River City Casino & Hotel Review

Large game selection, semi-truck parking and more play for your money!!! The staff was so friendly I actually tipped. Best spot in Saint Louis.

I absolutely love this casino . The food the bars and live bands makes it feel like you're not missing a thing.

I gamble occasionally at the various casinos around St. Louis. River City is my least favorite casino and here's why. THREE times I have gambled at this facility caught the dealer cheating me out of my winnings - I won and they did not pay me. The last time it happened, the dealer argued with me over shorting me $2 worth of chips when he paid me. The first two times, the dealer wiped my chips off the table without paying me! I have requested a tape review and guess what? I'm right every time. I suspect they cheat you so they can claim the left over money as their tip. I am not sure if that is possible but at the very least - I think the dealers are lousy if they don't pay correctly and you have to carefully watch them. I have NEVER experienced this type of problem at ANY other casino. Not much fun when the dealer rips you off! Watch your dealer very carefully if you go there! Or, better advice - DON"T GO THERE!!!

7th floor digs are elegant as anything I have ever seen

The hotel is just plain lousy. Rooms are way way Over priced I've seen better rooms in budget motels

Heading back to IL from TN we decided to stop at one of the top rated casino/ hotel for more fun and relaxation. Upon arrival, the main doors were barricaded and unable to enter the hotel side of the building. We called to find the entrance and the employee who answered was very condescending and short. We had no idea where to even park. There were no signs or instructions. We finally found the lobby and mention to the girl at the counter that a sign should be placed for directions to the lobby. The girl only chuckled and stated that it was not her job and way above my pay grade ! No one was friendly or welcoming. In the morning there was no coffee to be found and the girl at the counter didn t even mention that they had coffee to be made even when asked. Another patron told me that I could get the coffee from the front desk right in front of the girl at the front desk. While in the casino there was no waitresses to serve drinks. The security boy told us that there was coffee at the bar which there was but no one Was behind the counter and no waitresses to be found. We ended up driving 8 miles away to get coffee at ihop.The whole experience was very disheartening and disappointing! We will never go back!

I love the way River City is set up and the care they have taken to make it safe. I do not like the smoke.. it even permeats the smoke free areas. I am glad that those smokeless areas have been expanded. Why not make smoking lounges with better ventilation and keep your beautiful casino cleaner and fresher smelling?

I enjoy going there too the food is excellent some time it's hard trying to play my favorite slot machine and the hotel rooms are beautiful

Some of the dealers are extremely rude. One called pratrick in particular. Won t be goin back.

Don't like the coffee served in paper cups when ordering room service. Slot machines way too tight.

Went for the casino. Had a great time. Will go back

They are self certifying for covid symptoms. Do make you wear a mask. Every other machine open. Still leave smelling of smoke...but if you need to go play somewhere, it is open!!

Very unhappy young lady that work late nights charged my card for a room that I never stayed a night in and over charged me at that

I might be a bit biased because I used to work at River City, but I love this casino! If I hadn't gotten ill I'd still be there. Anyway, it is a classy casino. They have great entertainment. If you end up seeing a performance there the venue is small enough so there really isn't a bad seat! The people who work there really do love their jobs and are more than willing to help if you need them. Do not be worried about safety because security is always there and the surveillance cameras are always watching too. They are now associated with Hollywood Casino, but I think between the two, River City is the nicer one.

The buffet is AWESOME! I am not big on buffets but I must say I was very impressed. Fresh food was constantly being bought out. The servers kept the food areas clean. The waitress made sure the tables were cleared as soon as guests left. I will most definitely return!

Went far crab legs tonight. River City advertised all you can eat on Wednesday. Get there at 7;45p. Never was serving them tonight. Then get rid of the internet advertisement please.

I came to RiverCity Resort, as well as to the RiverCity Casino on January 2nd, 2019 and stayed until January 4th , 2019. I had to leave due to a server adaptability issue and maybe because of a personal pair of missing safety deposit box keys.

As a certified angel therapist, it is mandatory, that I & WE be allowed to keep OURSELVES both mileuically centered, as well as GROUNDED MORESOOVER, it is important that my clients be able to achieve the fundementals within the session and be able to keep it His or Her own ways.

This helps keep the sanctimony of our First (1st) amendment right, as well as it's practices, the reviews; it's fundamentals, AND it's procedures.

It's also the first step in MY personal grounding which has always been always was and shall ever stay what always was and what SHALL remain and is THE FIRST amendment of the United States Constitution.

We chose this "resort to complete a RITUAL yes, but we did it for love and out of love. We planned to create mysticism to help unwind, to help protect, to nurture, and to endure. But unfortunately it was destroyed.

Although I plan to continue with certain other aspectswhich we call "being in spirit", I was asked to leave the reserved room. By disturbing the space we had created, it potentially removse me from my created space which is a bid on a very important contract that had potential for many other important contracts.

What bothers me most about the stay wasn't the time i lost so much, but the hatred i felt from many of the employees

We DIDN'T chose this location for the cleanliness of the place cause trust me i had cobwebs and dust bunnies I PERSONALLY took care of........

But for the cleanth of the hands we had involved, my hands as well the other registered guest and many others who i refuse to name.

Ddisappointed would be an understatement but it is the word that comes to mind.

Due to an understanding that a movie was being filmed hereand Due to the aforementioned associates & Due to the frozen accounts at my credit union I'm not sure yet if myself OR any of my present or/and future clients will be visiting this establishment again.

I had advised the check-in staff at my time of arrival that I would be filming a moviE THIS IS NOW A LEGAL RASPBERRY MOMENT DUE TO A GROUP OF STALKERS THAT I HAD TO ENDURE WHILE NOT BEING ALLOWED SANCTUARY

The decor and style of the hotel is beautiful. The rooms are really nice, especially if you can get them free!

Went to eat at the buffet and the line was very very long. The wait to get in was over an hour and a half. The casino area was as expected but very smoky.

Beautiful venue for a wedding rehearsal and dinner. The staff was friendly and the banquet center was very clean. Loved the menu for the evening, too.

We love this hotel! The location is handy to downtown St. Louis and to other other area attractions via the Interstate highways. Parking is ample and free. There are several great places to dine on the premises. The front desk staff is extraordinary. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Ms. Jasminka and Ms. Niesha are awesome!!

Casino paid me 2 thousand so was a blast. Very clean for being a smoking environment

Beautiful hotel BUT the workers are terrible! My husband who does NOT drink got kicked out for "swaying" at a table. We will never come back.

The amphitheater is a fun, smaller sized venue for a show.

I ate the the Buffet at the casino. The staff was cordial and the food was well prepared. I plan on returning.

Went to the casino after bowling late at night. It was busy but not too busy. We found the table games we wanted to play, with open spots, fairly easily. We stayed for four or more hours and won some money. No complaints.

Walked in with 240.00 and walked out with 485.00 the fact I can smoke there keeps me from going to Peoria.....

Since the new company bought it it's only going downhill

Great place! Lots of good games to play. It always appears clean and the people who work thete are friendly and helpful. They have free coffee, water and soda.

Excellent buffet, too much smoke, they could at least have some air filters.

Good food, nice restaurants, good variety. I tried the loaded tater tots. Very good! Very nice rooms with great showers.

We only gambled in the casino. The atmosphere was great. The floor is very open. the self service bars were all very tidy. There was a band that played and it was very enjoyable.

MANY of the machines i played ended up needing serviced while i played them and it was hell getting a waitress . Under staffed and i spent more time waiting for an attendant to get to my machine. Caused anxiety

Very nice midsize venue. Been there 3 times in the last 4 days, for Kris Kristofferson, Tanya Tucker, & the Oak Ridge Boys Christmas concert. As you can see, they book great performers. It's virtually impossible to have a bad seat here, aside from the uncontrollable bad luck of an extremely tall person seated in front of you. If this venue isn't already on your radar, you should start watching it. Also a plus, especially in poor weather, free covered parking with direct entry to the building.

Burger brothers is the place for me great burger. Don't go expecting to win any money if you're looking for a little fun and some entertainment it's a great place.

Horrible experience!!!!!!!! Don t stay there!!!! Security harassed us after midnight because the previous guest in our room claimed they left their antique pillow the night before and they expected us to search our room for it after we were all asleep. Very unprofessional!!!!!!!!!!! Also, they discriminated against our friend with Cerebral Palsey all night. They harassed her all night!!!! River City Casino is a horribl place!!!!!!

Favorite place to gamble. I visit all of the casinos in the area but this is the only one I've actually won money multiple times

Rooms are great,. Bathrooms in casino are in need of repair. Slots are old.

The staff was friendly and courteous. Our bed was amazingly comfortable, the best bed I have ever slept in. The housekeeping needs to be a little better. I had a roach almost fall on me when I opened up the bathroom door. I also found someones hair extensions and comb by my nightstand.
