The food here is amazing. Complex flavors, well designed in every aspect from the recipe to the plating. Service was delightful, friendly and American as opposed to a more formal European service, but they will bring the food out however you desire. We wanted our appetizers brought as they were ready, but had we wanted to receive dishes together they would have defaulted to that. Delicious, well-crafted cocktails, seating for large groups or more intimate booths facing in to the rest of the restaurant. Perfect for date night or a business dinner, prices are a bit high for just "I'm hungry where should we go" night.

Went for happy hour; had the mussels, the duck frites, and the mushroom fritters which were excellent. (Frankly, they were so eye-catching, I forgot to take a photo of them). The duck fries were amazing, and the mushroom fritters were reminiscent of tempura style -- and don't forget to try the sauces. The mussels weren't as consistent as I would have liked (4 stars?) but the broth was good. In terms of the entrees, the cod and the chicken were ordered. The cod was excellent and worth reordering; the chicken was not as impressive. Both sides were fantastic.

ok I get that this place is pricey... but for a foodie like me this place is more than worth it! I came here for dinner and I cannot say enough about how truly special the food + cocktail is.
I had the RN74 special maple Manhattan cocktail and wow so they know how make a Manhattan here... simply sublime.
For appetizer I tried the Escargot and it was simply ambrosia.... the herb and garlic mix with the added pastry was an interesting twist.
For main course I ordered the wet-aged fillet (mostly because I had had so much seafood up to this point)... I have to say the steak was exquisite. I also ordered a side of mushroom which complimented the steak really well.
Hats off to the cheff ... this was a truly satisfying experience!

I highly recommend getting the "experience". It's definitely pricy, but it's well worth it. The only other restaurant that comes close for me (so far) is the Inn at Langley, which is quite a bit more expensive and a much different atmosphere. The food was cooked perfectly, I very much enjoyed foods that I generally dislike, and I ate too much bread... Be patient, they serve a lot of food and we were totally stuffed at the end.

Stopped by here the other day. Beautiful place with amazing staff. Salad and my wife s lamb order was excellent but they loose one Star since some of the food like salmon dish wasn t great for the money and over salted a bit. I d come back again though

Your bartender made an insulting comment to my girlfriend and i last evening that i would not expect from a highscale restaurant like yourself. I did not bother to waste my time arguing with him, very low class.

The place has a really nice decor. However, in my opinion, the food is pricey for what you get. On my last visit our booked table was 20 mins late, but my party did get a glass of prosecco each as an apology.

Those duck fat fried fries are mind-blowing! Really good happy hour, very nice staff, wonderfully designed place, great location. Cannot wait to go back when everything reopens (hopefully soon).

Now, if you are looking for a romantic place to dine, turn around. This place is far from romantic, but full of fun. It is loud, crowded and the place to be! I had the steak and it was cooked to perfection. They have some fun cocktails and we took our time to try most of them! We had a blast, and booked a table for the next day for lunch. Less hectic, yet still fun.Everything was great. The wine (Pinot noir), the steak, the fries, the pavlova... Id recommend the Anti Depressant cocktail!

Wow. This spot is great - low key, but a little fancy!! Great flavors and the lobster is a must add on side dish. Above average fries and delicious cocktails. They have a really cool (and loud) wine reader board for LAST CHANCE bottles of wine - v cool!!!

Love it! We caught happy hour and had a delicious late lunch. The drinks look good too, but we did not have a chance to try this time. I will be coming back to try some drinks as well as their dinner entrees. I came for escargots, but they weren t available for happy hour this time. All the dishes we ordered had fresh ingredients, creative flavors, and overall delicious.

Took my boyfriend out to dinner here for a special occasion. The restaurant is a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be. Our waitress was very nice and the food was awesome. We had such a fantastic experience here. For an appetizer we ordered the tuna tartare. they mixed it up table side. This dish is crazy good! One of the best tuna tartare I've had. I ordered the Pan Roasted Hatcher Chicken. The chicken was amazing! So much flavor. The mushrooms were too salty and the "gnocchi" was not really gnocchi. They were good, but just not gnocchi. My boyfriend got the steak frites and he absolutely loved it. The fries were some of the best fries we've had in a long time! Super crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside with a great garlic flavor. For dessert we got the apple tartin. perfect size! The thing I didn't like was it had a very strong burnt taste to it, like the caramel was burnt. I could not figure out where it was coming from. It kind of ruined the dish for me. Will definitely be going back!

This place has hands down the best bread. The waitstaff has explained it to me multiple times and I keep forgetting what's in it, I know there's some truffle oil and it's made in house. It's shaped kind of like a roll and comes with this amazing spread that's surprisingly not made out of butter.

Anyway, I'm a HUGE steak frites person and this place did not disappoint. Service was great and the food is top-notch, it's a Michael Mina restaurant. I'd recommend making a reservation as it's a bit more of an upscale restaurant.

In addition to the steaks, I'd recommend trying the mac and cheese (Beecher's!) and duck fat fries. Absolutely delicious.

This is where food and wine lovers go to eat and drink the best Seattle has. It doesn't matter if it's you and a date, a company holiday party or just stopping by for happy hour, it's worth the journey to come here.

Great, attentive service. Regional / country french cuisine was outstanding. Good experience with the patient and non-condisending staff. Very good value, great values on the wine list, overall a great dining experience thanks to the staff.

Fancy!

Overpriced, sloooooow service and extremely small portions. Left hungry after paying $75 for dinner at the bar. Move along to a better place unless you have money to burn and weight to lose.

An amazing encounter - wine, cuisine, and team of knowledgeable and professional staffs. Impressed by the sommelier Paul, we ordered a burg we would normally not choose due to its hot vintage (2003), appellation (pommard), and producer (Pillot). It was a bottle that awed and allured us from the first sniff. Waiting for it to open without emptying it was the hard part! Food was as impressive as the wine. Highly recommends the chicken, its juicy texture is as impressive as the complex flavour in the aged duck. Extensive wine list; Tight menu, but every dish we tried are cooked perfectly. Last but not least is the team, all knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive to all details. Would come back again for sure!

I wasn't happy with this place. -- The service was standard at best - the attitude of the hostess was substandard.
-
I understand you had a select menu for 'Restaurant Week' - but remember, it was your choice to participate. - Don't provide substandard service just because someone is coming in for restaurant week.
-
If your goal was to retain guests for future visits, you have failed. -- I will not be going back, nor will I be recommending your establishment to anyone.
-
Though the management attempted to make up for the terrible service/food we received, this did not recompense for a future visit.

Fine spot for quality steaks. Normally I would have posted a pic but food looked so good I couldn't stop. I'll return with my relatives. The prices are good for what you get. Food is like a restaurant in Jacksonville I liked.

Fancy food with a casual vibe! The food is so good but it's got a chic yet laid back feel. We brought my 2 year old nephew and it was fine. Though there isnt a kids menu, they offered to make a more basic version of their mac & cheese for him. The service was great as was the wine selection. Highly reccomend this place!

Hands down one of the best steak frites I ve ever had (and I ve had quite a few!). NY strip was cooked a perfect med-rare, and the fries were cooked in duck fat, and perfectly crisp on the outside while hot and gooey on the inside. Definitely pricey, but really great bistro ambiance.

An absolutely standout restaurant experience from my trip to Seattle! The atmosphere is a blend of comfort and upscale dining with a menu full of creative and complex flavors. The tasting menu was well designed with great selections from the full menu and a solid list of paired wines. The staff was also extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I honestly can't recommend this place enough! I hope I have the opportunity to go back!

Went there with my husband for my birthday and we got the tasting menu and a few cocktails. Everything tasted delicious and the staff was great; they added little touches to help make my birthday special. Great place to go for special occasions.

There are few dinner options in downtown Seattle that even come close to RN74 for food, service, or atmosphere. Reclaimed french trappings, an excellent wine list (and the rotating last bottle list is not to be overlooked), and an exquisite menu combine for one of the best dining experiences to be had in Seattle.

We just walked in and got seated at the bar. The interior design, music and atmosphere were really nice. The barman was brilliant, really friendly, chatty and knowledgable about the menu. The food was lovely, just very pricey, but we really enjoyed our time.

It was an amazing failure for this 4 self proclaimed fine dining restaurant and the Valentine chef tasting menu is an unacceptable disappointment. The chef must have not tasted the food!
The tuna tartar ONLY tasted with overwhelming sesame oil but no other favors. The steak was tasteless being served with unappetizing "milky green" spinach sauce. The macaroonsecond was soggy and chewy. The chocolate truffle was an "one bite and spitting out immediately" affair.

Good sized portion of duck-fat fries. Yummmy!! I needed to be inside while I waited for the bus since I forgot my coat at work. So glad it was happy hour. Loved the atmosphere, lowly lit, kind of masculine old timey bar, the kind the fellas from Mad Men would frequent. I will be back.

This place has lovely decor and a cool ambiance. Unfortunately, when my friend and I were there on a Friday evening it also had slow service (though nearly empty), dry salmon and a watered down cocktail.

I have no issue paying for great food - but my $45+ entree tasted like a $15 one. Other reviewers seem to have had a pleasant experience, so perhaps we caught them on a bad night.

Food is good and probably a 4 star for what it is. I give it a lower rating because the pricing makes no sense. You pay $35 for a hamburger that is no better than a $10 burger up the road. Valentine's Day pricing skyrockets when most restaurants don't touch their pricing. Good food but value isn't there for me.

Stopped here for cocktails on a Saturday afternoon around 4ish. Pretty cool vibe, with a nice bar and loungy area. It was happy hour- the food selection for that was a bit limiting and very french of course. Had a nice time!

Great craft cocktail menu ! Amazing hospitality- as a Director of sales and marketing in Downtown Chicago hotel/restaurants; my wife and I noticed the endearing thought and confidence that goes into the experience that we will remember during our time here and when we return home. Please ask for Matthew ! He s a gentlemen that will create you the perfect cocktail that is not on the menu; once I informed him we are from the Windy City he made me a Manhattan with his own personal twist ! Cheers to this bar and staff! I will definitely be back with my wife.

The food was extraordinary. I had their cocktail made with Four Roses Bourbon and Pinot Noir reduction syrup. It was light yet super flavorful...I had three of them that night. We had their raw oysters and they came with a light vinegar sauce that was a perfect complement to the oysters (as opposed to cocktail sauce which covers up the oyster flavor).

For entrees we tried their halibut and pork. The presentation on the halibut was unique. The halibut was a full filet but was sitting in a saffron based bouillabaisse with clams, calamari and mussels. It came with a toasted piece of sourdough on top which I used to soak up the saffron sauce once the seafood was gone. I am a fan of bouillabaisse but it's easy to overcook the seafood. By cooking the halibut separately and adding it to the bouillabaisse at the end the fish stayed perfectly cooked. Kudos to the chef.

The pork was bone in and fork tender. My only complaint was even though the pork was very juicy it didnt have as much flavor. It came with grits and brussel sprouts. My date loved it and finished it. Maybe the saffron sauce from my entree was so good the pork didnt seem as flavorful in comparison. Both entrees were consumed in their entirety.

We were too full for dessert although the beniets looked good.

Service was a team effort and was good. The bar got a little backed up making drinks but it was a busy Saturday night in prime time so we weren't concerned.

We will definitely eat at this restaurant again.
