A popular and busy place in Richmond. Had some great evenings here!

Everything except the paper napkins (quite soft) was slightly below average. Making my drink free didn't quite bring the whole experience up to average level.

Discriminatory entry policy. Just two of us - both gay, tried to get in. Wasn't allowed in because we "didn't have a girl" in our group. When we came back with a girl we knew we were allowed in! This is pure sexual discrimination, if not homophobia, at its finest. Definitely immoral and borderline illegal.

Went here for drinks with a friend in the late afternoon. Lovely atmosphere and great little quirky details. Nice cocktails and waiting staff are cheery and helpful. Would recommend to others.

Nice location on the river bsnk, food is descent, not more.

Was served my Sofija D who was extremely helpful and welcoming. Beautiful and tasty cocktails

Decent spot by the river. Music got loud and lights got dim around 7...a bit early really on a Wednesday.

Had an amazing bottomless brunch the team was amazing abbey Sophie ash milla made defo wonna come back again!!!!

Everything great but to close at 2300 is weird. Especially when there is a party and the whole room is rented and closed to the public.

The view at the top is kinda ruined by the plastic but I understand why it has to be there, it just doesn't look great, I had the vegan pizza and the bbq seitan bites, both were tasty, would recommend and would go again

got a nice view shame bout waiting to get a drink takes forever but what do you expect when that is the only place licenced to sell drink off premises

Very good fish and chips + overall environment. A bit noisy during Friday nights though.

Nothing special. It's just a warehouse size bar, very uninspiring.

Good venue. If they are short on staff they won't serve food upstairs

I do like this rev, staff are friends and vibe is always nice. You can sit inside or have takeaway drinks and have chinwag near the river. Not far from the station aswell which makes it easier to get too.

Amazing service, great selection of drinks. I highly recommend it for a night out and corporate parties.

Revolution's upstairs balcony is one of the best places for a summer drink by the Thames. With lots of indoor seating and a wide selection of cocktails, long queues due to an often understaffed bar unfortunately let this cheerful riverside bar down.

Lovely and friendly staff, for that I would give 5 stars. However the food was a big let down.
I wasn't expecting a gourmet meal, but the quality was below what you would find at an old pub or a kebab shop.
I had a vegan burger with what I would describe as a dry bun, tasteless tomato slice, a sad leaf of salad and a plant based patty of which the only flavor you could perceive was some sort of midly hot spices.
My partner had a classic burger, very underwhelming. In her words 'a McDonald's burger is better'.
We found the bathroom to be grim and smelly too.
Sadly, not recommended - shame as the location is great.

Food was great but took ages to be served and then for the food to arrive.

In general slow and stuck up staff and really expensive prices. However, abusive bouncers commenting about myself and refusing my entry after purchasing a drink, that's not on.

Went for the groupon deal (burger or pizza plus cocktail for 2) as late brunch on a Sunday. Had to wait for the kitchen to re-open at around 4pm? before we can have food. But, they had a Really nice and chill ambience/atmosphere and service was prompt. Burgers were cooked nicely, and there was a wide range of cocktails to choose from. All in all, It was a really great deal!

Last Sunday 3 beers off . This week two pumps off - what is wrong with this pub? If you are running out it s poor stock management and if you can t be bothered changing barrels it s lazy staff - either way this is poor management. Come on management - these are the basics - sort it out!

Shut to the public for filming, also had a large part of the slug and lettuce reserved but didn't see anyone using the seats

Visited for food and drink on its first night of reopening following the COVID closure. Fairly quiet and staff still getting to grips with new arrangements but we enjoyed our visit.

Very friendly place that accommodated for COVID regulations and cannot express how professional and thorough Ash was who served us

I've been visiting this place for ten years and the atmosphere has been consistently good. A relaxing mood with great cocktails and a cool crowd

I waited so long to be served (30 minutes at a really not busy time) that by the time I got to being served happy hour had gone and staff wouldn't give me the discount. Paid 18 pounds for two glasses of gentrified squash.

Very happy to see Revolution back open!
Had a great evening with my friends yesterday, we loved the stud puffin.
Service was great Ayrton and devantae provided us with great service, amazing evening.

Nice riverside bar, very good for relaxed drinks with friends on a summers evening.

Sorry but fish in fish and chips was dry. Pork rib so fatty it wasn't really edible.

Place looked like it was full of mafia and I strongly believe my drink was spiked as I don't remember half of the night or getting home.

Nice atmosphere and great location, drinks can be steep but overall worth it

There were 5 people in the bar when we went there but had to shout and wave our arms to get service. Waitress was too busy with flirting with one of the customers. Cocktails were weak and watery.

We didn't stay long, only for drinks, but they played nice music and there was a good selection of cocktails. Nice happy atmosphere. Would come back with friends.

Good location and nice crowd, no wanna be heros. I quite enjoyed it. Good clean venue, quick bar service and very clean! Also its super easy to get a taxi or uber from here.

We were a party of 14, and attended the cocktail masterclass.
Absolutely hilarious, great bar tenders who made us feel welcome and were game for a laugh, it was a brilliant afternoon and everyone in the group were given the opportunity behind the bar....
I would without hesitation recommend this for anyone celebrating a birthday of any age.

Cold food, poor service no apology from manager but staff was helpful. I would never go there to eat!!!!

Great place indeed. Lovely stuff and environment, but no attention to details.

Awful food compared to any other restaurant visited previously. Slow service probably due to being a Saturday afternoon. Staff friendly. Good location of restaurant, just don't buy food....

I was served by Louis. I ve ordered a row of six shots and burgers for me and my date it was incredible!! Best constumer service thank you for the experience

Nice bars on both levels, and the terrace is great when the sun's out! I've only eaten here once and the food was okay, but the service, although friendly, was pretty slow.

Very nice bar, located in Richmond overlooking the Thames. Celebrated my birthday here, had table booked for me with complimentary drinks. Customer service is excellent, very friendly and attentive staff. Will be back again when in the area.

Went on a average Sunday for a drink and a snack it was not packed or that busy.

Plus point was the beer was nice and cold.

But will never recommend or go again myself

Dont go in Happy Hour. Service takes too long as everyone is ordering cocktails. Might be nice to have a couple of non cocktaill servers.

Used to be great but the crowd has changed and it looks tatty now.. Waiting 15 mins start to finish for a drink when at the bar is really poor. (That time was from when ordering)

Place packed full of people and no real atmosphere. Far better to do one of the many lovely pubs in Richmond.

We had to wait for an hour to get our food... After all was good but definitely wouldn't go again.

Good place to go with friends, nice lively atmosphere and bouncers on the door ensure no trouble can be caused inside

Very poor went up to roof terrace to be told we can have food but had to go back downstairs to get our drinks to bring them back up again so we decided to stay downstairs as we wasnt going to go up and down for drinks we gave a choice of drinks to be told they had none in stock no white wine no pimms in stock we choice lager in the end which was flat what a fine example to set new customers no we wont be coming back

Regardless the circumstances..respect should be first of all.

Food is a shameful overpriced .snacks Deadly unflavored burgers with nacho is not a meal .I realise the customers are a young .clientele with no taste buds left after the dish water cocktials have been quaffed.toilets are shameful .The poster art is historicaly wrong with the polish stamps depicting the soviet heroes as a revolutionary happening is anacronistic and insult the word Revolution. If this is a chain then management enslaves the staff on a un livable wage . Sooner this style of pub is taken back by the integral people the better.

Very disappointing... apart from great location and lovely river views all is lacking. Starting with dirty table we have been directed to, no-one bother to tidy it so we had to do it ourselves. Continuing with no draft beer on the hottest day of summer( It was only 2pm), warm bottled drinks without glasses.. then glassware comes warm straight from dishwasher... does anyone feels the heat ? Food was okay thought lukewarm ....Roast should be hot ... comes of course without cutlery... dips ... you can forget about it asif it they never arrived...
I have to say I used to work as a waitress and I remember busy days... when you are the only one due to a shortage of staff... that's why I am usually very understanding of the restaurant staff... but what I have experienced tody was simply BAD SERVICE AND LAZY INCOMPETENT WAITRESSES ...

Great fun atmosphere with music that makes you want to dance. Spacious inside and friendly staff.. The food looks tasty too.

Really good pizzas, great area, staff aren't the friendliest but they are still nice enough!

Happy hours and the decor inside the pub is amazing.. on a sunny day.. one can go out and enjoy amazing thames river views along with some great food from Revolution

I arranged a Birthday party for 14 people at Revolution for 8.30pm.
They confirmed me several times through the phone that their kitchen closes at 9.30pm.

When we arrived, there wasn't a table ready for 14 people but 2 separate ones. I asked the staff to have them in one, they were annoyed and made us help them with it. Black ballons on top of the table, not the ideal colour for a birthday party. We couldn't imagine that we had to specified to have some happy colours ballons.

8.50pm we went to order food, the waiter snorted and we've been told that the kitchen was already closed and there's nothing they could do even if 14 people are waiting to have dinner and they initially said the kitchen would have closed at 9.30pm.

We managed to order our food, and we've been told to wait 30 min to have it ready. The food was randomly thrown on the table not even specifying what was it and who was who's, with no cutlery.

Nobody from the staff ever even bothered to clean up the table or checking on us.

10.10pm we asked to put some music on to dance for a bit, and the waiter snorted and said that they were about to close.

10.30pm we asked to bring out the cake we brought. They didn't even clean up the table before placing the cake on it. They placed the cake among the dirty glasses and dirty dishes. Again no cutlery was given with the cake, just a knife that wasn't even right for cutting cakes.

We really felt unwelcomed! The most rubbish service ever. Don't choose this place if you are planning to have a birthday party! Such a shame for the place!

Very good music for dancing or drinking, the service ... not so much, something bordering. Average, restaurant / pub chain food. Kitchen closed very soon. But the location is beautiful and for a date or a party time it is recommended

Booked a table. For New Years Eve and Tickets for 250 pounds and we have been refused at the door.
The Sales Woman was only interested in selling the tickets and she provided wrong information about the booking procesues and the opening times.
She never gave any information about a strick booking policy.
The payment has been made in full on the 31st but the information and confirmation arrived only yesterday.
I did try to be in touch again with the Sales Team and have sent emails also to the Head Office but i have never received an answer.
Nobody answers the phone and i have never received a call back.
Very Rude and Aggressive Staff at the entrance.

Slow service, over priced drinks and filthy bar. Never again.

Really nice bar/restaurant! Great location with so many good drinks! Phoebe (staff) was really friendly! Definitely recommend!
