fairy tales. It was just amazing to see their love throughout the museum. I am so honored to have been here to give them a moment of thanks for all of the great memories and great things that they did for the citizens of the United States of America.
Here's one for the Gipper... A nice presidential library in the Reagan country. I went for the Genghis Kahn exhibit, which is the largest collection of its kind thus far. Mongols once ruled the largest empire known in history. Very well presented with a kinder interpretation of this conqueror who has been misunderstood, if not outright vilified, rather than presenting him as a unifying leader rose from a modest background and despite an almost impossible odds against him. He loved horses. He was tough with his enemies, but very benevolent to his subjects. He opened his heart to those who submitted to him, yet he ruthlessly destroyed those who chose to fight him. Sounds almost like Reagan himself, no?
Awesome experience!!!! I have been many times, and have enjoyed it every time. I have also brought out of town family members and they have had a great time as well! It is an honor to visit this library because of the great legacy that Ronald Reagan has left all Americans!! A must see for fans and foes alike.
Very interesting day out. To make the most of it, you WILL need a full day (get there early). Hopefully there won't be droves of school kids there when you go. Thankfully we arrived about the same time as several buses were disgorged of their young cargo so we could do the special Pompeii exhibit while the sprogs were taking in the Reagan side of things. By the time we came out of the Pompeii exhibit and had a quick lunch, all was quiet in the Reagan part of the library.
This a fantastic presidential library. Well done and very large - Air Force One (a 707) and Marine One are located inside the library. I have been twice and I would go again. You need at least 3 hours to make a quick tour and see everything.
Beautififule hill top lacttion - take a sack dinner with you and watch the sunset from the very nice outdoor area facing west.
No matter what you think/thought of his administration - you get to know Ronald Reagan who was a great man and a great leader. It was a very inspiring experience for me. I am proud of him and his wife. I am pround of what he accomplished.
Go and make a day of it - and then head to the beach for sun fun & sun.
Ronald Reagan was the greatest President of the United States of America.
Extremely interesting, it absolutely a Must visit place.
Awesome facility. Very nice how they have different exhibits that they bring in from time to time and best part of all is you get to walk aboard the real air force one that was used by regan himself. What an honor
Has the typical items you would expect to see at a presidential library and museum. However, the main attraction is one of the planes once used as Air Force One.
