RIVA Motorsports Review

I wrote them a negative review but they cared it and called me to explain everything well

Lazy sales people who prejudge their customers. Salesman tells me I wont get approved for a bike, without even LOOKING at my information. Immediately went to 2 Wheels Ducati dealership, and was actually helped by a salesman who I then purchased a brand new triumph daytona 675r from. Way to loose a sale.

If I could leave less stars I would. The sales place is amazing at sales. But if you ever need service from this place I promise you that you will be unhappy MOST of the time.

Had a great experience at Riva. Sal was awesome to deal with. Only took him a few days and he got me the exact wave runner I was looking for. Thank u guys for making the process so simple.

My sales person (Mike) was great. He was very patient and we managed to narrow down the bike I wanted (new Suzuki GSX-R600). The problem was financing, you see, I have excellent credit and they offered me a loan for close to 5% interest and I though I could do much better. Once they saw I was not convinced with the rate, another sales guy conveniently showed up at the right time and they started to play the game where the finance guy asks what is a good rate and the sales guy says something much higher that what I got, so they try to make it seem that I have such a sweet deal, but I know better. I actually disliked this game very much and walked out. The following day I went to the "other" big dealership and I got 0% (from Suzuki, it was actually advertised very prominently on their website). I am glad I walked out and I am sorry for Mike because he lost the sale due to his incompetent finance guy. It is the finance's guy job to know about these things. I love my bike, but I wish I had purchased it from Mike, great guy and he did an awesome job selling it to me.

Buying a jet ski from Riva was a breeze. They have a great process from start to finish. Very efficient and pleasant. Our sales rep Anthony is extremely educated and I would highly recommend asking for him if anyone plans on visiting anytime soon. Don t hesitate to shop here you are in good hands.

I've bought 2 motorcycles from here in the last 10 months. It has been the easiest/smoothest purchasing process I've ever been through. Anthony answered any questions I had, at any ridiculous hour I had them. My next purchase will definitely be from Riva.

The technician took the time to explain all work performed as well adding a spring to catch return when I did not even notice potential problem.

Couldn't express how satisfied with this powersports company, after our Jet Ski took on water after it was just serviced by another joke company in Clearwater, Florida. Cycle Springs, we took it to Riva in Pompano, the service department is through and professional, helped us thru the insurance claim an got us into a better newer ski thru the sales department in a timely manner.... Do yourself a favor.....
Don't go anywhere else, these guys are top notch.

I didn't buy, but a friend did. He was very pleased.

Loved it pretty cool. We stopped on our way home with our Rv and 2 dogs. They were very nice and treated us well and let the dogs come inside too

I am an actual customer and will always shop at Riva and will avoid Broward Motorsports in PB at all costs. I need an honest and friendly place that puts me first.
Also, I am a designer of custom bikes and scooters and know whom to trust about bikes. Riva has my trust.

Last year I bought a 2017 Yamaha 242X-E and I love the boat, it's great. What is better is the great, no, exceptional service I have received from Mike, Adam and everyone in the service department. If you are thinking about buying a toy they sell, look no further because these people will take care of you after the sale and help keep it running!! TEN STARS!!!!

They had a reasonably priced bike. Negotiations went quickly. Next day when I went back to pay, paperwork was ready, so I was in and out less then 30 min.

Out of all the dealerships I thought of going to, it was this one that I m glad I choose. Not just based off the reviews but my initial experience. The staff was very polite, friendly and accommodating. Most of all, it s the experience/knowledge of the staff that sold me. Not to mention they have staff members that have worked there for over 15+ years. That should tell you something about a dealership as in taking care of their people without high turn over rates. Most of all, thank you to Matty for your time, knowledge, and connecting me with my new ride! Definitely recommend going here. Cheers!

The service department will RIP U OFF! Don't believe these padded "great reviews". I brought my bike in for work under warranty, I made it explicitly clear that if they got into anything not covered by warranty that they are to stop and call me for approval. U would expect that to go without even having to say... right?? All of a sudden I have a bill of over $100. They told me that they reran some wiring, that when I looked at it, was a factory wiring harness. Now, unless the Riva service department produces factory wiring harnesses for Cobra pipes in their shop, I was being lied to. They will try to intimidate you with experience, DO NOT GO TO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT!

I rate it awesome the collection of bikes they have are far more explosive than Donald Trumps speech.

service dept is great. they don't try to rip you. I do all my own work on skis and cycles but there is always some reason to have the manufacturer software to sync newly replaced components. there guys do it cheap and right. A+++++

Great experience at Riva. Worked with Marco who was very patient with me. I was down to 2 motorcycles before making my final decision. Ended up with my 2017 Ninja 650 at the price I was looking for. Showroom is beautiful and was happy they had my bike in stock, in the exact color I wanted. Will repeat my business there in the future and will recommend highly to friends...

Bought 2 Yamaha FX Cruisers and trailer, Dave and Tom are exceptional in the service dept. I bring my ski's down from Hutchinson Island for warranty and service items because of this professionally run operation. Great experience!

It wasn't a nice visit the first time I visited, they ignored me even though they called me to stop by. I drove 45 minutes.

Sal was one of the best salesman I've ever dealt with. He was up front and honest with all the details of the bike (video and pictures) as we had to drive 2 hours to pick it up. One of the employees Heath helped Sal, my wife and I load up the bike into our van and was a great help. We appreciate everything they did for us. This was our first visit to Riva Motorsports and would highly recommend them to everyone.

Best place to buy a motorcycle! I have bought 4 bikes here from Matty! They are kind and like family they remember your conversations you ve had with them and they do their best to get you set up with the best bike for you and the one you want! I wouldn t go anywhere else. They have the best staff, a large inventory, and well maintained facility.

Emil made everything quick,simple and no hassle. Big open area and very clean. I own a 2012 GSXR 1000 it is an awesome bike But this Kawasaki ZX10R feels so much lighter Better balanced and faster and of course Kawasaki Green is the Badest color ever Made. Everything was great

It was great first I showed up late but Emil my sale associate was ready for me work out great deal .Chris got the bike ready which is a 2016 Honda CTX 700 with the DCT transmission. Emil was every patient with me, did a walk around the bike and show me how every thing work as the store was closing for the night great job A1.

This is my third one and I am sure that it will not be my last. I have owned all types of bikes but the Hayabusa is my all-time favorite.

I bought a 2014 yamaha waverunner from Mike the salesman who was very helpful. I would recommend Riva to everyone.

Fantastic service was smooth easy in and out everything was ready all I had to do was pick a bike and sign. Definitely ask for Tyler he is the man, was patient with me when I was undecisive with what I want , Jose and Steve also the man , make your process super smooth and cool,be careful tho cause you mite come here to get one stuff and leave with a truck load, they have everything in stock her ,definitely come down to the Hollywood broward Motorsport!

Sales staff, service staff, all very affable and friendly, helpful - have helped in every special request, gladly. Boat is new, routine service performed very promptly.

I bought two brand new Yamaha jet skies at full MSRP from this dealer this year. One of the skies is a complete lemon and at only 4 hours I have had to bring it in for repairs 3 times now - save yourself the time and buy something else. Yamaha and Riva Motorsports could care less - I'll be filing suit soon.

Bought a rack online for my skis LinQ system. Its been 2 weeks and havent gotten a confirmation email. They didn't hesitate to take the money out of my account though and i cant get anyone on the phone. I feel scammed.

Edit - Finally got someone on the phone, turns out its back ordered 3-4 weeks. A complete shame someone didn't tell us weeks ago that this was the case. Birthday present ruined. Ill never order here again.

Incredible variety of motorcycles to fit your every need of speed waverunners, four wheelers, mopeds, doombuggies, you name it they have it excellent service.

Service department is a complete disaster. Dropped boat off for noise issue Aug 24th and still there as of Sep 26th. Riva communication has been abysmal as only service manager Mike bothers to return my calls. When I called my service adviser to find out what was happening they could not say if repair was covered under warranty or when parts will be available with a different excuse every time I called. Decided to work with Manager Mike since my advisor Michelle decided to never return my calls or answer me. Mike tells me that parts are now delayed until December but will open case with Yamaha to expedite but I still did not know if warranty is covering for a failed bearing. Sep 23 I was told that repair will be covered under warranty so then I called Yamaha on the 25th to ask for any expedite that can do, but YAMAHA rep tells me that no claim has been opened and they cannot see what parts are need it so they can escalate??? Interesting and conflicting... so YAMAHA is now taking the lead in helping me getting a simple repair done. At this point I have no confidence with Riva at ALL.

Walk in no one acknowledged me or my wife not even a hello welcome to Rivas. Spent 20 mins and no one said anything.

I didn't purchase anything today, but Amil was very courteous and knowledgeable. I will definitely return.

I just purchased a pre-owner 2015 Yamaha Waverunner FX Cruiser HO at Riva Motorsports in Pompano and I'm one happy CUSTOMER. It's been a long time since I've been treated so nicely (no matter how much I'm spending) by the entire staff. From start to finish it was a friendly, professional, helpful and pleasant experience. I can highly recommend Riva. From the Service department to Sales every individual I dealt with was fantastic and I'd especially like to recognize Chris A. - he really made it happen - Thank You !!! Oh, I forgot to mention, I'm a repeat Customer and there is no doubt why !!

Just bought my 2018 yamaha mt-09 and the experience was great. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, i walked out with a big smile.

the parts manager Vinny . Loves to watch Teletuby's and the movie Frozen. there's another guy there name Amil Good sales man.. but he collects barbie doll. other than that . everybody else is awesome, the Bambdas ( Owners) Great people, Honest, fair, visionaries ,smart. Role models. Steve,Joe,Dave,Lin,Leslie . got nothing but good things to say about them people.. if you're wanting to buy a motorcycle make sure you ask for Marco Rueda, that man will bend over backwards to make sure your experience e is like nothing other. Happy I chose to make my purchase at riva anthony in sales did a great job of going over everything i wanted to know and make the process go as smooth as possible.

My husband found the Brute Force he wanted online. It wasn t just the best deal in town, it was $1000 cheaper than the next best deal. Gus met us at the door and he couldn t possibly be more courteous and knowledgeable about the Kawasaki product. It only took minutes to fill out paperwork and get us into financing. The finance manager was just as awesome as Gus and had us approved within 15 minutes. Without a doubt, Riva is the only place we will be doing business in the future. Rob and Amanda Peterson

Bought 3 skis from this place. 2 new. Never had a problem, thanks Yamaha. Bought a used unit after a ski got stolen. Got completely scammed sold a lemon that hasnt worked since the day i bought it. Dealership refuses to help or do anything about it even though its under warranty. Chris sold me the ski. Hes a con artist. Leslie the owner wont answer calls. I basically got ripped off 14k with nowhere to turn. Every time i use the ski its a nightmare. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE THEY ARE DISHONEST. ESPECIALLY FROM USED DEPARTMENT.
