Riverside Casino and Golf Resort Review

I love all the employees, its Small, not to many people I love that I have my own space!

Everything was great! Everyone is friendly and hospitable.

We had not been to Riverside Casino for close to a year. As soon as we walked in the door the smell of cigarette smoke gave us a headache. It was all remodeled but the smell really ruined the atmosphere. One guy not wearing a mask My husband asked one of the employees why no mask he assuredus he would take care of it never did as he was coughing. We won't be going back. What a dissapointment.

Very modern and new. They are currently remodeling so some things like the buffet weren't completely open. Lots of options for gaming and the casino floor was clean and not too smoky.

Really a good place to get lose and have fun while gambling.

A friend and I went to have a drink at the bar. We also played a little just for fun but didn't win anything. It was a lively atmosphere and the bartender was very nice.

Fun place to go, just wish the slot machine max is getting so high. Lose way more than win

We went down to Riverside for a bit of gambling and dinner for the first time in a few years, place still looks good overall and is well maintained and the gambling is, well, gambling. :) Not much to say related to that, and this time we opted to eat at Ruthie's for a bit of a romantic dinner. The food was superlative, though to be fair, so were the prices. :) Definitely not a bargain location as a typical steak+side are going to run $50+, but I haven't experienced any other place in Iowa that does a better steak, and the wine reduction they use is fantastic. While even the sides are a bit expensive, they definitely give you portions that make it worth it; I'd swear that baked potato was about two pounds before toppings.

Eat at the buffer and it was delicious and worth the money. Played some machines in the casino for a bit didn't win anything but had fun. Very clean and up to date.

Everything was nice there. Staff was nice too. Which is good. But could have been the day. They are doing some remodeling. So I assume, it'll be nice. Very clean.

Live music and non smoking sections make for a pleasant time

This place has one of the best buffets that I have tasted or seen. There variety is vast and the desserts are colorful as they are tasty. They also have a dine in restaurant with a chef that is quite good also. Then you have a golf course, a spa, clothing store, gift shop, weight room, sports apparel store, indoor outdoor pool, and one of the most convenient hotel service's in the state you would almost have to find time to gamble at there wide variety of slot's and table games. I had a very good time every time I come. Thank you to all the staff at Riverside Casino espesally Matt and Tammy at the hotel for putting up with my bazaar shannagens.

Really liking this place after all this time. Finally won some cash money!!!! I could not lose that night. Now if the remember to send me some good coupons or comps, sure hope so went from 0 points to well over 15k in 4 hours.... Would love to stay here again.

The 1st time we ate at the cafe the server that seated us said we could use the coupon we showed him we then went to check out and was told we could not use it she was rude and embarrassed us we then ate there another time and they cooked my well done burger with the paper on it in witch I ate and again was rude and made us feel as though we again were wrong

Casino has New Slot machines...Very expensive to bonus there!
Heard quite a few of the patrons swearing alot....Angry gamblers there..
They were pretty much robbing everyone ...
Ate at the buffet...very salty food.
Pretty desserts though.
Won't be going back.

This is the nicest hotel/casino I have ever stayed at. All the staff were very friendly and the food was amazing.

Food was ok in the robert buffet. Crab is popular. Most of the chinese stuff is not upto the mark.

I stayed at the Riverside on a Tuesday night. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, though I don't believe that I had a reason to test their knowledge. The room I stayed in was a smoking room due to room availability, so the fact that it smelled strongly of smoke (which in turn made all of my clothes smell of smoke) was an expected annoyance. I ate in the restaurant downstairs for dinner, and found the service and food good, though the burger that I ordered was a bit overdone. I didn't gamble, but I did walk through the casino. It was relatively quiet and strangely well-lit. A good stay overall.

It was really smoky and the bar outsider our concert event was cash only. Otherwise we had a good experience...drinks were inexpensive for this kind of event.

Room was very comfortable. The pool and hot tub wer very relaxing me.

Was under construction so not as fun as usual. Staff was over the top great!

Hard to get cell service and I don t believe in paying for WiFi when you are paying for a room. The pool area is very nice. Food is pretty good but the stuff in the cafe is overpriced. Staff is always pleasant and helpful.

The band Passion is amazing!!! Finally won some money there - I think it was the first time ever..

It was a very good day only put 30$ in and just wouldnt quit hitn on same machine :)

Service isn't great and the food is so-so...but we go on some tuesday nights ao my son can have the all you can eat crab legs

For the most part the buffet is ok but have yet to get a good piece of prime rib, catfish is always good as well as desserts and salad bar, the other restaurants food are good if you don't have an appetite for a buffet

Plenty of different foods to choose in the buffet most of it is very good and fresh. There is also 2 other places to eat at the casino. You have a variety of slots machines or other games like Blackjack. Soft drinks and coffee is free. And they have a live band on weekends.

Was very clean I was only on the casino floor and they also has courteous staff

New poker room looks great. The cash game was not able to see the games on the TV.

I had no problem plan any game I wanted. I walked away with some winnings. easy access for your needs when needing cash from your cards from the ATMs. And when you take your vouchers to the machine fast and quick payouts so you can be on your way. Wonderful atmosphere and plenty of space to be able to enjoy your time while visiting. I give it a five-star. I enjoyed my visit

Very clean! Used pool area, played on the floor and ate at the buffet. Hot tub was great, as always! Excellent customer service everywhere. Love this place and definitely recommend it to everyone; all ages.

Non-smoking section smells stronger than the smoking. The slots are old and do not hit.

The roomwas amazing only thing I didn't like was there wasn't any microwave in our room but the shower was awesome I love the shower and the glass doors in the showers and the bed was so comfortable but like I was sleeping on the cloud great place to stay though!

Stayed and played longer than expected for a first time visit. Won $40. And only played $5.00.

Games and machines are fine. The stench of cigarette smoke is extremely strong. Have never figured out why the casinos In Iowa cannot figure out a better venilation system. We enjoy Jumers in the Quad Cites much more. Even the casino at the track in Des Moines is better. They have a really nice non-smoking area with a lot more machines to choose from and a non smoking tables area

Drove up from Quincy, my wife, sister and I. Together we spent over 300 dollars. We were only there about an hour and a half. We won't be back. We didn't go up to win, we went up for entertainment. None of the machines that we played didn't give anything back.

Someone stole my ticket for $460.00 out of my machine n cashed in..not happy that they weren't caught with security cameras..not a good visit.

Always fun at the Riverside Casino. Band was good, games are fun, golf course is beautiful, and the room is very comfortable.

Always have fun here. Never win but still have fun.

I wasn't impressed with the room for the cost. But we had a good time.
