Having recently amalgamated a number of our holdings, one of which was with Pilling and Co we were horrified at the transfer fees imposed by Pilling. On my husbands account it amounted to 7%. None of the other companies involved charged any fees. These transfer fees were not shown on the website and so our IFA were not aware of them and was horrified at the charges imposed. We certainly will not invest with them again and I don"t think our IFA will be suggesting them to any of their other clients
