As a parent, I love Rocky Mount Prep. They don't only educate our children, but help structure them as well mannered children. It also teaches them the facts of life. It do not tolerate certain things like the public schools. The bullying, gang relations, and over crowded class rooms. Even though my kids don't like it 100 percent, they really appreciate it.
If I could give zero stars I would. I've been going to this school since kindergarten and it is honestly the worst school ever. The staff cares more about our uniforms than our education. There was even a kid trying to poison one of the teachers and getting expelled. Our test scores suck and I feel like I've wasted my life learning nothing.
This is an amazing school and your child will be honored to go here
ok the school has good teachers and a good learning process but these people are right the kids are mean but there some good kid there

Worst School ever do not recommend the teachers dont care about their students and the high school principal is useless my Sons 50 dollar coat was stolen and nothing was done about it. please i urge you dont send your kids to this school
Worst school ever!!! I have never had a school where students don't even get recognition for participation. I mean these children put their all into things and dont even get a little praise for hard work and effort. Also the teachers aren't really worth much of anything. Pouring their personal sexual preferences in the students seems like it should be against some kind of rules but it's being done. They speak to the children with no respect as if they aren't young human beings who deserve it. I can't possibly put all things in this review but man.
As a Parent who sent their kids to this school all i can say is that this school is THE ABSOLUTE WORST !!!!!! It is filled with Gangs Drugs and Theft and the teachers dont do anything about it and they dont care about their students I urge parents who want to send there kids to this school DONT DO IT YOU WILL REGRET IT !!!!!! take it from me a parent who put there kids in this school and is now taking them out and back into public school. any public school is better than this school.

It's sad that the Head of School would rather call my son and boyfriend liars, than make his office staff responsible for not asking for ID when my son was picked up today, and 4 other times prior. He then told me that if I was so upset about this, that there are plenty of schools out there, and I could easily come and withdraw my son. Clearly he does not care about my son, which leads me to believe he doesn't care about any others. He told me that everyone wants to complain, but nobody wants to volunteer or join the PTA. I tried to explain why people don't volunteer, but he continued to yell and talk over me. Very unprofessional for someone that is supposed to be the head of school. He should be ashamed of himself!
Rocky mount prep is the best school ever all of my teachers are very nice
