We delivered a motor for assessment and replacemen...

We delivered a motor for assessment and replacement or repair. We hand delivered the motor but ended up getting charged freight. We expected this charge to be dropped when we told Rice we delivered the motor but were told that since we agreed to the quote and freight was in said quote we had to pay the cost. We were going to pick the motor up as well but had them deliver it instead. A waste of $70 for us and a loss of a future customer for them. Also, make sure you tell them you want your old motor back. We were told it would be more to have our old motor fixed then replace it. We told them fine but we wanted our old motor returned. They said they reduced the cost of new motor based on a scrap value of the old motor and the cost of moving the pulley from the old motor to the new motor. I trusted the explanation at the time, but that was before the freight issue. The new motor was then delivered with no pulley at all. Now I'm questioning a lot of things about Rice.
