I went to the Casino only. River City is everything a Casino should be. There are plenty of games for all people, and you never have to wait in line for too long. Overall it was a good experience and I will probably go back many times in the future.
After 4 years in Las Vegas this is by far the best casino in STL.

We have ate at the buffet multiple times during peak hours on a Friday or a Saturday. Every time it has been absolutely disgusting. Everything has a weird taste & smells or just no flavor at all.
Last night we had reservations at the 1904 Steakhouse. I was already apprehensive from the buffet experiences, but I was thinking it s a nice steakhouse so it can t be that bad. Total of the bill was $204 for 3 people. Thank god for food credit and my choice comps. Our waiter was wonderful. Kept drinks full, explained the menu very well and checked on us frequently. However the food was just nasty. I ordered a 12oz filet. It had a foul smell and was very dry. The middle was completely raw. ordered side of grilled shrimp. Received 3 shrimp that were very hard and had no flavor, and were partially burnt. Also ordered aspargus and received 3 tipsy that were burnt. The only thing I ate was the bread and mashed potatoes. My other 2 guest ate there food, but were not happy with it. I highly recommend not eating at River City. Just gamble!
I played blackjack for the first time! Enjoyed the experience as well as the dealer!! I'll go back.
The casino is usually clean and pretty busy. Food is decent as well.
The tables are worth the experience. The hotel parking is covered and it's overall a very clean hotel and casino.
We went there for a music concert. Unfortunately, we missed it because our 20 year old daughter could not get in due to alcohol sales. This was not a problem at the restaurant, which also sells alcoholic beverages. We had to give away our 3 tickets. Waste of time and money. We will not be back.
Not very fun. Didn't see anyone having a good time. Not even the employees. One of the blackjack dealers lied to my date about the table being non-smoking! Spent a lot of money. Comped a lukewarm burger n cold french fries.
Place was clean and service was great. The restaurants inside the hotel were spectacular.

Multiple issues with "Elite" rewards members stepping away from slot machines for an extended period of time and leaving their rewards cards in to "save" them so nobody else can play. An adjacent player actually had the audacity to tell me that this practice aligned with this specific casino's etiquette and that it was totally okay.
Uh no. This is St. Louis, not Vegas. It is also not even okay to do that there.
Only 4 stars because nothing or no one is perfect. However, the Casino is excellent. Has all the wanted amenities.
Got a weird card system for the slots. Got 25 dollars free swiped the card on the first machine didn't even get to play money gone. All bad. Never again.
Went to the casino after a wedding. I had a few drinks. I was playing a slot machine and security walked over and said they saw signs of intoxication and i was told i had to go
Great hotel and great food outlets. Never had a bad meal. Recommend all the resturants.

Nice place to eat in the buffet area ist floor open at 11 o'clock servers are very nice makes you feel so welcome.

Food at the buffet was excellent and the variety was impressive. The wait staff did an excellent job accommodating our large group and our glasses never had the chance to go empty before they were refreshed.
Nice place for a fun filled night and walked away with some of their money !!!!!

Our annual fall Sales meeting was held at this year and the River City Casino (RCC). Each year we travel to different locations. Katie and the team at RCC made this year so easy for me. Anything that was need was quickly addressed. The food and drinks were top notch. The best catering that I have had for any of the meetings that I have planned thus far.
Great stay, but some things could be more enhanced for the price. Elevator sounded like a race car, shower head is in middle of shower ceiling, shower floor totally slippery, refrigerator located inside wardrobe, never got totally cold. But loved the television within the bathroom mirror, and the main television enclosed in a picture frame. Bedding could have been a bit cozier. Bed was a little too hard. The view was not pleasant at all for the cost we paid and the advance purchase. Loved the security of the elevator not being able to run without key card. Loved the electronic key card. Not enough variety in the restaurants, and hours of operation not too pleasant for late arrivals. The Buffet was an optical illusion. For a hotel and Casino that's 4 blocks big, the Buffet is tiny. Lots of tables and mirrors, and hardly any food selections. But lots of ice cream.lol. Over all, it was an okay stay, but nowhere close to a Marriott, Hyatt or Hilton, which we prefer. Thank you for a nice stay.
Nice hotel with friendly staff. We came for a concert and stayed a couple of days. Not too far from downtown and the Soulard blues area.
I came from Vegas 2 days ago and our room was better than Cesar's Palace and Ny-Ny. Very impressed, will be recommending for sure

Went to Judy's lounge for my birthday! Lots of fun but not a lot of seating unless you pay a stupid price for a hand full of seats that couldn't even accommodate my party guests!
We went for the all you can eat crab legs Buffett. Food was good. However the hour and thirty minute wait was not fun. At least there was an employee handing out free water, popcorn and good fish!
Fun place to hang with friends and do a little gambling. Free soda and coffee and not overly expensive drinks. Very much dislike all the smokers and mess left behind them at nearly every machine. Restaurants are way over priced.
Love it here. We always have so much fun. Lots of entertainment.
After a very enjoyable company Christmas party, and a long night of dancing and celebrating with friends and co-workers we retired to room #304.
All expense was covered by my employer.
Upon waking, and preparing morning coffee, I discovered a spoon which was obviously bent burned heavily on one side with clear residue from drugs on the other...
I then found a second used spoon/ drug paraphanilia!
I do not know how long they had been in the room.
I informed the desk , but actually got a deeper sense of concern from the housekeeping, than the "security" or the registration desk....

I was there for crab leg buffet and it was excellent.
I have asthma and it was SO SMOKEY that we had to leave. If there were exhaust fans, they were not working. Also the lady on the phone said it a "lobster" buffet. That was incorrect. I was disappointed.
Ate at the buffet. Very delicious, with variety of food, service was fabulous. Will go back!
Had dinner at the Buffet. Great selection of good, very friendly and helpful staff. Only issues are the lack of silverware, need to use the same for salad, entree, and dessert, and if you leave it on your plate and they take it, you are kinds out of luck. Plus, one of my selections was burnt. But, the overall experience was pretty too notch!
Wasn't there long to get the feel of things but it was an a.azing place. I will be going back to play more!!!
If I could give it less than 1 star I would have. If you want to win money go to the Casino Queen. River City you just donate your money. Very seldom do you win anything. We usually spend approximately $1,400 a week there and get nothing in return.

Fun place for drinks and gambling. Quick bar service. If its a grumpy dealer it means they are going to take your money and know they wont make tips
I have been here before. I really liked it except for 2 things. I will not go back unless these 2 things change....1. They allow smoking and it was gross. The smoking patrons will come and sit right next to you at the slots with their ashtrays, not even caring whether you are a non smoker or not. They get ashes on the machines. You cannot contain smoke to an area anyway. Second hand and third hand smoke can kill you. This should be against the law. I will not be putting myself in that situation again. 2. They will not allow the Metro Bus down there. I contacted Metro and they told me. You have to walk down a long desolate road from Broadway. So, apparently, this casino is prejudiced against people who don't have cars. Wow. Is that legal? Doesn't sound like good business either. The casino tried to tell me there isn't room for the buses. Really? You designed the place. There isn't room because you don't want them. And there is room for supply trucks and the like. Things that make you go "hmm".
Enjoyed watching the play here. The food was great as well!!!
The rooms are nice, the shower was great. We enjoyed an overnight stay, the convenience of the resturants and casino made our decision to stay here!
