Rica Helsfyr Hotel Review

Neat room. The restaurant has a tiny menu. 2 "waiters" at work, but it's pretty messy service. A little too long wait for the food, tasted okay but old potato. Excited on tomorrow's lunch.

Free parking. Near the metro, so as not to drive by car to the center.
Like all Scandicas, an incredible amount of dust. For years, do not clean the rooms. First gave one number. In addition to being dirty, he was also cold. I asked for a heater, people at the reception offered me another room, where we moved. The room was also dirty. I asked to get out, but according to tradition there are no cleaners in Scandicas, there is no one to get out. Again, people at the reception offered another room, I said to him: "why should I have another number? I traveled all over the country everywhere Scandicus are dirty, let's go and see." Send him to the room he chose. And there is even more dust. I m holding my palm straight and showing the dirt like under the wheel arches in my car. You see? He: "ohh, well, sorry, yes it is bad," he said that he would free himself and come clean in our room. While we were walking, no one came to get out, they wiped everything themselves. But it turns out, it happens even worse, like Scandic in Copenhagen, for example, about which I will also write a review, and there people in general did not consider dust to be cleaned as such.

Great hotel, 5 star food and people can come to eat there without staying there.

Good located hotel for a fair price.
All in all very well maintained with a pleasant room size and amazingly fast lifts (we were on the 7th floor, and it did not take 10sec until we were in our hallway).

The view is currently not so great (on a major construction site on the northern side of the road).

To the right is a kindergarten, and a large ice rink.

In a few minutes walk the connection to the subway and various bus lines.

Parking is enough around the hotel and (free) on the front desk to book (with indication of the indicator, so you will not be towed).

Despite the fact that the hotel has only three stars, it does not affect the quality. Large room, no problems with plumbing, otoichnaya ventilation system, flawless linen and towels. Great breakfast. The ladies at the reception, of course, could be more polite, but probably affected by the end of the working day. There is a restaurant, you can have dinner. The only negative is the availability of parking. For two nights the cost is 300 NOK. And a big plus is the proximity to the metro. To the center 4-5 stops.

Nice hotel with fresh interior. The breakfast was great and we even ate a hamburger for dinner which was good. But they had missed filling up shower gel, coffee capsules and handkerchiefs. It was no problem to ask them to replenish, but sadly it was not done. When we left, I also discovered that my reading lamp was broken (the on / off button was missing). Too bad at the misses otherwise it would have been rated 4.

Good hotel with nice staff but the hotel is characterized by the fact that it is old, lack of upgrading, no energy management of the rooms and unfortunately the food has gone from being good to very simple and varying quality.

Hotel is undergoing refurbishment, lots of dust and noise

Has been lost after the rebuild.
Gone is free parking. You have chosen not to pay for this and then the farm owner has rented out to Easypark. Parking is expensive and in addition parking attendants hunt for bugs, so it is quick to get fined.

The new rooms are small and without luxury. Superior room on the 9th floor was small and not worth the price, it is actually just a regular double room.

No coffee at the reception, no ice maker, no coffee machine in the room. no newspapers, nor for sale. . Here, the blue rush has come into place in the management.
Do not blame the corona, this is management policy.
After complaining, we have been made aware that we can supposedly download an app and then access 2 newspapers. You also have the smallest selection of TV channels but we can download an app and steam ourselves. My God, what's next?
Take better care of us regulars, otherwise we change hotels.

Nice hotel for those who are going to Valle Hovin on skates.

Apart from the view of the motorway and the stadium a good hotel 10 minutes by taxi from the center. The restaurant has a very limited menu and the service is rather slow but the food is good. Very high prices, in the national standard. Excellent breakfast buffet with a rich choice of fish and cold cuts and everything you could wish for. Perfectly soundproofed rooms.

Perfect for sleeping and getting to work quickly. Decent service and breakfast. Dinner was worse. In sum, in the middle of the tree.

I was staying here as it is the only hotel near my office. Nice hotel and helpful staff. Only struggle I faced was veg food on restaurant. Not much option for veg ppl. Only veg pizza and burger.

It has a pricey menu of food. Rooms are okay and they have a small gym with a few weights and treadmills.

Good, clean rooms for the price and nice view if u get top floors and front facing ...mostly budget type hotel ...but had bad experience at front desk ...they are of their own no matter guest or host ...check-in was bad .
This hotel and rooms are definitely stand for 4 stars but then I believe the bad reception is not something I can forget ...so 3, cheers .

Okay, good breakfast, but it's EXTREMELY listening here ... Was kept awake until 6 in the morning by rabble, the phone didn't work, so no opportunity to call the front desk. The rooms are quite worn, could need updating. The bathroom was not really clean. Dust under the beds. Chaos at reception at times.

Quite a low quality hotel, bed in the room was broken, strange smell soaked into the furniture and a strange noise from the bathroom all night.

Ot was ok but not more then that.

Better Norwegian lunch table on Sundays and holidays as it was before.

One of the few hotels in Oslo with family rooms with room for three children. Much problem with door cards that didn't work and a receptionist who could barely care less. Stupid with the parking situation, but this should certainly be done. Beginning to become reasonably worn.
