Always something for me to do. People watching along the endless river is my favorite.
Excellent time. Park closed for T-Mobile only party and ALL the park staff did a fantastic job. From ride attendants, food service, gate staff...just great overall experience. If I had to give ANY feedback, I guess I was a little disuaded by the 'wave pool'. It was essentially a large pool of tepid standing water. Granted, they we're hosting a d.j. and live music there, so giant waves and turbulent water probably wouldn't have worked well, but,my feedback stands. Otherwise, awesome time! Great job Roaring Springs, and T-Mobile! Looking forward to next year!!
As someone who has worked there for the last 3 summers as a lifeguard, I ve seen a lot. Us as employees do everything we can to make sure the park is kept clean, make sure everyone is safe and also to make sure people are enjoying themselves. Yes I agree the food is way too overpriced but I ve also seen some say the lifeguards are trash which I disagree with and I m not saying that because I am a lifeguard. We work hours among hours in the heat and spend so much time outside the park hours to train and keep our licenses up to date to make sure everyone is safe. Yes there can be improvement but just because there s one or two bad experiences with lifeguards, doesn t mean it s always like that. Also the reason we have you take shoes off on the slides is because we don t want you to have your foot get caught on the side of the slide cause that can cause injuries unless the tube is made for you to sit in with your feet inside like Thunder Falls, Avalanche and mammoth canyon. Saying we aren t family friendly is also very demeaning. We have rules for a reason and yea it may seem unfair that you can t have your child in your lap in the wavepool but that s to keep you two safe in case the waves flip the tubes over. I promise they are there for a good reason.
It was a little different because of covid. They limited the number of people in the wave pool and endless river. But the lines weren't bad and they were a blast.
This is easily the cleanest, friendliest, and well-staffed water park we have ever been to. If we lived in the area we would definitely have a season pass.
Roaring Springs is a awesome. The season passes are more than worth it. Especially of you live close and can easily visit after work during the week. I would suggest getting one of their cups too. Refills are only $0.99 and water is free. The food is good quality but a bit spendy so be prepared. You are allowed to leave though so you can easily grab a bite outside the park or have a picnic and re-enter. Lots of attractions for kids and adults.
Fun place to spend the day. Would be nice to have more restrooms throughout the park.
This is a wonderful place for family fun! Especially during these hot summer months. The negative side of this is they ask that people stay 6 feet apart, and yet they place all of the chairs right next to each other and do not limit the amount of people that go into the water park. This is the only thing that was not so good. We went on the weekend so the place was PACKED. Im just saying that if you are worried about social distancing than you may want to space the chairs out and limit how many people can enter. Also, the prices are insanely high.
Very clean, polite staff and lifeguards. Lots of great rides. There were a few slides not running, not clear why, but a bit disappointing.
It was a great place to hang out with some fam. I recommend that u would go there.
Grew up here with all of my friends, really loved it. Haven't had much time to go in a couple years, but it is always a blast especially in July and August when it is really hot!
Super fun park, they've made a lot of great changes. Food was very expensive!!
Its exremely expensive for if you want to just spend about 2 to 3 hours you have to pay full price, which is 25 dollars. Its ridiculously expensive.
Theres like 6 rides there, the only ones that are worth going on are the whirlpool lookin one and the slides that drops you from a trap door into a waterslide, that one is pretty cool.
It's great for the family. Only dislike its that my daughter couldn't ride most slides.
Wonderful park with a lot of different waterslide and food options. Great friendly staff. Perfect for friends and family to have fun at in boise area
Too expensive, I wish they had a normal pool, instead of a bunch of weird ones.
Lots of fun and was exciting p.s. the avalanche and the cliff hanger were pretty scary
So we go here every year for company party in every year since we started things seem to keep going downhill. This year when we arrived we were we were told that we would be limited to 4 beats us and we had to pick the toppings and then when one of the members of our group arrived there seemed to be an issue even though the tickets were already paid for and they had to get a supervisor involved to give us the already paid for tickets and wristbands. Everyone seemed unwelcoming and seemed like they didn't want us there. The only reason why I'm giving it a 3 star is because we forgot to tell them that there was someone who needed a gluten free pizza and they went ahead and made it for us. We are seriously reconsidering where we do our annual company party for 2020.
Great family summer fun! The employees are kind and energetic.
Love taking the kids there. Get a season pass it makes the best summer, for you & them.
So happy with our local waterpark! Great for all ages. Clean and Fun!
Lots of fun! My 6 year old got.the best of both worlds, kiddie cove and the big water slides that allow kids over 42" to ride with a taller guest! My kids had a great time!
Reserved a private cabana, had terrible wait service! There where atleast 3 water slides closed do to "maintenance" but they have been closed for the whole season!
Affordable but depending on when you go, it can be busy
Seven of us (ages 6-40) came on a Saturday and had a blast. Two quick notes:
1- some of the slides have weight restrictions and although we didn t run into any issues there were several riders who were turned away either because they were single or double riders who didn t make the weight limit or were a bit over the limit, and;
2- if you stop at a participating Sinclair and purchase 2 coke products you receive $6 off (up to 4 tickets). We saved 42+ dollars! Yay!
This water park is designed really well. There is ample table space on grassy areas, poolside areas with table and umbrella, and private spaces to rent.
The park has 3 main towers with different slides that accommodate 42 inches and 48 inches high. There are also a couple single slide towers. There is a good balance of tube and non-tube slides.
For smaller kids there are 6-7 slides and water features which is nicely spread out with ample space and poolside lounge chairs to watch your kids. Must be under 54inches to ride. For really small children there is also a separate wading area but it s much smaller.
The wave pool and lazy river were nice and like mentioned previously, we never felt crowded due to the parks design.
No outside food allowed in the park. Water is okay though.
Overall we had a great time, didn t wait too long in the lines, and experienced friendly staff and a clean park.
Very fun water park with excellent food. They have water rides for all ages and a kiddie pool for the toddlers.
It's a lot if fun even an area for the younger kids not interested in large attractions. Expect to spend some money if your doing food but there are a lot of discount days and evenings available for the budget conscious.
I give them 5 stars for their community involvement, especially the family that owns them. They are phenomenal people who do so much for our community in Valley County. Our boys got free tickets for reading in school. It's a great incentive. The park is fun, but my boys and I ran out of things to do after going on everything after a couple of hours, so we spent the next couple of hours going back and forth between the lazy river and wave pool which are quite ordinary. However, I only take 1 star away for this. Normally I'd deduct more, but the Pickard family is awesome and that makes up for the number of things to do at the park. Please support their businesses because then they can afford to continue their community engagement.
I think its a great place to cool off and have fun with the kids! It gets super hot out there and you must wear sandals! I know its kind of a given, but most people don't . I got blisters on my heels and toes and the pavement feels like you're walking on hot coals! Be careful and make sure you and your kids wear sandals! Also, its a very fun place, all the waterslides are fantastic and the employees are very nice
Fun place to hang out. Definitely recommend the season pass, it will save you a lot of money.
Had a lot of fun. Shading more of the cement would be helpful.
We have so much fun every time we go here. They have something for everyone, whether you're a scaredy-cat like me or a dare-devil like some of my friends. It's a great place to go in the summer
It's great fun. Grab your sunscreen and don't forget to bring a towel.
Only downside was how crowded it was, employees were friendly and the water was a great escape from the summer heat
Had the absolute best time here! All the staff is so kind and friendly, very clean establishment, many things to do for families and kids of all ages. Highly recommend water shoes or sandals as the pavement is extremely hot and little shade offered.
GREAT FAMILY FUN! Roaring Springs is a great place to spend the day. Plan for long lines. A good attitude around the park from employees is noticable. Safety standards make it comfortable to let younger kids enjoy the park without parents having to shadow them.
Bought my family of 4 tickets and a cabana. Had lunch and snacks, spent well over $300 for a day with the family to be accused by an employee that I didn t pay for the cabana.
After proving with my receipt that I had no sorry or nothing, like I was an inconvenience to them.
Horrible experience
Over price on the food and drinks it was Terrible. We will not be coming back. We will go spend are money at Lagoon in Utah at-least you can take a cooler and lawn chairs and enjoy yourself. I would Rather spend 56.00 apiece and be able to take my own food. I don't want to be Forced to buy some food and drinks.
It's okay, not too much fun. I'll see you in 16 year .
It was the best thing ever but the works did not Care there were like a wall
Horrible experience. They shouldn t be back open in a pandemic as they cannot manage social distancing in their overcrowded park. It s not being enforced at all and is a completely unsafe environment. They say they re at 50% capacity and yet the parking lot was completely full. Also, beware booking a cabana for slide night and read the fine print. It looks like it s from 6-10, but is actually 830-10pm.
Fun place to escape auditing and be a kid again.. Fun for all ages
Long lines, eh food, eh service, but really fun with a group of friends. Packed to the brim but it s because the city has grown to quick for this to be the only water park. Props for doing this well at such capacity
Food is a bit over priced but that's to be expected at a water park
One of our favorite summer events. It's a great place for large groups.
Had so much fun great for the entire family cliff hanger is one of the best slides I've been on ever
It was alright, except my girlfriend and I couldn't go on any rides together with the new weight restrictions.... I feel singled out and hugely embarrassed that they make you hop on a scale and weigh yourself in front of everyone... It would be easy to say loose weight, but people are selfish and look at themselves thinking that if they can keep a healthy weight anyone can. Unfortunately not everyone is the same. First and last time to roaring springs... I would rather fly to Denver and go to Waterworld than waste my time here being discriminated against!
Exciting water park with something for every age. Slides of all kinds and a couple of drop tubes. A really good burger grill and a Mexican food or hot dogs or ice cream stand is available. A family could easily spend the whole day here.
Traveled from Portland, Oregon to visit family and friends and decided on a day trip to Roaring Springs. For one adult and two children it was 100.00 a bit spendy, but worth it if your going to make a whole day trip out of it. The concessions were a good variety of burgers, carnival type food, and ice cold beverages including smoothies/lemonade/soda ect.... We purchased (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND) our tickets online and did not have to wait at all in line for the park to open. I suggest arriving 30 min prior to the water attractions opening to get a good spot in the shade and decent chairs. My 3 & 6 year old LOVED the Barefoot Bay children s area with lots of attractions for any young child s age, and I enjoyed sitting in the water with other parents, relating and relaxing. The lines for the large attractions were not horrible. 15-25 min wait on some slides. The lazy river was great and we never waited more than a few for tubes. It is really unfortunate that you can not bring ANY food/beverages into the park. Beverages at the least would be helpful for little kids. That is really the only downfall as the food is a bit expensive for a just okay meal. For us, one adult and two children with the park entrance fees and lunch/snacks/drinks it was about 150.00. All in all it was an awesome day I we can t wait to go back next summer!
The new Barefoot Bay is great for our toddler. There was plenty of seating around the pool, but may be busier as summer break hits.
Visited this place last summer with my good friend great place.
The lines were reasonable at the start and we were able to take many rides.
Great place for groups, or to take the family. Great area for little ones, and all swimming areas are well monitored by life guards. Food is expensive, but that is pretty much par for the course. I've only been at night during special events, and it's excellent on a hot summer night.
From the people parking you to the staff in the park, they are awesome!
They may have a lot of different options for food but it is so expensive and sub sandwiches are ok but it appeared the person who made my sandwich wasn't trained on how to make it. Also the little pool by the lazy river was disgusting and very dirty, they definitely don't clean it from what I could tell. They also need to do a better job of cleaning up the park!
The rides were really fun just wished they had more
Forcing people to wear masks outside? Gross. Thanks for ruining this for people that think for themselves. Sheeple.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our "family fun day one day getaway" The attractions are great and the staff was friendly. Each person we encountered made a point to ask if we were having a good time and interacted with our two boys.
Great place for kids and adults. Slides and pools for all ages. Lots of lounge chairs and shade available.
Absolutely loved this place. Kid friendly, super safe, teens were enjoying their freedoms and smiling with such happiness it was awesome to see! Covid was not impactful here and it really felt great. My kids goggled all day. My sister and I had so much fun! Definitely will go back!
It's very fun however very expensive... I would recommend it for sure! AND it's connected to another really fun place; wahooz! (One again, also very expensive)
