Rockland Federal Credit Union is the best bank to do business with south of Boston. My daughter recommended it to my wife and l and we are so grateful. They have courteous personnel and their banking privileges are above reproach.
Worst bank on the PLANET!! Cannot pay online, charges for paying over the phone, reports loan defaults IMMEDIATELY. RUN! I only got a loan through them because they were the only bank the sketchy car dealer worked with. INSTANT regret, and I am still paying for it. Gave me a credit hit and now can not refinance my house. They harass the HELL out of you. Buyer BEWARE!!!
This is not only my favorite credit Union it's also my favorite location for this particular credit Union. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and I rarely have to wait in line. I also use the ATM and that also is usually available in a prompt manner.

I couldn't have had a worse experience with Rockland Federal. If you want a bank set in the Stone Age that makes you print, fill out, sign and return forms to get setup on Autopay, then loses the forms and doesn't each back out before reporting to your credit bureau, this is your bank. I have 820 credit and EXCELLENT relationships for both my business and personally. We are filing a complaint as well with the BBB and looking at other options as well.
Could be the worst banking institution ever. They have no communication and when you actually talk to someone they cannot get their stories and excuses to coordinate. Awful experience. Also their policies are for the 1800 s. Bank is a joke

I've had the worse experience with this branch regarding an unauthorized hard credit inquiry made by them & showed on my credit report. Since July (over 2 months) I've been going back & forth with the Collections Dept. at this bank to have this credit inquiry removed from my credit report! I've been talking to Monica in Collections & her manager (a male employee, can't remember his name). It's almost October & I am still waiting for a formal written letter that I contacted them & that this credit inquiry was not authorized by me & nothing! I had tentatively submitted a credit application at a dealer ship, and clearly made it known to this dealership that they were NOT to pull my credit report until I discussed negotiation on the price of the vehicle & this dealership ignored my request NOT to pull my report until the owner dropped the price of the vehicle! To make a long story short after I submitted emails & everything I had as evidence to this bank so they could contact the credit bureaus to have this hard inquiry removed they never helped & or moved a finger even though they said they did. I called Experian myself & they never heard from Rockland like the manager & the associate Monica said! So frustrating dealing with something that this bank makes so complicated when a call & a letter could resolve this whole issue!
