Great atmosphere, excellent service. THAT SHEPHERD'S PIE THO!

Have been coming here for 10 years. Sure would like to see the menu change once in a while.

Nice bar decent prices was crowded the day that I went day Thanksgiving Eve

Great food, great service, great atmosphere, everything is great... The beer is just super average. Every now and then they knock one out of the park, but their everyday lineup is just ok. We'll keep coming back

The food was okay, prices were fairly high for the quality of food. Don't know of we'd go back.

Great place to have a beer. Doesn't feel crowded in the seating area, as it has a pretty wide-open floor. Get a beer and some dinner here.

Good atmosphere with life music. However the food has no taste. We went there for a birthday party and we end up going somewhere else to have food. No one liked their food or drinks.

Love the food and atmosphere here. We even had some issues with a few carryout orders (some things we ordered and paid for weren't in the bags when we got home). We wrote the general manager on Facebook just to inform them that this happened a few times and the manager was very quick to get in contact with us and was very kind. Next time we ordered all of our food was there. So I'll give the customer service 5/5 as well!

Beer and food are good but seating is a bit concern unless you are family members living together. I met my friends but we should sit face to face and side by side.

It's ok. I'm not into the bar scene, and they crammed our party into a dinky area with almost no place to sit, and only one tray of food came out for four hours.

Fast, friendly service. Drinks are reasonably priced. Tables were appropriately spaced apart. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great night out!

Great food and great beer, the Sheppard's pie is amazing but enough for 3 meals the wait staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is nostalgic I highly recommend it

Great beer selection....has a funky smell when you walk in...not appealing....food was good and weird smell was gone after a pint or two...sitting outside on a nice day would be the ticket!

Always a decent place to grab a beer, you can count on a consistent base menu for craft beers with some rotating seasonals as well. Happy hour is awesome, with pretty cheap pints. It gets busy during the holidays and weekends, but usually getting a bar table or seat is decently easy. I would love to see them venture into sour beers!

Very good food and drinks. The negatives were...No Whipped cream for my wife's specialty and..No crackers to go with our food! Very strange at best!

Rochester Mills is one of our favorite places in Rochester to spend an evening. Good food, great beer, great entertainment and good friends!! Fun atmosphere also!

Is it because I'm a party of 1 young black male? Since I'm by myself I decided to sit at the bar. A male and female are working behind the bar and its literally 5 minutes before the young lady says she'll be rite with me. More than 5 minutes goes by and she's serving someone who came in atleast 3 minutes after me. After I got up and went to the Hostess station and asked if I could have a table and was kindly assisted. After that Faith was my waitress and was very nice and consistent in making sure I was enjoying my meal.

Bring back Thai pizza please goes nice with lazy daze

Rochester Red is one of my top 3 favorite beers right now.

Awesome atmosphere ; so lucky to live by and be able to get my favorite beer right off the tap where it is brewed.

Good food, great atmosphere... housed in a historic building with high ceilings. Outside seating is available. Moderate food prices. The salmon dinner was really tasty.

This is one of the best places in the city. The building, the service, the menu, the food, and the craft beer are all top notch. Reasonably priced.

Been coming here for 10+years. Beer is and has always been average. Food quality has went down. Today I had a burger, the bun was hard as a rock, stale, overcooked and dry. I sent it back and I got another stale bun. Fries were good.

Free pool Sun-Thurs and ALWAYS a great selection of craft brews!
Their cocktails are something to see as well but this place is my favorite to visit in downtown Rochester.
Love their sweet potato fries too !

Had a side room with a 25+ party. RJ was our waiter and he was excellent! The service was fast and efficient. The food was great! Our event was very smooth.

This is a nice location off the main road. The sidewalk leads to the hotel and private residence on the other side of the location. I saw many people walking and riding their bikes. There is a gazebo and bridge nearby. Inside is large, social distancing was being practiced, the restaurant seemed to take health safety seriously without making it a big deal about it, low key. The food was good, we had some good beers, my grandson had ice cream for desert. I had a Salmon sandwich with sweet potato fries, so good. The service was very good and friendly. I've been here before and I was not sorry I came back. This would be a great place for a big gathering in the future. The building is a renovation from Mill back in the 1800's, cool story behind it.

Enjoyed their Walking Mortal Boysenberry beer, it was so delicious! Light at only 3.5 ABV, yet full of flavor and has a great finish!
I am Normally a cider drinker, but this beer is something I would enjoy drinking anytime! It is right their with the Gypsy Goddess Radler which I also enjoy!
I only wish that the Walking Mortal Boysenberry was going to be available more often. They just serve it at Restaurant as a in house special for a limited time.
So I would suggest getting a growler to go!
I am just happy we stopped in when we did so that we got to try it!

This place was pretty good years ago when it was the only brewery around. The food isn't bad and they do have a delicious milkshake stout.

The selection was large. And the vuilding was also large. They were able to accomodate a party of 30+

Good beer, solid food options and great atmosphere. I always love checking out their seasonal beers. The winter red velvet ale is awesome. This place gets crazy packed on the weekends so be prepared to wait 1-1.5 hrs if you aren't there before 5 for dinner.

My office reserved space here for a Christmas party. Food was good and they have a few pool tables. Don't know how their beer is cause I didn't drink.

Under the limited covid circumstances my guy and I came to one of our comfort spots to sit and enjoy a meal and a beer after a long workday. Due to strange distance regulations Manager ALex allowed us to wait out on the patio to enjoy a moment while we waited to order food and take in the moments of being out. THANK YOU ALEX !!
