I have eaten at Franco's a few times and we have ordered catering for big parties. Honestly, everything was superb. The manger and staff were attentive and helpful. Food arrived hot and yummy to my house (they even have delivery for parties which makes things less hectic). I don't eat Italian out at all, never do except for work and these occasions. Great food. I have had NO bad experiences with them and would order again.

Been going here for years since it was in dormont and then moved to McMurray. Never had a bad meal here. Very reasonably price for a upper scale restaurant. I do wish that they had their pot pie soup more often and on a specific day. It is the best soup. Give it a try. You wont be disappointed.

This place was fantastic! One of the best steaks I ever had and I'm a steak fiend. Mom loved her pasta dish. Appetizers were great. Service wad excellent. Price levels were very reasonable and the value received exceeded the price. It's a bit out of the way for us, but it was so good it's worth the drive. We'll be heading here again soon. We tell people about this place all the time. A+

My favorite option on the menu is a seasonal item which was the winter berries salad. I was very fond of the menu selection even though my husband was not. However I must say the entry door was quite strange, and I have no idea who the target audience is for the atmosphere that they have created. When we planned on going originally we thought that we were going to have a nicer meal out together, but once we got there it was such a strange mix between bar atmosphere, dinner atmosphere, jazz?, there were TVs... I was just confused. However I will be returning, just probably not with my husband.

Top-notch, from our fantastic waitress to the food. We started off with the greens and beans and sauteed calamari. Our mains were the veal lucca, meat ravi's and chicken marsala. Ended the meal with two tiramisu's. Quality food, large portions and very fair prices. I highly recommend.

Excellent quality Italian food, great service and atmosphere all at reasonable prices. Among the best bolognese meat sauce ever! Chicken and veal parmigiana also excellent. Fried zucchini appetizer highly recommended. Very busy on Friday and Saturday evenings. Recommend you go early on those evenings.

Absolutely delicious. You will not leave hungry. Best italian food we have had since living here almost 9 years. We will definitely be back. The prices are reasonable and Lori, our waitress was wonderful, attentive and friendly.

My family & I love going to Franco's! Their menu is awesome and the bi-weekly specials are always spectacular!!
But one of the things I love the most about Franco's, everything is prepared when you order it. That way if you don't want mushrooms or capers in your sauce the Chef can leave them out. Or if you want a special order that isn't on the menu, ask if the Chef can make it and he just might be able to. I asked for fish parmesan and he made me exactly what I asked for.
Prices are moderate, but not more than you would expect for the quality of the food and service.

The food was generally very good and the crab cakes in particular were outstanding. The service could've been better, though: Forgotten appetizers and empty beverages aren't something I expect at a restaurant of this caliber. The server recognized this and comped the appetizers without being asked to do so. These things happen and I appreciated the courtesy. I will definitely be back.

Food was really good and their "lunch portion" was enough to feed two people for lunch. The chicken parm sandwich and sausage sandwich were both huge and definitely fulfilling. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a good Italian food experience. The atmosphere inside is also clean and stylish. I will for sure be back when I'm in the area.

I wish I could rate higher. The food was absolutely AMAZING! My server was an absolute professional (Tim McGarvey) and I was very impressed he didn't take any notes for our orders and everything came out exactly as we had ordered. I will be going back very soon. The Crab Balls and Fried Zucchini were a 10 as was the filet.

My one and only experience: pricy (but delicious) food, below average service, and several little things done wrong. We were seated outside, but rather than seated at the empty tables near the back greenery of the outdoor area, we were seated beside and facing the busy main road. We encountered 2 hairs - one in the side salad, one in the chicken parm. Our server was sarcastic, unattentive (I got NO water refills), and seemed bothered that I would have the odasity to interupt her day and ask for more bread. I very very rarely tip below 20%, but she got around15%. The side salads were quite plain (not what I expected for a $20 basic meal), the bread was tasty (a bit chewy), the chicken was quite delicious, the penne 'side' was ok, and the mashed potato side was excellent. Overall, I would give this place a 5 out of 10 - I liked it enough to have said I've been there, but would not recommend others to come here.

This is a cozy place with very good food. We generally take our dinner at the bar, staff is attentive, prices, while not cheap, are in line with other similar restaurants and value for the price paid is good. Steaks are good, pasta specialties are too.. worth a visit.

We gave Franco's a second try because our first experience was not a good one. The service was excellent. The food, however, was very disappointing. We dropped in for glass of wine and a couple of appetizers. The two food items ( fried gnocchi and calamari) were unappealing and tasted like they were boxed frozen items that anyone could purchase at their local grocery store. We will not be dining there a third time.

I've been coming here for years. Don't let the strip mall fool you, this is delicious food. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the service can be very poor at times. Overall it's the best Italian food at this price in the area.

Great atmosphere, I love that they have the wine selection on display in one of the dining rooms. Food is classic and nicely customized by sauce etc., and the home made dressings are highest quality.

The food here was AMAZING. The meatballs and fried zucchini were heavenly. The clam linguini was spot on. Gordon Ramsay would give it 10/10. Price is reasonable too. Definitely will be going back.
