The park is a amazing but some of the life gauds is really mean. The person was a head life guard, and he was really mean to the people going doing the slide and to me I was not happy about that. I hope you read this and talk to your staff.
Little kids area packed and overwhelming. Need more in water toys for kids to play on. One fish, one fox one boat and 2 little slides for that many kids are not enough for that many in water little ones. Could use .ore shade and toilets.
Clean place and the lifeguards are awesome. I witnessed one of their surprise drills. Great job!
Absolutely crazy...I didnt know you could have so many different waterslides that could be so intense. They have a calm river to leisurely float around also so something for everyone. One drawback was its pretty expensive. Adults $34.00 for all day. They also have fast food stands.
It's a blast, prices are outrageous... For everything.
Its the 2 time we going its fun and good for all people
Super fun place to bring kids! Kid area was recently expanded with more slides. I also love the lazy river that circles the park. If eating on site, remember to bring lots of cash or purchase meal tickets for a better deal!
HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!
My 6 year old daughter got a buy one get one free coupon for the park. We went to the park on July 29th at 4:00 pm. At this time ticket prices were half price. However cashier told us since we have a coupon we have to pay the FULL price for a HALF day. I refused to pay the full price since everyone was paying the half price. I talked to the cashier, supervisor, and a manager but no avail.
Shame on you Roaring Springs management!! You are using schools to bring customers to your park and overcharge them. What an opportunist, discriminatory policy! You earned some extra money now, but you lost many repeat visits and referrals!! I will not recommend this greedy park to anyone.
This was our first visit to the park. I was leery about the place due to some of the reviews in Google. But the heat this Sunday needed to be beat. We decided to take a chance.
Annabelle, the cashier, was very friendly. She took our money with a smile.
Upon entry to the park, which was not too busy for a hot Sunday afternoon, we made a b-line for the rental lockers. $10 for a small locker seemed fair. I rather liked the keyless system, as I didn't want to have a tan line on my wrist from a key and bracelet. I got a locker on the bottom of the rack, which I wasn't happy about. My knees and back are bad; bending over really hurts.
After stowing our stuff, we set about a quick tour of the park.
The grounds are spacious and well manicured. Green grass dots the park, which offers a respite from the murderously hot concrete we were forced to walk on. I wonder if there is a way to cool the concrete?
One in our party is only five years old, so our choice in slides is a little limited. We started our day with a dip in the Endless River attraction. The water was cool, and shallow enough to walk in. There weren't too many people crowding the river.
We spent the next few hours moving from attraction to attraction, none of which are too far from each other.
There is a nice variety of slides that we could take our 43 inch grand daughter on. Lines, while not long, are mercilessly slow. I'm sure the speed at which the friendly staff can clear a line is governed by an insurance company. A full minute between riders? Come on.
We bailed on a few of the rides because they would've required an overnight pass to negotiate the slow moving lines.
All in all, this is a great water park. They pack in a lot of attractions in a small space. Prices are quite fair.
We will certainly go again.
Great place to bring the family with lots to do! Long wait time for the slides, probably my only complaint.
Had s great time with short lines and lots of options for the little ones
Great water park, but not so big that you get lost when you are there with your kids.
Pretty wide open. Get here earlier to save better free seats. Food not cheap but also not astronomical. Kids area wasn't too bad.
Great park with a lot of slides and a huge lazy river. It gets overly busy on Boise's regularly >100F summer days, although the Friday and Saturday extended evening hours are usually pretty reasonable, and they sell a cheaper ticket for those final 4 hours. It tends to get too cold late though.
The best local attraction to take the kids. There's also stuff to look at :)
Yesterday was my daughter's first day in the park she is 5. She is 48 inches tall and very shy. In the small child section, that does post children must not be over 48inchs is where we began our day. My daughter and her friend were playing and having fun. My wife evan asked the lifeguard if it was ok for her to be on the slides. Shortly after a shift change of lifeguards my daughter and her friend went up the stairs to go down the slide and my daughter came down in shock she had been kicked off the ride. My wife tried to reason with the young boy, but he is a bully. My daughter did nothing wrong, and he went out of his way to shame her.
Fun family place! We always take our out of town family with kids here. Food is not great and overpriced.
Great huge water park to spend a day at with family!! They are also doing a fantastic job of safety during covid. We'll definitely be returning!
A gross place over all. Over priced, long lines and rude staff
Fun and good food. Also get a cabana if you can, worth it!
Lots of great family fun! A great way to spend a hot summer day
We love the park . The food and drink prices are out of controll!
Lots of features to choose from. From small kids up to thrill seekers. Priced affordable for a family of 4. Food wasn't spectacular but also reasonably priced and varieties. Lots of lifeguards, clean bathrooms/changing areas.
Everything is awesome, food taste good, clean places, and the attractions are extra-cool.
The best one is the blue spring one.
Spending time with family and this best place to go.
It's your standard waterpark. It's about $30 to get in. But it's changed very little in the last decade adding only two new slides for a grand total of 12 slides/rides.
It's a really fun park if you're ok waiting in long lines, eating expensive freezer food, getting trampled in the wave pool and lazy river, and rescuing kids from drowning because the life guards aren't paying attention.
I used to love coming here years ago when it wasn't nearly as crowded but it's so bad now that it's often hard to find a spot to park in the overflow lot!
The only good thing about this is that is that it has a few good rides and the addition of bearfoot Bay for the little kids is fun.
The food here is terrible but the slides are fun and enjoyable. The majority of the staff are cool and nice, but a few are grumpy and sort of rude.
We love Roaring Springs! Something I particularly like is that the park has plenty to do for all day fun, but it's small enough, and planned so well, that I don't feel like I'm walking forever to get from one attraction to the next.
So much fun opening weekend! Hope the closed rides open soon!
It was perfect, especially since it was 109 degrees that day. Wish I could afford to take my daughter and 2 grandkids more than once a year. The kid that pooped in the kiddie pool sure put a damper on things for an hour or so. Staff got on it as quickly as they could.
Super clean facilities great adventures for the kids
Fun was had by all 10 of us! The big slides, wave pool and endless river are awesome for our kids over 10 and the new Bearfoot Bay was a hit with our 5 and under kids!
Slipped in the lazy river and got a staph infection. Still 5 stars though
Check into week day "cheap day" options ;) fun place even for toddlers.
Overpriced for the rides they have. Food is majorly overpriced and they have long lines for any of the slides and they should think about putting more grass in because you literally burn your feet walking from one ride to the next
There's water fun for everyone! Food is great and very reasonable for a park. Cabana Rentals are so worth the cost. Though have your own space. Iced water on the table, shade and sun, free locker, fan, sunshade, and even table service!!! This is our 2nd visit and we live out of state!
Totally fun place for the family. Worth a season pass.
love the brew kiddie pool! Heated water, 6 big slides, 2 little slides, & multiple water sprayers. My 1 1/2 year old LOVED it.
It was cold due to being the end of the season, but it's a fun place to go if you've got the money to do it.
My daughter has a disability. She is gaining a little independence by going to Roaring Springs by herself and with friends. It is a terrific, safe place for her to be and get the exercise she needs. The Staff and St Al's medical staff there as so WONDERFUL. They are all so extra friendly!!, helpful and encouraging to her. She is having a wonderful Summer! Thank you Roaring Springs.
It was so awesome! They have bigger slides and things for the older kiddos and they have an amazing kids pool area. 3 different slides, tons of different things you can go over and under. Not deep at all so it was perfect for my 2 year old to walk around in, I still recommend staying real close it does get crowded fast! They have lockers and changing rooms, they have a suvenior shop, places to eat and get drinks so you can spend the whole day here. Bring lots of sunblock time goes fast when your having fun!
This place was fun and the food was the service was pretty good as well.
I haven't been to this Roaring Springs since I was a child but nothing has changed about this place at all, it does seem more maintained though and has a few rides that give you a rush of adrenaline and me personally being easily scared about this stuff I screamed when going down one of the waterslides, LOL. The food is alright here as well and there's lifeguards in just about every nook and cranny if you need help
Extremely strict entry policy with no outside food or drinks. We had to go through all our bags and remove kids' snacks, etc. Kids have preferences & don't usually like snacks sold in parks like this. They prefer snacks from Japan. They should just make the cost of entry higher instead of pushing this policy.
Fun slides. I went as an 18 year old and it was fun, but 3-8 was the perfect time. I didn't feel the need to go all day, I would have gotten bored. Fairly busy so the lines were long too :/ I went on a weekend though...
The two for Tuesday deal (2 people for 30$ from 3:00-8:00) is definitely worth it!! I enjoyed it, but didn't feel the need to go all day.
Very expensive and so incredibly busy kids can't go on more than a couple slides the entire afternoon
Great park
The staff are very professional
