We love this place! They recently acquired an EXCELLENT chef who has really upgraded the menu and food!!-Delicious! And I love that my kiddos can go play while we eat in peace! It is a members only restaurant, but soooooo worth the yearly dues we pay! And being a membership only restaurant has definite perks!!-not a huge wait time to be seated like most restaurants in Rockwall. And did i mention the food is FABULOUS!?

DO NOT HAVE A WEDDING HERE! Very unorganized, no staff to help. Then they get mad when they have to clean up, isnt that their job? They act like they have never done a wedding before! Do not reccomend having your day here.

Club house is nice and has a great view. All of the food I have tried is good and the course is fun and challenging.

This place has everything I need. It s clean, well kemp s, the patrons are quiet, beautiful, and ambitious.

The grounds are gorgeous. The equipment in the gym has almost everything you need to get either ripped or skinny. So many services , classes, and events keeps you on track, motivated, and fun!

The food at the cafe is amazing, and Fran and Sisco at the bar serve them up cold and refreshing.

I love everything about this place.

And I didn t even talk about the gorgeous views!

The greens and fairways are pretty rough right now. After playing the Dallas Cowboys course, it really looked bad. I heard they fired their groundskeeper which will hopefully bring it back to life. The inside bar is a happening place though. Good place to grab a drink and relax.

This club is one of the best in DFW. Their course is fantastic, well taken care of and some spectacular views. Service is always cordial from staff to management. The pub and restaurant serve great food.

I'm not a golfer, but the other amenities are fantastic. 2 pools and a splash pad, bounce house, tennis courts, half court basketball. They have a restaurant inside and a bar of sorts outside. Our kids love the pool and splash pad.

Beautiful renovated pool & facilities. But it's frustrating that they won't let residents use the pool unless you pay membership for a year.

Awesome and delightful food, I love the atmosphere the place has, and the employees were super nice. I will definitely visit here next time.

I was there for a wedding and it's nice. I expected more and expected more from a country club, the food was decent, they served wet plattes to us to use for food, and food on the bottom of a few of them. Didn't use correct serving spoons and ect. The 2 younger bar tenders had great attitudes, unlike your other staff, the coordinator looked mo re professionally dressed the the staff, shirt untucked, not talking to people other then serving beers at the beginning. I just expected more from this place,

An Excellent golf course. I played a round of golf with a long time acquaintance (and member) that I hadn't seen in 10 or more years. (I hadn't played golf in at least as many years!) Rockwall Golf & Athletic Club is a quality venue with a challenging course a comfortable clubhouse, clean nice golfcarts, and amiable people. I hope for another opportunity to play the golf course, enjoy the time and the challenge of the game in such great surroundings.

Great atmosphere and awesome people. Food isn't the greatest, but it's by no means bad. Great patio to enjoy a cold beer on over looking the golf course and lake.

(Edit/Update) with the hiring of a new chef and a revised menu, I've changed my rating from 3 to 4 stars. Great food!

Good place to eat dinner at with the family, if you're a member and had a family wedding here. Steve did acceptionally well handling the large number of drink requests and other requests throughout the night. Great time, good location to have events.

We just love going there for get togethers. Its small and quaint. Not to mention the bar down stairs is so awesome with great bartenders

Great community club. There's a pool, gym, and a deck / restaurant for residents that is fairly maintained. Never too busy, except on opening weekend.

Clean but insufficient wedding venue in regards to space and staff needs training big time. Pretentious but without the right to be.

This venue is extremely unprofessional and attempts to extort money from customers long after any business dealings have come to a close.
This venue chose to bill me for items we paid in full and they added additional fraudulent charges months afterwards. Whatever you do, do not have an event here! They do not stand by their invoice amounts for events.

Good food but they seem to never get my order right. The pool is nice because there's a adults only pool and then a pool right next to it for everyone.

I have been here a few times, and visited with friends that are members. The food is okay and the service was lacking for what one would expect from an exclusive country club. I have had better service at the Texas Road House in Rockwall and the steak was more tender. The ambiance and quiet atmosphere are where they get the 3 stars, because it is nice to have that exclusive feel while having a nice dinner conversation. The place is very dated, and not in a good, old fashioned type of way, but more of a tired old way.

Employees take excellant care of members and their guests . and the new security staff is very efficient..I highly recomend it

DO NOT HAVE A WEDDING HERE! My best friend got married here and literally none of the employees helped her, they were very rude and unprofessional! Rude to the guests, started busting down tables even though they paid til 10:00 and started at 8:30 to clean everything up, if you want your day to be worry free DO NOT COME HERE! They are highly untrained to do their job, for the amount of money you spend to have your wedding here you would think they would be more accommodating!!!!

Beautiful place. Clean pool, bathroom and pool deck area. Lots of chairs. Sun Or shade. Also has food and adult beverages available.

Nice view from the dining room. Prices a little high. Food is okay as well a good change of pace to the everyday food.

We love the RGAC! My husband plays golf, I use the gym and we enjoy the main restaurant on a regular basis. So thankful to have this lovely place in our neighborhood and look forward to meeting new friends there!

Amazing service at the restaurant! The staff are professional and always have an outstanding attitude! Tuesday-Taco night is an absolute TREAT that never disappoints us. If you're looking for great food and A+ service overlooking the lake and the golf course, stop by!

I just moved to the area and I had no clue about this gem. This is one tough track, 7300 yards from the tips and an all new clubhouse make this one great private club! We are anxious to join real soon. This is one challenging track, with Lake Ray Hubbard views all around it.

Well manicured. Big improvement over recent months. Just wish my drives were straighter.

Rockwall Golf & Athletic Club is such a fun place to do things if you're a kid like me, when I go with my friends, we usually play tag or hide & seek! Best Golf Club I've ever been to!

We used the conference hall and it was so beautiful with a great view of the golf course and lake.

Don t have your wedding here! Horrible staff! They went through 3 wedding coordinators in a matter of 6 months.

This place is fantastic. The food is delicious, the people are great, and the view relaxing! I had stuffed avocados. Oh My Goodness! That was an experience in itself! One full avocado cut in half, filled with grilled stake sauteed with onions and peppers, placed on top of a lettuce leaf, served with a side of rice and the best pinto beans I've had in Rockwall. The parking is easy to access, although they are doing some renovations on it as of now. It has a nice drop and pick-up zone. Did not see any wheelchair access, but I'm sure you can find someone to help. The main interior room has a nice window wall that let's in a lot of light. The bar is also in the main room. To the right on the main room is the terrace, which is bigger than the main room. Right after the terrace is the pool that has a kid area and plenty of sitting area. Also next to the pool there is a volleyball court. Going down the stairs of the terrace / deck, there's a pub and a golf store as well as the golf course management. In front of this there is a sitting area as well as some other games. They have about ten golf carts. Te view of the lake is great! I would recommend this place to anyone, but you have to be a resident, since this is a private golf course. If you do have the chance to go, don't hesitate to do so, since you will enjoy every single second here. Unless you have a fight with someone, in that case, solve things first and then come here.
