Parking was easy and wasn't a nuisance like most of the medical buildings generally around this area. The staff associated with the physician I saw, along with the physician were excellent!

The nurse found a provider from another part of the clinic that was getting ready to go home to come see my 5 year old as the other doctors were busy. It was so kind and way above and beyond. Our kiddo ended up needing an appendectomy so they made the right call to send us to the ER. Appreciate the wonderful care.

Bad, bad, bad...

Bad, bad, bad...
Here are my grievances:

1. I went through the normal routine of getting a referral to this office, making an appointment, and then visiting the office. The claim was rejected because the referral date(s) and the date of my appointment did not align. No one noticed?

2. The second time this office sent in the claim, it was the day after the allotted date. You missed it by 1-day, so now I owe more money because you took a year to submit it a second time?

3. I had one visit at your office which was the Hello, I have a headache, meeting. The actual help was supposed to come during the second visit. I was contacted the day of my second visit, after driving 1 hour to Spokane, and notified that the Dr was no longer part of that office as of that day. So, no second visit. The first visit is a total waste of time and money without the second visit.

4. While at that office for what should have been my second visit (but there was no Dr), I was told that I would be notified about setting up another replacement appointment. Now it s a year later, and the only actual notification I got was this messed up bill.

The MA was very professional and empathetic. The wait time to see the provider was long but once I saw the provider- Sam Magby, she was extremely professional and very attentive to my needs. I would highly recommend this provider to my friends and family.

The PAs here are a joke. Well the one I dealt with was. He wasn't very personable, and bed side manners were lacking. The front desk constantly asked me for a co-pay even though it shows them, when they pull up the file, that I have double coverage. Save your time and sanity and go to Providence Urgent Care.

Having been to several other urgent cares, I have to say I was so impressed with the level of care provided here. The wait time was minimal by most UC standards- maybe 30 minutes to be seen by the nurse and another 30 to see the doc; the front staff and nurses were all very kind; and the doc was knowledgeable and empathetic. All and all I had a very positive experience.

I left Rockwood Clinic a few years ago due to incompetence and unprofessional behavior at the 5th st. and 29th st. locations. I submitted a records release form for a new pediatrician and transfer took over five weeks. (They are required by law to transfer the records within 15 working days). One of many examples of incompetence or inappropriate behavior. You should especially avoid Rockwood if you have children or medical conditions requiring treatment.

I went there telling the doctor that I have been sick for 3 weeks and now my throat and ears have been causing me a lot of pain. He simply just told me that I had a cold and my tonsils were surprisingly large for my age (21 yrs. old). He prescribed me a nasal spray, which I told him I was already given one by another doctor a few weeks ago. 2 days went by and my symptoms only got worse and worse. I was in a ton of pain and I needed help so I went to a different urgent care because I knew that Rockwood did not give me the correct treatment the first time around. This other urgent care doctor took one look at my throat right away and instantly diagnosed me with tonsilitis, which was caused by me having mono. Moral of the story is that I am never going back to Rockwood because of the poor and ineffective treatment I received there.

Receptionist incorrectly signed me up for a COVID-19 test, did not take it off my record after being asked to, and then continually showed up as pending until speaking with a manager over a week after- impacting my ability to receive further medical care. Clinic waiting areas were also confirmed to not being sanitized or cleaned properly.

Rockwood urgent care main clinic is awful!! Extremely long wait 3+ hours, the RNs are nice but the PACs are pretty terrible, cma's are very poorly qualified. had to come back 3 days in a row for follow-ups, just to be told to come back for a fourth....really.... Right.
