The buffet is not that good, its unfortunate they dont give the free birthday buffet or game points anymore. But the facilities are very nice. The rooms are beautiful. N there is always something going on there.

The hotel bed was very uncomfortable and we could hear everything from the hallway.

The casino is under-going a nice renovation but it doesn't change the fact that the place is a no-frills gaming experience. You rarely, if ever, see an employee walking the floors and I never feel as if they are happy to have me at their establishment. I've never once been welcomed to the place or been offered so much as a "good luck". It really makes me miss the casinos in San Diego that went out of their way to make their players / customers feel appreciated. Additionally, the slots seem extremely tight. I've one once in all the times I've played here.
Machines are tight. Win some then lose you butt is the usual story there.
The worst online gaming I've ever had...you take bets I've placed but take my money and say (no you didn't place that bet) huh? And when I have questions you say... not my problem you to contact someone else!? Terrible! I will tell all my friends NOT to place any bets here.
They have their machines so tight that you can't even play on them without losing everything that you brought that is so sad
The breakfast buffet is top notch, everything was delicious and many choices to chose from. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Our visit to Riverside Casino & Golf Resort was great! The room was well maintained and spotless. Despite having a full house, we didn't hear noises from the hall or next room. We look forward to going back for another stay.

I cannot say enough about the wonderful stay we had at Riverside Casino in Iowa. We met our family there for a 50th wedding anniversary. The accommodations were impressive, the food was delicious, the golf facilities were state of the art, and the casino was exciting. We had a fun, relaxing, enjoyable stay at Riverside. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting an exceptional vacation.
Do NOT stay in a hotel room there. I left a bracelet right by the phone on the desk. i checked out and realized 10 minutes later that I left it there and mysteriously it was gone. Now they are saying that it wasnt there and they don't have to do anything about it. Proper procedure in a hotel is that they file a claim with their guest liability insurance and they will not do it. Their housekeepers are thief's.

Friendly. Restaurant a disappointment, not up to the excellence of the past. Pasty potatoes, dry brisket, catfish and chicken. Desserts good. Still a 5 star overall to me.

My friends were having a birthday evening and we remembered everything we needed - except a can-opener. We asked a few of the restaurants for help and weren't getting anywhere until we stopped in the gift shop.
Kim was working and she handled our somewhat odd request with ease! She said "let me see what I can do" and within 10 minutes, our problem was solved.
Riverside's recent update to their facility is great and my experience with Kim was the icing on the cake. She went above and beyond and provided top-notch service! Thanks, Kim!
I visit 2 or 3 times a month for the breakfast buffet and gambling. Service while at the buffet is generally satisfactory and the area is kept clean. The casino area is also always clean and the dealers and waitresses are usually very pleasant and accommodating.
Clean, friendly. 22vine food was delicious. Buffet was ok. Table games $15 and higher didn't see any $5 table's unfortunately,but slots hit decently.

I really like this Casino, it is one of my favorites in Iowa, however the thick cigarette smoke is what ruins the experience for me. We go to Illinois now when want to gamble since theirs are all smoke free.

One of the best courses in the state. Greens are always immaculate. Everyone on staff is exceptionally qualified, and will take care of whatever you need. The restaurant is great too, I've stopped after a round several times and had great food and service. Always a great day at Riverside!
now is not a good time to go. They have a lot of construction going on in the casino itself and everything is a mess and you can't get through half of where you want to go

I posted a review about a month ago about these Crooks. The owner replied with the usual b.s. that there payout is above the states payout. I thought maybe I would try again. I went back around noon on a Saturday, played for about 45 min. Dropped $140 just trying to get to bonus games. Finally got one and got a whopping $9.48 out of it. Didn't win of course. Once again these people are Crooks. If you want a chance at actually winning, and spending more than an hour. Recommend Meskwaki, the trips a little longer, but worth it.
