Nice hotel, but we were really disappointed that the balcony doors did not open.
Nice hotel, but we were really disappointed that the balcony doors did not open.
Walls are paper thin. Room isn't very high quality (some lights weren't working, tub didn't drain). The place is swanky and nice on the exterior, but really doesn't feel like you're actually getting what you paid for. Also the pool is closed for the whole summer.
Spacious, luxurious rooms with all the details that matter like good bath products (two choices of shower products, actually), coffee and bedside lamps. Helpful service and a really convenient location.
This hotel exceeded my expectations by a lot. The staff was extremely friendly and the room as well as the rest of the hotel was very upscale. I'll be staying here next time I'm in Boston
Rooms were comfortable, meeting spaces we're kind of "hot" - trying too hard to be edgy-cool. Layout is a bit confusing.
The hotel is really nice. Staff is helpful and knowledgable. Clean atmosphere and a beautiful patio area with a full bar. Bartender knows how to make drinks. I'd stay here.
Room was bigger than most. Room service was excellent and prompt. I must say I felt right at home
Great stay. Very accommodating. Beautiful room with a beautiful view.
Great room with great balcony and views. Best bed I've slept on in a hotel. Nicely decorated with a huge TV. Parking is STEEP. I mean, it's awful. But my car felt safe.
Pretty nice place. The interior is strangely dedicated with horses and portraits of white men but what can you expect. The staff were friendly enough, and they had a great selection of pillows which made my sleep fantastic.
Great hotel. Rooms are spacious and all modern comfort is available.
Old Radisson property, nicely redone very upscale and clean. Has a rooftop lounge but not open after September roughly.
Although it would need a bit of reform in the rooms, they are spacious, good views (floor 19), comfortable bed, good pillows, lots of towels, many plugs and USB connection points. Good reception with living room with fireplace. The carpet needs a change.
The staff were really nice and friendly, and the rooftop (where my event was) was awesome and had a nice view.
When we arrived I had pre-paid for valet parking, only to find nobody at the valet booth and waited 10 minutes. Parked myself, went into lobby and checked in explained situation to the front counter associate who took 4 explanations to understand.... Room quality was nice. Great TV and bed bathroom was a bit small for a higher end room price tier. View was great from the balcony. Walls seemed paper thin. Could hear everything our noisy neighbors said and did to our sides and above us maybe it's due to it being an old building.
Very nice rooms. With a balcony. Has its own pillow list for choices
Nice room and location; however, the noise from the rooftop bar/pool was very loud, clearly audible in the room, and lasted until late in the night.
Neat hotel right near the park. Staff was helpful and attentive during the holiday rush. Rooms were spacious and clean. The parking garage was easy to navigate. One heads up, it was a bit noisy at night(Saturday), you can easily drown that noise out with the fan. Would stay here again.
Parked at the garage for dinner and show at the Charles Play house. The staff for parking were very helpful and friendly
I was at the Rebel's Guild for the NYE party and dinner. We were told to come latest by 8:30 as the dinner service would be over. We got there in time but many people were coming after us. Moreover, the service was extremely slow. We got our main course after 10:15 pm when the kitchen was supposed to close at 10 pm. The appetizer (lobster fritter), first course (salad), second course (steak) were decent. However, the pie dessert was terrible. It wasn't a pie at all, it was sweet empanadas. The crust was extremely doughy. By the time dessert was served it was closer to 11:15 pm. They were supposed to serve us coffee and I saw all tables being served coffee/tea, but they refused to serve us saying that the kitchen was closed. Many of the people who got served coffee still hadn't received their dessert or were still eating it. So, I don't understand why the kitchen was closed only for us. I think they took more people in than they could serve. When someone is paying for a good NYE experience, they expect better service. The DJ was pretty good though.
Bad customer service and accommodation, also, vastly overpriced.
Beautiful hotel in downtown Boston! Rooms were clean and modern. The bathrooms offered an array of health care products in large format bottles so you didnt have to worry about small portions that most hotels give you. The concierge was helpful in finding local restaurants to visit that were a short walk away. Valet parking was available in the building so you didnt have to worry about street parking or finding a local parking lot. I would absolutely recommend this hotel if you're in Boston!
poor service after check out!! 100%sure lost my travel pillow on the bed but waitting for whole afternoon when I call back just told me nothing on the bed ok room service only take
my tip and did nothing!!!!
Nice rooms bathrooms, very good gym, lovely overheated pool. For going from parking to room, better to go via 6th floor where is direct interchange between parking and hotel elevators. In groundfloor is necessary little walk around the building.
Undergoing renovation, upbeat modern hotel with a classic feel. Would recommend it, clean and descent sized room.
Very nice hotel very close to the convention center. Close to the North end as well. Large suites with great view. All the amenities.
Good hotel, large rooms and good service. Recommendable
Great service, the hotel was comforting and great to have company
It was a pleasant stay. Everyone that worked there, were friendly and very helpful when needed. Very clean and the hotel smelled wonderful. I am very, very picky on cleanliness and I give it a 10. Definitely will be staying there again.
Does anybody work at this hotel? Just tried calling them several times, no answer. Tried different departments too, just keeps ringing...
Hotel is a little dated but the rooms are comfortable. Bathrooms are super small. There are definitely nicer hotels in Boston in the same price range.
Left my Apple Airpods in the lobby of this hotel for a CTA conference and phoned them three hours later. Lost and found confirmed they had my headphones safe in their possession which was great...but when I filled out the form to pay for mailing them back, I received a response the items were not found. Sadly I took the time to write this 1 star review after calling the hotel repeatedly over the past week and leaving multiple voicemails for security that remain unanswered (screenshots of calls attached).
Annoying structure in terms of elevators and accessibility, but the room was nice
Stayed here for 4 nights. It was great! Room was clean, hotel was right in the middle of where we wanted to be
Love the hotel and staff. Restaurant is very good, but there are better places to eat close by.
The rug was smelly a bit, it is the chance now to change it or get special cleaning. Services were very good, but no breakfast.
Nice hotel but the elevator was quite difficult to use! Rooms also did not have a microwave which was very inconvenient!
Hotel is amazing if you enjoy receiving used bathrobes covered in chocolate sauce (I hope..). Room was not as clean as we d expect for the price. Management didn t seem to care and actually thinks we d still return... so for $400, please just make sure you go to the Intercontinental or the Colonnade. Or the Marriott to be honest.
Great rooftop, great beds. No refrigerator. (My only complaint.) Concierges were great! Very helpful.
This place is Legit nice. Huge stylish rooms. Big screen flat TV. Excellent wifi. Plugs for your electronic devices and robes/slippers in the closet. Tons of stuff a short walk away and very friendly staff. Absolutely no complaints
Rooms were clean and spacious. Refrigerators available upon request and availability. The elevators were so slow it was painful. Took at least 5 minutes to get an elevator most times; and with a large group with a lot of bags, it easily took double that when trying to check out. Rooftop pool and bar was fun, but long lines to get drinks, and you have to get there early if you want lounge chairs instead of couches. The kitchen got backed up for an hour and a half on the day I went, but it may have been because it was the day of the counter-protest of the white supremacist rally on Boston Common, which is a short walk away. Close to the theatre district and Chinatown, so many options for entertainment and food.
OK hotel with cool interiors in the room. On my last night there, the alarm went off in the whole building around 2am, and it kept going off and on for about an hour. Called the front desk but no one answers. Emergencies are out of control but could be managed much better. Also I asked the bellman to get a taxi, and he get some private ride for me that over charged, perhaps the bellman was taking some commission for it.
Great accommodations and very convenient to many sights.
We loved it. Rooms were great. We had a view of DT Boston. They gave us a champagne reception on arrival. Check in/out and key replacement were a breeze. You just can't beat the location with so much just blocks away. Family friendly. Awesome pool. It was the perfect ending to our Boston vacation.
The room and service were great. The room was quiet and clean with a unique colonial theme. Boston Commons park is a quick walk from the hotel and there are many restaurants neaeby. The only possibly negative things I would mention are that the parking is expensive and waiting foe the elevator sometimes takes a while. All in all, we had a very nice stay.
This hotel and staff (Jill ,Michelle, roseline, maxia, hamzi) has the best service awareness that I have seen in any country....they are always there for you in need with a huge smile on their face and best solution....
They understand that a good hotel and service away from home is one of the most important thing while traveling.
We thank you from the bottom of our hear
The price you pay per night for this hotel is based on its name and location. The rooms are nothing to brag about. They are clean but not very spacious. The bathroom is OK. The view from our room was beautiful and I like the fact we had a small balcony. The location is great because you can essentially walk downtown Boston. But I would rather have stayed further out and ubered into the city or stay on the north end. There s so much more to do there.
Nice, comfy room. Great view, helpful staff ss well. I would definitely stay again!
I was very disappointed with my stay. I planned what I thought would be a wonderful getaway for myself and my son. We found the hotel staff to be less than helpful from the moment we arrived. We had to carry our own luggage, and the exorbitant parking fees were an unpleasant surprise considering you have no alternative in downtown Boston. Both times we attempted to leave the hotel and take our car, I called ahead as is suggested on our valet ticket, and both times our car was not ready after 20 minutes. They didn't even go to get it until we asked at the valet stand.
At check in, the staff was chatting among themselves and didn't even acknowledge our presence. When we were finally assisted, it seemed as though we had interrupted and they were very put out.
Our room was fine, a little out dated, but the beds were comfortable and the pillows were wonderful. But stay away from the $6 bottles of water that you can purchase literally across the street at the 7-eleven for $1.50. And beware of the smell in the hallway. When we awoke on Saturday morning and left our room, the smell in the hall was so strong, that my son and I had to cover our noses. Terrible!!
Check out was the exact same situation as check in, only with different staff members. The valet, who was MIA when we came downstairs to retrieve our car, didn't get any message from the staff that we had called ahead. Then he proceeded to talk to the female staff member behind the desk and waited for the other valet to come back with coffee to go and retrieve our car.
Having stayed at other hotels in downtown Boston, I expected much more for the money. Very sad. I would not recommend this hotel unless you truly don't care about customer service.
Attended an Amazon Alexa Dev Days event sponsored by Intel. The service was good for the size of the event.
Under construction so some minor compromises. Overall clean and quite nice. No mini-fridge so 4/5.
Enjoyed our stay in this hotel. They have an enjoyable distinct smell in the lobby. The rooms are very updated and the bedding is very comfortable. Lots of locations for outlets and a working desk.
Went to a party on the rooftop. It was great! The terrace is stunning and the view is great. I wished the pool wasn't so far removed and closed off. I understand why. It's an indoor pool and it's New England! Haha I just would have liked to have the pool seem part of the fun.
The newly updated hotel is a great spot in the theater district that is right between Chinatown and Back Bay. We stayed in a king room and it was quite swanky. The rooftop pool bar was nice for a refreshing spritzer
The hotel is under renovations but that was never disclosed. An alarm went off in another room from 12 to 5. There was tear in the duvet and I was covered in feathers. I've been here before and this was so subpar.
Stay was ok nothing amazing nothing that bed. Sheets had some hair (presumably from house keeping) and room was honestly a bit bland. Staff was nice but forgot to mention they charge a 25 dollar per day amenity fee upping your per night cost. Also no one told me breakfast was not complimentary and was very overpriced (in fact one staff member made it sound complimentary)
The room is clean and staff were ok. Decorative however finishing show its age. It can't deemed a hotel as the pool is closed indefinitely. Quite a huge disappointment to kids and wasn't mentioned in hotel/ Expedia site where booking was made. The gym equipment aren't up to date also so don't expect decent work out experience if planned to. Huge noise concern at certain days as the formal pool area is now designated for rave party with lots of wild people.
Great hotel for work trip. Had thing going on but did not participate.
Centrally located, great service and I will stay there again!
Nice area nice hotel nice pool hard to find parking
