I bought a ticket ahead of time since I was coming in from out of town and my friend was in the company. My plane was delayed and I called to let Will Call know I could be late. Upon arrival I was denied seating to my originally seat since they do not allow late arrival. When I was at my seat in the balcony and settled approximately 10 minutes later an usher came to review my ticket. They noted I was in the wrong seat and when I explained to them I arrived very late to the show they proceeded to kick me out. The usher said I was displaying drunken tendencies such as I was unable to walk, hold a conversation, or display an interenernce in the performance. When I was shocked and bewildered by these acucations they proceeded to claim I was unfit for theatre. I showed them my plane ticket to prove I was late for a theatre for a reason. Nick the security supervisor was extremely rude and kicked me out. He proceeded to stop me along the way of exiting and explain to every employee I was a security risk and shouldn t have been remitted into the building. Once the show was over I waited outside for my friends and he told me I couldn t gather on a public side walk. He let all of my friends out of the same door once he realized who I was with he apologized and said I was more than welcome to come back into the house and congratulate my friend who was in the show. I of course refused and said I was fine to wait outside for my friends to come out of the exit. The security and the ushers at this theatre are so unprofessional and on such a power trip they I refuse to see any other show at this theatre, especially if you re flying in to support a friend the night of.

I love being able to see musicals at the auditorium theatre.we see 3 to 4 shows every year
I am a tall thin woman, However the seats are so small and no room to move..i leave there entertained and in discomfort from the seats..I would enjoy more shows if the seating was alil better.

Beautiful was fabulous. The actors were great. I highly recommend this play for anyone who loves musicals or Carole King. Parking, however, wasn't great. I prepaid for a spot in what I thought was the lot across the street and it turned out to be the lot a block away. With cold temps that wasn't... cool.

This is a wonderful place. They were amazing with my daughter and I. They accommodated her with her wheelchair. We have seen the little mermaid and the lion king. We will be returning for future events. Can't wait.

Beautiful, well kept theater. Booster seats available for children at no charge. Clean and plentiful restrooms. Good concession choices - typically have crackers and cheese, hot pretzels, sweet roasted nuts, candy, water, beer, wine. Bring a sweater or light layer. The cooler temperature is excellent for how close everyone is seated, but if you end up in seats near the AC vents you might be a little chilly. Expensive seats are roomier than cheaper and balcony seats. No free parking onsite or in nearby lots. Available street parking is very limited. There is an on-site box office with limited hours, get your tickets there to save on the ticket master surcharges. Group sales are available and it can be a lot of fun to organize and go with a large group of friends or co-workers.
Amazing broadway productions brought to town. This is so valuable to our community! I have been able to see so many more wonderful musicals than I would have if I had to travel to NYC to see them. I am very thankful for that!

Beautiful old building, the Rochester Auditorium Theatre. Great shows, concerts, comedy, etc. Do a good job of bringing in up to date events. Sound system needs improvement. Not good if you're up in the balcony. Parking is a problem.

Went here for a graduation, venue was clean but one of the security guards were not very hospitable he kept forcing people to sit in their seat when their child was getting ready to walk the stage. I understand that there needs to be order but to be so angry about it is another thing. Overall it was a good experience

I went to the play Come From Away. It was jaw dropping amazing! The building is beautiful. If you are a larger person, the seats are small and uncomfortable. You will have to pay for parking unless you get there VERY early to find one of the few on street parking spaces.

The theatre itself is attractive if a little on the aged side. They've done a lot to make it user friendly. The seats are comfortable and the stairs and hallways are easily managed even in the crowds. The staff is very helpful, I have absolutely no reservation about recommending this location to see a show.
As always, there are never enough women's restroom and so lines should be anticipated.
Most seats have wonderful views and sound was perfect. We saw Hamilton and it did not disappoint!
