Rochester Mills Beer Co. Review

Had a great time with buzztime trivia. Bartender, Maddy, was super attentive. I recommend sitting at the bar.

Five stars for the beer always, food was just okay though. Was kinda disappointed in my burger.

The food and beer here is excellent, with a variety of options including vegetarian choices; however, the service was the slowest I've ever received in the Rochester area

We have been going to Rochester Mills as a favorite spot to stop for a beer and nachos for years. We have celebrated birthdays, graduations and just stopped in when biking with friends. I'm not sure what has changed but the bar tender and management have been rude on more than one occasion and I don't think they realize they are in the service industry.
Unfortunately, they have lost our business as Rochester has many good bar/restaurants to choose from.

The brews, the food, the scene - all make for an enjoyable evening. Whether you enjoy light or dark lager, Rochester Mills Beer Co. has a great selection of microbrews that will make you create new reasons to come back.

Food is great! They require a mask be worn when walking. Once at your table, you may take it off. I smelled bleach so they're cleaning well. Employees wear masks. 1st time at restaurant since January!

Rochester Mills is an outstanding restaurant and is great for holding entertainment in the evening/night. Their food is outstanding. I have gotten pulled pork and fries there(outstanding), and their burgers are outstanding their as well. The Rochester Mills is one the best restuarants in the Metro area. Also the service is outstanding and the employes treat their customers with respect and values. My favorite entertainment performers that I have watched is Barney and Cassie in a two piece band. I liked that they played nice soft and relexing music and a good variety of music. The owner should be proud of the job he is doing running the place it is top notch here.

Michael, Julia, and Jessica did a fabulous job at making our party of 30 great. The tables were set-up prior to arrival, service during the party was superb, and great memories were had by all. Thank you Rochester Mills Brewery and staff for your efforts

I have lived in this great state of Michigan for 4 years with all the beer available Rochester Mills Beer Company is the best when it come to milkshake stouts and my favorite Water Street, German- style wheat beer. This is a great place to eat grab a unique beer or stout followed with great food and friendly staff, hope you enjoy!

Good vibes. Staff seemed a bit stressed out. Volume too loud on the sound system for band. We had to scream to talk. Great beer options. Pool tables a big plus. Overall a great place to hang with friends.

Great service. Surf and turf pasta was great not but the walleye was bland.

Been here for a few birthdays. Call ahead and make reservations. Good food and beer. Winery down the street too if you have to wait a while.

Well. The 45-60 minute wait time turned into an hour and a half. While tables sat empty. The waitress was great, food was good. Rochester Red beer was very good.

At every points of your experience, from the general manager who greeted me at the door to the bartender who made sure I had the perfect beer to go with my super wonderful calamari order, this is one of the top restaurants in the entire area!

We went last night fory husband's birthday. We ordered four dishes: one of which was an appetizer that they didn't bring out until after we had eaten our mains. Not even an apology. Fast forward to the middle of the night and the entire family has food poisoning. Terrible.

Nothing bad to say about the Mills. They have great beer, and the best buffalo chicken mac and cheese! The staff is also good and the prices are very fair for what you get. If you are in the Rochester area this is a must stop and try place!!

Came here with some friends on a Saturday night came in and the restaurant manager saw I was wearing a young bucks shirt(wrestling thing) completed me on it. We were seated very quickly and greated by DJ our waiter and let me to you this if you are there on a Thursday-Sunday ask for DJ as your waiter he is without a doubt the best waiter I have ever had. He was quick with getting our drinks very informative on drinks and the menu and just all around down to earth and was an amazing person! After we got our food and ate the people we were with ordered dessert and me and my girlfriend did not since we had eaten a bit earlier in the evening DJ came back with a bowl of ice cream with fudge and a cherry and said I can't leave y'all out when everyone else is having dessert! Amazing staff great food,drinks and an amazing environment to be in! Would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

walked in, saw a giant beach party and live band, had several amazing beers at only $3 each, and suddenly was given a $20 Rochester Mills gift card and a free pint glass by the manager. 10/10 would recommend and will be back (frequently).

Great beer, good food! Large seating area can get a bit noisy, but not so loud that you cant have a conversation. Service is good. Parking can be tough during peak times.

First off, if you're into IPA's, ask to be seated in Sean's section. He is awesome, and will find you the perfect one to suit your tastes. Was dining in with a large group, 9 adults, 2 kiddos, and had a pleasant experience, even when the restaurant filled up for dinner. I had the jambalaya, which was almost spicy enough for my tastes (like it hot). The group also enjoyed the pretzels, queso, and devil dogs (group favorite). The kids meal chicken is a great bang for your buck. Thanks Sean, hope to see you next time.

We went to go and wanted to sit outside. We had 6 people and wanted to separate and do 3 and 3 so we could be outside and social distance. They refused to do it. Never going back to there again. Very disappointed with the way this was handled.

The food was great but the service could have been better. Our server skipped over taking someone's order in our party. Then she forgot our order and had to come back and take it again. Overall it was good.

Enjoyed our meals (Fish & Chips, Salmon Sandwich). Service was good, but what really impressed me was the adherence to Covid-19 policies. Every employee I saw was wearing a face mask over their nose & mouth. (Several places I've been have gotten lax and the employees are pulling the masks below their noses so only their mouths are covered.) They is a ton of space between tables to insure social distancing, and there is a scannable QR code on the table so no handling menus.

Half off appetizers sounds good. But unfortunately none of them are very good even tho they sound like it. Very cheap quality food and in turn not very good, yet asking for 13-14$ a plate. If your into atmosphere and alchohol, then you will enjoy. If you want good food for 13$, go somewhere else.

It may be crowded and loud on Saturday nights. Going with kids I prefer Sundays or lunch when it's quieter. Great food and great service.

I always wanted to to try this place , and today was my first time, its covid situation, but I can still say its good experience, but not as expected.
The food is good though.

We ordered a wine but they didn't have the same brand they said we have another brand similar so we said yes, it ends up its champagne not wine , lol , but we drink it and celebrate the covid season.

They have billiards and sale of bottled beer. The menu is varied and the food rich. Wide variety of beers! Recommended for an afternoon / night with friends.

My most recent visit I didn't get food but it is usually good. I like the atmosphere but usually on every visit to the mills the service is awful. We did go during peak bar time but our waiter would come by maybe once every 30 minutes. There was live music which is nice but it was far too loud. I was trying to talk to the person next to me and I was screaming and they still couldn't understand what I was saying. Their martini's are very good but their menu needs updating. Everything that they had listed on their menu they didn't have. Mediocre experience at best.

Love the beer selection and live music. This place is always packed because of the fun atmosphere! Food is average overall. I'd say if you're trying to go anywhere with a large group in downtown Rochester, this is the place you'd have the best luck not only with drink and food variety, but also space!!

Beer is great , food is good, service was good too. Came a few months back joined the birthday club ( which I love the idea) had a few beers and dinner. Great atmosphere. Fun night out!

I go here all the time, all the staff is great and I love the interior openness of the building! Oh and great beer! Gotta love the Juice Bigelow!

I went to Rochester Mills Beer Company for my Birthday lunch with my best friend. Their food is awesome ! I highly recommend this restaurant!
