Very nice italian resturant with exellent food. (but the porsions are a bit small if your'e hungry). Probably wise to book a table in advance... always a lot of people here...

Nice cozy tent in an old warehouse. Great Italian food and good wine choice. In the summer, sit outside on a terrace boat in the beautiful historic harbor of Schiedam. Definitely recommended.

Best restaurant in Schiedam! Very good food, nice wines and a super good atmosphere. The friendly service makes it complete. Extra fun when the sun shines, because then the outside terrace (a raft in the canal) opens. A bit difficult to park, but very easy to reach by bicycle and public transport.

The location is nice. However, I was not satisfied with the service. Also, a big surprise was that they had only one kind of beer and only one snack.

My husband and I unfortunately had a bad experience at this restaurant. The waitress didn't seem to be having her best day. She looked anything but friendly. I ordered risotto with fish, which was delicious. My husband, on the other hand, tagliatelle carbonara, of which I must have tasted a quarter of it. After dinner we drove straight to the hotel. I hardly had to go to the toilet in the room. I had diarrhea. My husband too! Later we both had diarrhea until our stomachs were empty again. The location is great, but if you want to eat outside, you will be disturbed by the immediate traffic.

After a day in Blijdorp we went looking for something to eat in Schiedam.
We thought the atmosphere here by the water was so special, so we really wanted to eat something there.
The menu is fairly limited, but that usually means that the kitchen is very good.
Well, that's absolutely right. Really fantastic.
My youngest daughter went to live in Schiedam, so the chance that we will come here more often is very high.
Definitely a must.

Top restaurant, very professional reception and service, beautiful location both interior inside and terrace on a boat outside, perfect timings to service and preparation, excellent menu with delicious dishes at reasonable prices. Absolute must.

Also for the vegetarian a really tasty salad and a really tasty main course! I enjoyed the food!

In no time have we had such a top evening in a restaurant together. Good attention was paid to all dishes. Our starters, the fish for me and the Bruschette goat cheese with mushrooms, tasted great. With the main course we were pleasantly surprised by the help that was offered with the wine choice. The man really knew everything about the Valpolicella Ripasso, which indeed exactly matched the superbly prepared diamond tenderloin and the calf's loin. I dare to state that the risotto that was served with it is incomparable. It was all so good that we were afraid of losing the experience at the dessert. But nothing could be further from the truth: The pannacotta and tiramisu tasted very good and were the finishing touches. We recommend this restaurant and with a chef of this caliber we will definitely be back at Prego.

It's a beautiful location with friendly staff .. But I don't think the food is Italian at all .. A pasta carbonara becomes a pasta with cheese and bacon .. Of course that is not what you order.

We had a really delicious meal! Nice service !!! If we are in the area again we will definitely come back ... A small downside, the patio chairs are really not nice!

Delicious eaten outside on a summer evening with a wide choice and extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff.

The menu was small but the food was great. The main course for a vegetarian was unfortunately only 1 choice, so the choice was quickly made. However, it is possible to take several starters that are also vegetarian.
The food was absolutely delicious.
Well worth it.

Beautiful restaurant with great food. We had a table on the first floor, and the sloping roof added atmosphere. After a glass of prosecco (it was my birthday) I had a bruschetta, followed by pasta with duck. Never eaten before, but very special. In combination with the friendly service, this made for a wonderful evening to celebrate my birthday.

Friendly service and excellent cuisine. In good weather, the floating terrace is a recommendation!

Never seen such dirty, unclean and anti-sanitary place. Cooks has no idea of washing hands, food on the floor, bread is cut by dirty hands of waiters. If you want to die from stomach diseases- here is your place. See the picture- that fridge never knew cleaning at all
