They really are a five. Cool ambience, really good food and service. Bob was the best.

The bread is made in house and crusty and good. We had:

And a Snapper Meuniere Almondine (you have to ask for the Meuniere). OMG good. The fish had a slight crispness from the sautee. Well executed. The entrees come with two sides. We had the green beans, sauteed spinach and coconut rice. We eyeballed the smashed potatoes but...next time.

Dessert was an awesome Peach Cobbler with Whipped Cream on one side and house made Vanilla Bean Ice Cream on the other. And an Espresso. We will be back. Great service (thank you Bob), good vibe and awesome food.

My first time here, it was alright. I ordered a burger and fries. There wasn't much of a selection. But overall, I'd say it was okay. I will come back, but it wouldn't be my first option. Service was good though because they were attentive.

We dine here regularly and have always been extremely pleased. The service is always prompt and friendly and you can tell the staff love their jobs. The food is always perfectly executed. Our biggest problem when we go there is deciding how many of the small plates we should get because they're all so good. Make sure to ask if they've got Heath Bar Pie when you go. It's not on the menu but it's the best pie we've ever had.

Fun, funky, and eclectic!! This is a great spot to take friends and visitors in the area. The dessert selection is always incredible!

Some previous reviewers said they ordered a burger and fries. That's incredibly dissapointing considering the vastness of flavors available on their menu!

Definitely check this place out. Order something more exciting than a burger and fries!! Im headed there tonight!

A cute little spot on antique row in West Palm Beach. You walk in and feel like you stepped back in time. I'm guessing this was an old diner or breakfast spot. It has transformed itself into a trendy neighborhood restaurant with some creative touches to an upscale " comfort food" menu. We ordered the crab cakes and a chicken dish and both were good.
We had no reservation and we're seated at the counter, and the place remained empty for almost our entire meal, while tables with lit "reserved" candles sat empty.
This cute little spot is trying very hard... and the locals who seemed to drift in appeared to be regulars

Amazing find in the heart of antique district! Absolutely loved our experience and cant wait to come back! Bob wad our waiter and was excellent! Service on point, every question answered with great detail. Portions are plentiful and full of flavor! The ravioli dish shown was split with half mushroom, half squash. Kingklip fish was new for me but VERY flavorful. Flakey yet full body. Must try. I had it arti-heart style. I want that recipe for the sauce!!! Wow!!! Herb encrusted mahi was also great. The spring rolls are made crepe-style... very very good and flavorful. Plenty to share. And the desserts looked amazing. Though we were too stuffed to truly indulge so we had a cookie and a scoop of homemade ice cream...perfect! mmmmmmmm but they must be good since a local came in to pick up THREE cakes!!! We left our credit card and they called us immediately. Thank you for that. Be sure to make a reservation!!!!!

We were introduced to Rhythm Cafe by a friend & loved it. Can!t say enough good things about this place from the decor to the atmosphere to the service to the food. We will definitely go back & you should add it to your restaurants to try list if ever in the West Palm area.

We ve been here over a month, eating out every evening, and Rhythm Cafe is one of the best. The food is amazing, the service stellar, and the ambiance is cozy and intimate. We ve eaten here three times and have had the lamb chops, fresh fish, caprese salad, spring roll crepes, peanut stew, passion fruit shrimp, hot sour soup, and every morsel was absolutely devine. Tonight it was take out only and everything was perfect. And the finale was THE best key lime pie in the county! Thanks to the owner, chef, and servers for the most delightful evenings. This will be our first stop next year!

Amazing food and service at this little and friendly joint. We tried the flat bread, the crab cake, the buttersquash ravioli and the ginger carrot soup. Everything was tasty and carefully executed. Prices are very nice too. We will 100% come back if we are on the area again. The bartender were really nice

Small quiet place, make sure to make a reservation. Excellent food, with interesting flavors. My favorite dish, out ranking the $40 steak is the $8 African Pineapple Peanut Stew. I'd honestly eat that every day all day.

Sometime in the late 1990's was the last time I had been to Rhythm. Tonight was just as superb as what I remember many years ago. My meal tonight, was absolutely magnificant! I had the best pork chop I have ever had. Jamie, was our waiter and served us with 100% attention to each of our meal choices. I will definitely make the trip more often from Boca. Outstanding job to the owners of Rhythm!

I requested that my fish and vegetables be prepared without salt.
I could hardly eat the food...it was so salty. They were not attentive at all.

There was a little bit of a wait, but there was plenty of seating out front where we hung out until our table was ready. They even gave me a little dog bowl so my pup wouldn't get too hot. We sat outside, under the covered patio, and the view was fantastic!

Used to love the food but had a horrible recent experience. I ve been here a few times to eat but mostly used postmates to get the food delivered. I placed my usual order through postmates tonight and waited the 30 minutes or so for it to be ready. Once I got the notification that my food was ready I get a call from my Postmate driver saying that Rhythm Cafe was refusing to give him my food and that they don t do online orders ...even though I ve Ordered through postmates multiple times in the past. I called the restaurant myself to see why they were refusing my order...makes no sense why they would turn down money??? It doesn t matter who picks up the food...money is money. The guy who answered had the WORST attitude and offered no explanation other than they don t work with postmates and never have (a clear lie). Now I m stuck with a $50 order on my card and a $20 cancellation fee for having to cancel the order. I m so disappointed in this place and the customer service. Used to love it but won t be giving them my business anymore.

The amount of care that goes into these classic, worldly dishes is unreal and made with great produce and ingredients; not a canned roasted red pepper in sight! The food is superb. Presentation isn t out of the world brilliant, but the flavor in the dishes more than make up for that. (The wild mushroom ravioli healed my soul, as did the Pierogis that are on special)

The service is impeccable. The restaurant layout and design is comfortable, and inviting.

The three separate curved bar tops are a unique counter concept that invites, but doesn t force, you to interact with the others at your counter-isle. If you re coming with a 4-6 person group and plan on having some drinks with your food, I recommend the bar.

The owner and Chef is also the epitome of hospitality and someone who truly cares about what he is serving you. As a person in the restaurant/food service Industry, he really seems like someone I would want to work for. and I think THAT is how I know a place is great.

This place is an absolute GEM

Great little locally owned Cafe. The decor is both retro & eclectic inside. The food was gourmet and fabulous, so was the wine. We had very attentive service. The best cheesecake I've ever had (including my own homemade!) Would definitely go back!

The wife and I visited on a food tour. This was the desert stop. It hardly seems fair to rate a restaurant after just sampling a wonderful coconut quiche (it's a pie) but the atmosphere is so quirky and retro that it is definitely worth a visit. The owners are quite welcoming and add to a warm experience.
I will update my review on our next trip to Palm.

The COVID-19 virus certainly brought fear, mourning, and misery around the world, and restaurants in South Florida remain at 50% capacity. This three decade old iconic eatery in West Palm Beach just across the bridge from The Winter White House, Mar-a-Lago, took the opportunity to hedgehog and double down on what works: CIA chef-owners Ken Rzab and Dennis Williams put themselves back in the kitchen bringing expected perfection to their signature dishes.

The food and vibe reminds me of the late 90s when they moved the small cafe from it's original location to their current retro lunch counter digs. Soon, season will have every seat booked weeks in advance. For the next couple of months, however, take advantage of the quiet time and visit Ken and Dennis. I promise you won't regret it.

after 25 years of a big fan and supporter, of this...

after 25 years of a big fan and supporter, of this business, the convenience of walking distance and relationship with the owners, i recently had a very personal horrible negative experience, i have supported this business for 25 years, i have recommended to many people that have become their new clients, during locked down i spend money i could have save considering i'm self employed getting no income, because i want them to stay in business, the day after this recent bad experienced I look for one the oldest employees there on Facebook, Bob; he had unfriended me, I left a message with Dennis, the owner, before i share this, no one call me back, I have a feeling that this is political, and very unwise, it 7 pm on a Saturday night off season during covid, business are closing down, i was given a table for me and my gorgeous companion, we were the youngest and best dress, we were having a great time, celebrating my fiend's first outing after open heart surgery, she made it and finally able to go out, as always i chose this place, there were only four tables with customers having dinner on a Saturday night at 7pm, i was reprimanded by Bob, for not making a reservation, we were ignored when we need to order another drink, as he passed by and we tried to get him, he told us he must attend accordingly, Ken was making his usual egocentric rounds from table to table, with his negative stories i can't careless about, to at the time we were about to leave, he yelled at me from behind the bar; is that a tumor you are growing on your face? regarding my perfect beautiful beard, this was totally unacceptable disrespectful, and hateful behavior, I will never go back, and many of my friend's conservative will never be put through this, they will not support this venue either. I can't say for sure this is political, i do not know any other reason why of all people they would particularly would do this to me, good luck staying in business if this is how you guys treat your best customers

Ordered last night to go and it was a joke, very disappointing. The meal was small and the dessert for $10 was a skinny piece of cake. It was picked up and the styrofoam containers were the cheapest available. Long time customer but totally insulted by last nights meal. No longer will do take out at all and it will be a long time until I return if ever. PS. They insisted on a 15% to go gratuity which I initially did not mind until I saw the horrendous containers and the lousy portions.

This place has rules on the first page of their menu. Things like: keep your phone on silent (didn't know this was a movie theatre), don't wear too much perfume, we'd rather you pay cash than card. The worst one is THEY WILL AUTOMATICALLY ADD 20% IF YOU ARE A BAD TIPPER. The food really wasn't that great I don't know what all the hype is about. Probably because everyone who eats here is 60+ they can't really taste anything anymore. Also the place smelled really bad. I would never go back here

This was a very interesting/odd restaurant experie...

This was a very interesting/odd restaurant experience for me.

This restaurant seems at once staunchly sure of what it wants to be and entirely unsure of what it wants to be.

Food - 5/5
Service - 5/5
Atmosphere - 0/5 (can I give this a lower score?)

Immediately upon walking into Rhythm Cafe we were greeted with kind, smiling faces from the servers. However, in the same instance, every one of our senses was violently assaulted with bizarre smells, odd music, and the most god-awful decor that anyone in my party had ever seen. It was so strange and loud and weird that it distracted from the otherwise pleasant experience.

The restaurant seems to be going for a fun 60's fine-dining vibe, but by way of a drug-fueled fever dream. For every piece of art featuring Marilyn Monroe or The Beatles, there is one featuring South Park or Mr. Potatohead. They have Christmas lights on year round apparently and the shelves behind the bar are COVERED in odd knick knacks from vintage Barbies to multiple Mr. Potatohead dolls, to an entire shelf full of old cans of beans. There were multiple Flamingo statues, some wearing flamboyant clothing. When we entered, we were overcome with a smell of cat food or kitty litter, or some kind of cat smell - not a good smell, and it was strong. The art on the walls was mostly 60s modern art style, but it was all so bright and loud and colorful - not at all a bad thing for a 60s themed restaurant, but in conjunction with all the other strange decor made the atmosphere so unbearably distracting that one can barely focus on the surprisingly delicious food and really great service.

Everything on the menu is unique and interesting and sounds delicious. Everything we ate there was wonderful and original. Our server was personable and nice and deserved the big tip he got. I really wanted to love this place, the wine and beer selection was great, and the food really was quite good. But the atmosphere was so disturbingly disjointed and weird that it honestly made everyone in my party uncomfortable to the point that more than one of us could not finish our food; which again, was good.

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is blind and/or owns a blindfold and nose plugs. The food is very good, but not so good that it makes me want to go back and brave the knick-knacky 60s-yet-not-60s fever dream. Perhaps an elderly, tacky, Tim Burton fan might enjoy it, but other than that I cannot fathom who this atmosphere was designed for.
