Right at Home has worked very hard to place qualified caretakers in our home to provide care for my husband. The care is not an easy assignment and they have provided extra training for care takers.

I hired Right At Home to care for my friend who has Alzheimer's. The 3 ladies who rotate in daily are SO understanding of her disease & capabilities. They cope with her (sometimes daily) mood swings, her impatience, & her demands. I am EXTREMELY thankful of their attention to her needs. I couldn't leave my friend in any better sets of hands.

Right at Home has been such a savior to our family; for helping us with caring for my Dad, getting him VA benefits we weren't aware he qualified for, and keeping him safe. The caregiver, Amber, and he have quickly developed a relationship that is built on caring, safety, and kindness. As the family, we feel more comfortable having Dad live independently in his apartment knowing that Right at Home and his "new friend" Amber will be visiting him weekly. I really find value in the "Family Room" space online where Amber shares their daily activities. This way I know what they were up to and I can even send a message to her with updates or specific requests for an upcoming visit. So happy we found Right at Home!!
I use to work for this company. I absolutely love working with the clients I had. I also really liked the staff. Unfortunately I had an incident and felt that they turned their backs on me. I will always refer someone to this company. The staff that I had when I was working there made you feel like family. The owner Mike stood up for his employees and you were constantly reminded that your hard work didn't go unnoticed.
My elderly father has Parkinson's and needed some at-home help. Right at Home has done an excellent job of providing us people to assist him. Jeff, according to my dad, makes an excellent breakfast; apparently better than his daughter does. ;o)
Their staff are always pleasant to talk to and have been very helpful with any questions or scheduling changes we request. I highly recommend them!

Right at Home has been very attentive to my father's needs after his release from the hospital. The caregivers have been helpful to me as well. It has been very stressful, time consuming and a full time job having my dad live with my husband and I for 3 months and counting. The caregivers ease some of my housework by doing light dusting, vacumming & laundry when needed. The office staff has always been helpful, caring & professional. They definitely aim to please. Mike Steiner, owner, has gone above and beyond with his patience dealing with all my questions and his knowledge of obtaining care through the VA & Family Services of Lake County has been most helpful. I give Right at Home 5 stars and I think you will too if you give them the opportunity to serve you.
