I have never encountered such an un-responsive court system in my entire life. It's always a voicemail answering, and they never return calls. So sad to see that they're ok with this current state of affairs.

We're pretty much done filing here. State & Sup court from now on. You don't get stamped filed cases back, they don't pick up the phone, they take forever to issue/renew fifa's, and they refuse to look up cases by Defendant's name. Probably the only county in the state that won't do that it makes no sense to me. If Rockdale Magistrate wanted to be "special", they've succeeded.

They seem to have slipped back into their old ways. Over the last couple months I've had to call them for a number of cases and have just been getting voicemail box. I wouldn't even have an issue with this if they actually returned calls, which I can say with confidence they do NOT. Ever.

Seems a gal named Michelle has taken over phones there. She's been tremendously helpful lately. I bumped this review up to 3 stars seems like they are actively working to get a handle on the phone situation. Good to see.

Been working for various firms over the last 7 years. Last couple years they have had the worst issue answering the phone. Doesn't matter if you leave a voicemail they never return calls. Ever.
This is not an angry review from one bad incident, this is legitimately how it's been for over 2 years now. They need to get it together.
These folks are the faces of dumb ! I ask a simple question if I live in one county and the person I m suing lives in another which court should I file! The lady explain that s legal advice! It s not and if you were competent enough it would be on your website, but continue!! The brain cells are depleted in this place
not sure why they have a phone if no one ever answers it? last time in court, I requested assistance for the hearing impaired - believe it or not that is not available in this backwoods courtroom. I was told to bring someone with me, which was impossible. I would've been much luckier if I spoke spanish only. During court, the judge kept talking solely to legal counsel for plaintiff and I'd have to repeatedly ask for him to repeat, he acted as if that angered him. Legal counsel - handed him copied papers that showed no proof of account ownership, which he took and reviewed, but he would not review anything that I handed him. They won, but not for long, hired another attorney to appeal in state court to present the EXACT same thing I did in magistrate court that judge would not review. The company filing these bogus cases is now defunct, and there's a class action case filed due to their ignorance of the law. pathetic.

After several months of dealing with Rockdale Magistrate court with no improvement in service. Nice nasty employees who never listen to a question and only have one answer. Backwards practices and delayed responses. I ve decided to move my complaints to their Judge and judicial staff. After all these are people we voted for and services we may for and something should be received in return outside of fee and generic answers. Rockdale is by far the worst county to deal with for legal matters. And you would think that after all the complaints change would occur but nothing happens and I m on a quest to find out why. Why they don t stamp your documents when received. Why every question is a legal one. Why the court cost don t include a copy of the claim being filed. Why efile is an option but no one is trained to retrieve the applications. Why phone calls are never returned. Why the office staff can t follow up on a case they didn t personally accept in the court. Why the turnaround time is worse than large counties triple the claims. Why their website it virtually pointless. Why the ladies working talk under their breath and never to you. Why the have actual employees working if the only options are to drop off forms. Why they don t give case numbers when you submit s claim. Why if you bring single bills for a copy, no change is given! If service is the bare minimum get rid of the people and just give us a computer, the results are exactly the same!
The worst county in the state of Ga to work with on anything. Their policies favor the folks that dodge the system. The ladies in the magistrate court only have one thing rehearsed to say and that I can t give you legal advice . The question could have been, regarding the date of the week and they can t answer. They have an online system that doesn t actually work. When you file a case, the fee doesn t include a copy of the documents the court provide. It s almost like stepping back into 1928 when you go there with everything. The people i voted into office for this court will not get my vote again.
Why do they even have a phone number if no one ever answers and it's not set up to leave a voicemail. They really need to do better this is so frustrating.
This is literally the worst public office I have ever had the unfortunate opportunity to experience! I live clear across the country and have no way to drive to the court house to get information, and they never, ever answer their phone! Absolutely useless and disgraceful! Your tax dollars hard at work people!
This place is a joke they don't answer the phone .I filed my complaint Six weeks ago paid my fee fee and have heard nothing.next step is to file a complaint .this elected official should step down before someonre files charges against them. If you can't handle the job just go away and they did.

I ve been calling them for well over 30 days and they NEVER answer the phone!! No matter what time I call DURING BUSINESS HOURS... they never answer!! They also never return messages and it seems the only option I have is to drive 39 miles to get them to answer a simple question. What the heck is going on down there Rockdale County Magistrate?!?
