I just spent some time there playing piano for a vocalist friend of mine who wanted a professional recording/mixing done of her songs. These people were professional and talented, and very hard working - it was great fun the whole time. It took some time to get the recording the way she wanted it to sound, and they helped and improved things every step of the way. The price quoted did not change, even with all the work they did to get the recording to sound perfect. What a great place to find in our city - a very professional and competent recording studio, with a respectful, but laid back and friendly attitude. As a part time musician I never felt discounted, and my opinions and ideas were heard. I would recommend them to anyone - professional or amateur. Definitely will go back for any recording/mixing work that comes up again.

Lovely staff, quality equipment, and an excellent live room. River City is likely the best-known studio in Grand Rapids and for good reason.

Affordable recording and one of the engineers is a professor at GVSU. Talk to Joe, his passion for sound inspires me, and I know he'll get you even more excited about your next recording.

The studio I work for, Charles Holloman Productions, worked with River City Studios on a project and they were wonderful to work with. Very professional, great quality studio / sound. We will be sure to use them again.

Nice and professional people, good sound quality

Over the past 25 years River City has been HD's go-to recording studio for all of our clients' projects. They've always delivered quality. Staff, equipment, and recording rooms are tops!
