I would give them 5 stars but today I had the beer cheddar soup and let's just say they should call it salt cheddar soup I very much did not like it. So 4 stars but good food otherwise and service.

Rochester Mills Brewing Co has been one of my local staples for years. While there have been a few visits that were less than satisfactory, management has always taken care of things appropriately. Other than those few times, the food, beer, and atmosphere is great for a relaxing, good dinner. Everything I have ever tried on the menu is great. Some of my favorites include their wings, lobster mac and cheese, fish tacos, and the stir fry. Honestly, everything on the menu is great.

If you're looking for good food and good beer so good prices, Rochester Mills will not disappoint.

Super busy, and almost completely full when I went there for the first time. I would suggest going outside of busy dinner hour if at all possible. The beer is great!! I really enjoyed it! Also, Try the Pretzels! you won't be disappointed!

Overall the food was excellent, as well as our service from our server. My only concern was the hostesses. We went in to the brewery on Friday evening fully understanding that there would be a wait. I wait for over an hour in the lobby of the building since there was no space in the lobby of the restaurant. There were plenty of other customers waiting in the main lobby as well. My group was simple by passed in the wait because we were not waiting with in the restaurant and they had ran out of buzzers. When a table that had come in after me was seated, I finally went up to the counter and asked what the issue was,why I had not been seated, and where I was in the list. At this point I was two page into the wait last, where there had been people behind me on the list had been seated. Neither one of hostesses had come out to the main lobby to see if their guest were there. See as it was a busy Friday night one would assume that the hostess would come out of the restaurant to see if some of their patrons were waiting since there was not ample room within their establishment.

Last night, my husband and I arrived at 6:30 PM for a 7:00 PM reservation and waited for our tables to be setup for a large group of 40+. We were seated seated around 7:10 PM as part of a group of about 40 former Rochester Mills Bike Club members who have been faithful weekly customers and supporters of this establishment for many years. After waiting more than 30 minutes after seating for a server to take our drink order, my husband attempted to order a beer with money in hand at the bar. He was told by bartender John, who was not overly busy at that time, that he would not serve us, that we had to wait for service at the table. Two other members of our group were at the bar with him as well and they were also denied service. He then talked to the manager on duty and was given a very poor explanation of why service was not possible at the bar. He had witnessed others being served by walk up at the bar. Following his failed attempt, I also attempted to get served at the bar and was denied. I expressed my dissatisfaction to John about the poor table service, denial of service at the bar and said I was going to post this shabby treatment on social media. John asked me to leave his establishment and accused me of threatening him. I said I was not leaving and he told me he was going to call the Rochester police to have me removed. Note that I'm talking about a group of predominantly senior citizens who have patronized this establishment for many years. A few minutes later four Rochester police officers arrived and told us we had to leave and even mentioned that we should try other local offerings in the area. UNBELIEVABLE! We packed up and left along with the majority of our large group. We will never be back. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area that are better managed and know how to treat repeat customers. Besides, since new management took over early Fall, they made some menu changes and raised prices on almost everything by $2. And the new food choices are mediocre.

I like the atmosphere and the neighborhood. Service was a bit slow, especially considering it was a Tuesday evening with very few customers. But the food was pretty good. I would return, for sure.

The place is large & has good seating. The staff is friendly, but seemed a bit harried even though it wasn't too busy when we were there. Our server did a great job of making some suggestions based on what I said I liked.

This place has many good beers and they take the time to let you try whatever ones you'd like to make sure you have an enjoyable experience. The food here is also good, I have not tried everything on the menu so I cannot speak for all items. The service was a bit poor however they were busy and that is to be expected at times. Overall a good experience with good beer and food. Would highly recommend.

We got a great patio seat on a sunny, beautiful evening. There was a live band. It was really chill and laid back. The sweet potatoe fries were to die for! Oh how i love me some sweet potatoes...in any form. I ordered the salmon sandwich which was excellent. The raspberry rattler is refreshing on a warm sunny day. They also sell all of their beer in cans on site. Bonus!

This is a great Brewery! Really wish we lived closer! Loved the layout, the bartender was friendly and informative about the history of the Rochester Mills Beer Company. The beers were excellent, especially love the seasonal shandy Cloudy McClouderson. The IPA, red Ale and New England IPA were delicious as well. Happy hour specials look amazing! Will definitely be back to this area! So glad we decided to check it out. One of our favorite breweries we've visited so far!

Beer is good. Service wasn't up to par. Waited 30 plus minutes before a server came out taking an order. Multiple people came by saying "server X" would be with us momentarily. Food came out not so hot. Fries had the texture of food that had been sitting under a lamp for a while. Forget about ordering a medium burger. Might as well not asking the customers how they would like it cooked.

Food is ok, but the atmosphere and beer is Awesome! Great place to meet up with friends. The Mills has a nice sized private room in the back that has a bar. Very nice for hosting a party. Also, the Mills hosts an Oktoberfest event in their back parking lot once a year. They do a really nice job with putting on the whole event.

Have been coming here more regularly lately. Nothing to complain about. Consistently good food and the service is good as well... I really like the atmosphere here, although, when busy it can bea wee bit noisy. I'm sure it's not for everybody but that's my take...

The martini and stout were excellent. I wanted a steak - $28.00 ouch. I ordered the fish and chips dinner. The fish was soggy and steamed itself on a piece of lettuce. The fries were underdone. My daughter ordered the Michigan salad which was lacluster. No bread or cracker with the salad. $50.00 later, we left. Best part of the meal was our waiter.

We dined in on Sat march 27th, we had 6 adults and a baby ( 9 months old) we sat at the table and asked for a highchair the server said that she could not get us a highchair..because we could only have 6 PEOPLE at the table. I told her to turn around there were two other tables with 6 adults and a highchair they would not accommodate my child.... Also, the manager came to the table and rudely try to explain her self.. yet still no highchair... we will not be back. We have celebrated many big events at this restaurant... but they definitely lost our business. ... also services was slow... and food was cold.

Great place to visit if first time in Rochester area. Food is good, beer is great atmosphere is LOUD.
3 star rating is for the locals, place hasn't changed menu in years, they've deleted things but never had much variety. When the place is busy, the service takes a hit. All the servers are really great, just overwhelmed. The only brewery around is why the place does so well. So much potential, but needs an update with food after so many years. Needs more hands on deck when busy. No one should have to sit for 10 minutes without being asked if they want a drink. It's not a server problem, it's a management problem.
