By far the best experience I ve had at any bar in Wilmington. Staff is both kind and attentive to all customers. My time spent there was first class and I owe that all to my bartender, Chase. He went above and beyond what I would expect and really made my time here one to remember. 5 stars all the way and give the staff a rise they are all magnificent.

Pre-covid I really enjoyed coming here and enjoying the outdoor area. However, we went recently and we were the only people inside wearing masks...No bartenders or patrons even pretending to wear a mask. No social distancing. Hate to see this at a place with good potential.

Went there this afternoon with my husband because we were staying at the hotel next door. We wanted to grab something to eat and drink. We sat there for 20 minutes at the bar and was never acknowledged. There were 2 bartenders one was to busy talking and the other just kept helping everyone else except us. This was the worst customer service I've ever had.
The first bar tender we had was awesome. The second one had an attitude. And I ordered breaded wings to go. I got them home and were naked wings after I asked him twice. His attitude was the killer.
Great potential but just lousy. It s a shame, because I ve been to Pantana Bob s in Chapel Hill and Greenville and those locations are great. But here in Wilmington, numerous bad servers, despite no crowd; bad food; and possibly worst of all, a host of televisions but only six channels. No March Madness?! This place has so much potential, especially with its outdoor space, and it s just throwing that potential down the toilet. Save it and go to Carolina Ale House, Captain Bill s, Ogden Tap Room, or downtown.

Great food. I love the cheese fries and the bacon cheddar burger is great. The chief comes out to check on your satisfaction and talks with the customers. Prices are good. Lights went out tonight and the staff still worked hard to make sure we were happy. Love watching WVU football games here.
Pantana Bobs is one of my favorite bars in Wilmington, NC because of the spacious outdoor/indoor bar. It is a good place to go as an alternative for a quieter night than going downtown. The food is good and the drink specials are awesome. It s not your typical restaurant type menu but great snacking menu when you re just hanging out. They have lots of TV s posted, great for sports crowds, dog friendly (outside), and a very clean atmosphere. Also their staff is awesome, never had any problems and very friendly. So glad this bar came to Wilmington
No food choices. No advertising or specials that are worthwhile. Took forever to open and aren't busy...ever.
Walked in on a not too crowded Sunday and sat at bar. After 5 minutes of no one giving me eye contact or asking for an order I went to the outside bar. 1 server and not too busy but once again ignored. You can dress it up and make it look nice but if the service is as bad as this you will not stay in business long. I will probably not return and I live 3 blocks away.
Caters to locals and it really showed in their service. I am a local, but not a frequent local to this place and felt like I was treated as a "2nd in line" customer at the outside bar area. Guests on both sides of me felt the same.
My other negative review of this place was removed so people wouldn t know how awful the clientele at this place is; that should be evidence enough to never go here. Floor/kitchen staff are great (only thing here that is), management is terrible, and be prepared to get harassed and bullied by the dried up trashy locals that frequent this place. Nothing but crabby, entitled and arrogant people go here and the average age of the people inside is never below 50. Go to ANY other place in Wilmington unless you like hanging out with alcoholic losers that are constantly in a bad mood.
The staff is always friendly and they make the best pulled pork quesadilla.

Nice venue. Food was just so-so. Quesadillas were good...burger was overcooked.
There's just a few bugs that needs to be worked out with the pool table, but all in all, it was a good place to go and hang out with family and friends. Thanks.
We recently had Pantana Bob's cater a party for us. We we're very pleased with the quality of the food and we received numerous comments from our guest about the size of the jumbo shrimp. If you're considering having an event catered, I recommend contacting their executive chef Montrel. He went out of his way to accommodate us and exceeded our expectations. On the day of our event, we discovered that he included extra chicken fingers, salads, sauces, utensils, paper products and many more. Montrel also checked in with me later that evening to make sure that our event went well and that our guests enjoyed the food. Their catering price was also unbelievable. After calling around to many restaurants, I quickly realized that no one was able to come close to their pricing. We had enough food to feed double the amount of people and everyone was very pleased with the flavor and quality. If you're considering having an event, I highly recommend calling Pantana Bob's and speaking with Montrel. You'll be pleasantly surprised to see what all he can offer, at an amazing price. He's a chef that enjoys what he does and his number one goal is to please his customers.
Needs a wider variety of choices on the menu. Can't wait to see what kind of entertainment you 'll offer here compared to your other locations especially since I frequented your Greenville location which was always packed. This one in Wilmington is however in a different class than Greenville's location. This one is a lot nicer. Higher end design and so clean. I love it. I can't wait to see the night life side. And I heard the bbq is pretty dang good too so next Friday I 'll be here with plenty of company.

Hidden Gem in Wilmington NC...I absolutely love this place for watching games and socializing! Excellent food & atmosphere!
The staff was very stand-off-ish. Highly aggressive with my friends. We were in a large group visitin from out of town and they were extremely disrespectful to multiple of my peers. They were making drinks light and took a long time to bring us our orders. Acted like they didn t care and made us feel as though we did not belong. We tried to talk to the employees to express our concerns with their staff, and ended with them screaming obscenities at us until we respectively decided to leave the establishment. I m highly disappointed with my experience here as I had heard great reviews. I was looki forward to my night before going here, and it made my entire vacation feel as though I shouldn t have come. There are plenty of places to eat/drink in the area, and I recommend you try any other one.
I have been to this establishment at least 30 times. One night I went with 7 people and when I got to the door all my friends got in, mind you they re all white and i m Black. I ve worn my Jordan s to Bob s many times. But tonight the bouncer said the rules were changed. So he wouldn t let me in with my Jordan s. So I went back home changed shoes and got back in the line. I was clearly wearing Nike s not Jordan s and the bouncer looks at me and says I can t let you in with those Jordan s I pulled up my pant leg and said these are Nikes . Then it was almost like the bouncer was looking for any reason not to let me in. I was wearing a plain black long sleeve thermal shirt on with cacky pants. The bouncer then looked at me and said I can t let you in with that plain tee. I was like this is not a plain tee, this is a long sleeve thermal shirt. Then the police officer advised me to leave. My friends all got in wearing similar things, They did not want to let another black man in that night
The chef delivered our food to our table and you can tell he takes pride in what he's serving. My food was excellent. Not sure about your smoking rules but I'm not a fan of cigarettes blowing in my direction especially while I'm eating
The staff here is completely clueless. They don't pay attention to the customers and are extremely rude. Nearly impossible to get a drink without flagging down the bartender even when it isn't busy. Management is a total joke. The food is just garbage from a freezer bag dropped into the deep fryer. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Enjoyed Band of Oz. Ordered food and was good but took to long to get. Last time there it took almost 2 hours to get food.
It's true there is a limited menu, but the BBQ and hush puppies were so yummy! There's a cool outside bar and we didn't wait long to be seated or served on a Friday afternoon! Lots of drink choices and the bar has great recommendations. Try something new and check it out!
They have amazing bbq plates and last time I went it was free after 7!
Awesome outdoor deck space! (Love any place I can bring my dog) service was a little slow the night I went but they did say they had two call outs that day so that s understandable, things happen. I d be back.

Chef Tony is now cooking up his culinary delights here!!! So that's 5 stars, just waiting on service to catch up. This place has so much potential, a ton of TV's, amazing outdoor seating - which is dog friendly, corn hole, pool table, solid drink selection, inside is updated and very clean and there's live music nights. Updated to include that we only like to go when Stephanie is working. She is amazing and really carries the place! Love her attentiveness and friendly attitude.

Location is pretty good. The bar itself is beautiful, but the service is awful!!! When people are standing at either bar with money in hand and can't get a drink, need to look at management!!!
Great restaurant and bar with pool table and lots of TVs for watching sports reasonable prices and daily specials, the service was also excellent, in addition they have a great outdoor seating space with TVs to watch your favorite sports events.
Bartenders over serve people and let them drive away drunk... only care about the dollar in there pocket at the end of the night not the person getting behind the wheel of the car. Worst bar in town.
Super nice place but sure hope they get the profane filled since it's starting to get cold outside now. Also do not have your food on the bar thinking it'll still be there after going to go get warm, even if you write don't throw away on it. No attention to details. But compensated with a couple drinks free..

I come here just about every day. Best drink and food specials in town. Bands and DJs are awesome just a great place to be. Would recommend to anyone new in town or looking for a great hang out spot.
Had the wonderful experience of eating at Pantana Bob's this evening. The establishment was very clean, freshly remodeled and the outdoor patio was an awesome place to sit with a nice breeze. I received promot service with a smile, my drink never went empty. I ordered the club and it was possibly the best sandwich I may have ever had. Food was hot and came out quickly truly an amazing experience will go back time and time again I highly recommend to any and everyone.

I hope to be here again one day. Definitely worth a visit if you haven't been here. I stayed at the hotel next to bobs the last month and ive probably ate here 20 times. I enjoy QUALITY FOOD (Thanks tony) and bobs has it. The people behind the bar and the cook makes it a great environment.
Food took forever and it was cold when it arrived to the table. Beer was cold and service was great. Not a place to eat but great for drinking and hanging out.
I wanted so badly to like this place. It's a typical dive bar, hardly ever any people inside so it's a nice place to bring friends if you want to have conversation and be able to hear each other. The main issue with this place is the staff. Multiple times I've witnessed both the GM and bartenders displaying a complete lack of understanding of how to preform their job, and giving attitude to people trying to help them. For example, I've witnessed both the GM and bartenders having to be told how to make a martini, what having a drink "neat" meant, and how to make a lemon drop. At one point a person I came with commented that the budlight he ordered tasted sour. The GM rolled her eyes and said ok. Either the owner is going to have to start from scratch with the staff or this place is probably going under.

The atmosphere doesn't make up for the terrible service. The bar was slow on a Sunday and it took three people to pass us for someone to greet us. We were continually ignored and the waitress was pretty rude. The food was normal bar food and nothing special. This place would benefit from some good management because it has potential.

Drinks were decent price, ordered wings to go with mini corn dogs app to go. The mini corn dogs I guess cost a buck a piece and the wings tasted like they were cooked and dirty oil. Disappointed in food very much. I was expecting best wings in town.
