RFC Broadband, please stop filling potentially loyal customers with false hopes. If you're never going to be able to extend your services to those in Dickson County that the big name carriers have neglected, like you said you would, just say so. Don't try to keep us around if you don't intend to actually get us connected
These guys have been around for 4 years I think, and the only areas they cover are the town of Dickson which already has At&t or Comcast services already, the immediate town of Vanleer, and Montgomery Bell park. I could be wrong since their coverage map hasn't changed since they created the website. While I understand the owner is a busy man, since the company is comprised of only him and the telecommunications engineer, he made me endless promises he would never fulfill, and due date after due date after due date of when their service would finally reach our area (Sylvia) during the two years I was consistently in contact with them. Never happened! They finally put a receiver up on the Vanleer water tower awhile back, which they promised would be within range of our House. It wasn't. Another year of unfullfilled promises later, I've since moved out, but my family is still stuck with Verizon Home Fusion and around $150 for 30 GB/month to split between 4 people.
If you live in a Rural area in Dickson County like us, move on. These guys are pushovers. Your best option for high speed internet is Verizon Home Fusion - financial rape is to be expected from any rural internet service, and it doesn't get much better than this.
