River City Casino & Hotel Review

Servers never came around and leaving your game to go to bar for another drink was terrible cause bartender was either ignoring you or overwhelmed with people

For the most part enjoy myself very much. The buffet was one of the best I ever had.

Decent casino, sometimes understaffed. They desperately need a pool or hot tub to make the rooms more appealing. Rooms are above average quality

I visited to apply for a job although the HR staff was rude this place overall was big and beautiful. I will attempt to go back for an hotel stay, dinner and some gambling.

The food was ok, we got there and they told us we had 30 minutes, food was still out but nothing great. It was ok. I guess our fault we didnt know the times for serving. It was my birthday and so I was disappointed by being rushed because I'm a slow eater.

Played slots and table games no one in our group won anything

It's one your smaller casinos but that don't take away from it still nice and fun

I wont go there ever again. I took a nickel out of the slot machine so i could start fresh w my money n got threatened they were gonna call security and i needed to leave the floor. Lmao. Over a nickel. I spent over 200000 last year at lumiere. I dont need their damn nickel

It is an excellent place with the best attention to the clients, the food is exquisite and its gardens are precise. The hotel is the best in the city I definitely recommend this place

We went to play some and go to The Beerhouse, always a great selection of beers with friendly quick service. If you want to try a variety of beers I highly recommend you visit The Beerhouse;

The best buffet among the rest. Superb service, inviting atmosphere, clean dining area. Great variety. Almost all food options are available lunch and dinner, so you won't leave hungry. Slot selection is good and win/loss ratio is fair. While not around places to site see or shop like Lumiere, you'll be glad you made the trip and forget about it

Won $100 on 10 minutes on penny slots. Great machines

Used to love the buffet...and the large options with sushi, as of this week I went to have lunch. And instead there was a sandwich bar... i only went to eat here for the sushi bc it was so good.... was told after I paid there was no longer sushi for lunch...and now they are doing away with it for dinner to. I am very dissatisfied with the buffet. But the rest of the casino is amazing

Love it... Put $7 in the machine walked out with $67 had fun playing for over an hour.

The smoking is obnoxious and very warm. Not a good combination.

Good party venue, offers discounted buffet on certain week day

I thought the food on the buffet good but highly overpriced. I also was surprised they allowed smoking in the casino and the fact that there was no real separation from the non-smoking area and the smoking just signs denoting the separate areas.

Lots of parking and machine. Even when busy can find machines to play. The burger joint is great.

It's nothing short of a miracle when I find a hotel bed I actually slept well in. Nice bath and bedroom, easy check-out procedures, convenient maid service request and DND buttons inside the room, a fridge and safe are inside the closet, and tv screens on the bathroom mirror! I come from a state where smoking in public places is illegal so it was a little weird for me to walk around smelling and seeing smokers everywhere - so if that's an issue for you, or you'd rather avoid it, I would recommend not staying at this hotel.

Alaa at the buffet (dessert bar) was a complete dick. Everyone else was lovely.

Lost all my money again! Oh well. Don't gamble unless you're willing to lose. Still my favorite casino.

Casino is nice but sure wish there was a poker room. Used to frequent more when there was a poker room. Have to choose different since poker room is gone.

Went to the Saturday night all you can eat steak and crab legs. Unfortunately, we never got to eat. We got in line right at four. However, so many people were cutting in line (people holding places for others) it was ridiculous. We stood in line for over two hours before we finally said forget it and went somewhere else. They really need to monitor the line or come up with a different system.

I really enjoyed staying at River City. They are very accommodating and the entertainment is great.

Can't eat or drink while at casino but you can have your mask off to smoke. Doesn't make sense.

Even if you don't gamble they have good and unique restaurants. Location isn't far from anywhere.

Stayed here two days, its starting to show a little wear but still enjoy the hotel and Casino.

Several machines I played kept acting like it was going to give me the bonus but never did and I was playing up

I went to this Casino and was pleasingly surprised-it was new-clean and very well organized--I wish it had free play for new guests but never the less it had a lot of machines and the aura was pleasant! I will come back and stay in one of the rooms most definitely!I wish it had free drinks like Tunica . Kimberly Brown

Love the crab leg buffet!!!! I wish they offered it more!

Wide variety of food choices, hiking trail nearby along the river, free parking. We were not overnight guests, so cannot comment about that. I wish smoking were not allowed in casino.

Great great place to have some fun and meet up with some friends

This is a rating on the casino, not the hotel. Only 1 side was open and all black jack tables were full with people waiting. We asked the pit boss if they could open another table, we were told they didn't have enough staff. The line at the Cashier cage was very long and they only had 1 cashier. Management really dropped the ball on this.

Well the floor manager was being very rude in her approach of my best friend and I. Then we kept switching slot machines. Low and behold boom mask mean monitor lady all eyeballing us. It was really uncomfortable and definitely not a pleasant experience for my best friend and I.

The buffet portion of River City was great. There were plenty of people but never too long of a line considering it was crab legs night. Along with the food, the service was great. There was never a moment I needed to hunt down someone to order another drink or anything.

gambling is lame. But i guess everyones got their vices, I just don't dig the casino scene. The food was expensive, there weren't any small dinner options at the restraunt I ate at. Like not even a professional eater couldve finished the sandwich I ordered, crowded & loud. I will say the food came quick for how busy the place was. But save ur $. Not common to win here

We enjoyed our visit. Everyone was really nice and helpful. We were out riding all over , enjoying all of everything we could. We were doing some traveling. We will be going back. It is only about 2 hours from our home.

Love the River City for concerts. Excellent venue!!!

Lots of variety of slots,. Very big. Was rather cold though, to much air conditioning.

Guest service was extremely nice. Great facility, lots of fun.

Overall a good time but they don't have a poker room anymore.

Ate breakfast at cibare with family. I ordered a ham, cheddar and provolone omelet and it was excellent. The breakfast potatoes were also delicious.

Well I can't give good direction cause I was guest being lead but I enjoyed my time there I felt comfortable an relex.
